Cape Cod historic home, perfect getaway, wrap around porch, beach 5 mins away and big yard. We like to keep it maintained and in good condition. For July and August we try not to break up the weeks, unless the dates fall within the next two weeks.

This house is designed for families and friends to have a relaxing and fun vacation on the Cape, therefore we have to make sure guests do not abuse the house.. including throwing out of control parties. Although we do encourage wedding/special planned event parties and respectful get-togethers!

The house was perfect as a gathering space for our large, active multi-generational family during the week of a family wedding on the Cape. The large yard and wrap-around porch allowed plenty of space for children to play safely while the adults could relax and catch up with one another. The interior was perfectly decorated to retain the historical character of the home while still being comfortable without too much concern for breaking things. Everything was provided, from high chair to steam iron, to dishwasher and cooking equipment and utensils. There was more than enough to do in the area - beaches to explore, the Shining Sea Bike Trail, the villages of Falmouth and beyond.... Our host Don was friendly and clearly enjoyed sharing the history of his family home. We will definitely keep it in mind for future family gatherings.

This house was Great. Very comfortable and roomy. Perfect location for my husband to fish the canal and us girls to get in some site seeing. Jennifer's family lives right up the road and provided a wealth of information and were extremely friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at the house at Bourne. The house was lovely and clean and had everything we could need. Beds were comfortable. It was lovely in the evening to sit on the porch with a drink and just chill. Sharing the garden with wild turkeys which roam the area was amazing. Having Don nearby was a comfort but we were very much left on our own to enjoy our time. I would happily recommend this location to others.

This house made the best part of our short trip from Boston to Cape Cod. It perfectly fits a group of 7, and provides everything we need, from cookers in the kitchen to beach towels we used by the sea. Jen's family is very friendly and responsive. The whole house is like a beautiful antique, I even want to have one more day just staying inside the house to discover its story. 10 out of 10 comparing to my previous Airbnb experience, considering the price and location, you shouldn't miss this great place!

Our August trip to Cape Cod was made perfect with our stay at the House at Pocasset. Like others, our favorite spot was on the expansive porch which gives views of the manicured grounds. We loved watching the blue jays and ospreys and even spotted a few turkeys one morning. The house is big with a roomy kitchen, dining room, two sitting rooms and 4 large bedrooms. The house has any amenity you could want. I was concerned that it would be warm in the house in August, but each room as a ceiling fan and with the cool nights and the cross breeze, it was quite comfortable. The historical significance of the house is fascinating and has been honored with antique furniture and beautiful woodwork throughout. Our mini family reunion prior to a family wedding in nearby Falmouth was made extra special with our stay here.

My brothers and I took our parents here for a surprise weekend getaway for their 40th wedding anniversary. Everything was really lovely. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed. There is no A/C, but it certainly gets chilly enough at night with the windows open! The wrap around porch was wonderful for hanging outside and the yard was great for games. We met Don and Laura (owners) and they were so kind and super helpful in getting us to Martha's Vineyard. The only minor downside would be the water pressure in the shower, but that's just being picky :) Highly recommend!!
