Información sobre este anuncio
We love the views, open space, gorgeous rural outlook. We especially love our Italianate gardens where we often go and sit out with a glass of wine and take in the views. We love interiors, our house has appeared in 25 Beautiful Homes Magazine.
Our home is in essence a Victorian Rectory although it was built as a Hunting Lodge. It is very bright and spacious with all our rooms South facing. Thick walls means quiet and tranquillity. We moved here for the sense of space and the spectacular views.
Servicios y zonas comunes
Our guests all have a very large bedroom with private bathroom, lots of space to move around as well as use of our guest lounge and the Orangery for breakfast. All rooms have flat screen with integrated dvd players, free wifi, ipod docking, tea and coffee making facilities.
Atención a los huéspedes
Sandy and I are here generally throughout the day to help you with your stay. We can recommend lots of places to visit and have loads of local knowledge. Lara our Labrador Husky cross is available for guided tours of the area.
We overlook Long Mountain, spectacular Shropshire countryside but are within striking distance of the historic town of Shrewsbury. There is a lot to do here but little of it is on our front doorstep. Suits walkers and adventurers. Lots of historic sites within easy journey times (15 mins)
We have free car parking here on site. There is a bus at the bottom of the lane to Shrewsbury and mid Wales but to get the most from your stay you would really need to be mobile.
Otros aspectos destacables
We have car parking here but a car is essential as we are quite rural, we have great pubs only a couple of miles away and one of these does run a courtesy car.
This is our home, we would expect our guests to behave in the same way that they might expect us to behave if we were staying with them, with courtesy and thoughtfullness

I am a Londoner who moved to the Shropshire countryside in 1989. I have had a very varied worklife, currently running our B&B with Sandy and writing the occasional novel. We are well travelled and interested in the world , love stimulating and thought provoking conversation but can equally chill with a glass of wine. Sports mad and will chase anyone around the tennis court if asked. We love food, the company of interesting people and would prefer to laugh than frown. We are very relaxed here, you can check out our reviews on Tripadvisor, our main goal is to enjoy life as much as possible and ensure our guests do too. Wollaston has a great vibe, everyone says so, we are just an ordinary couple with a positive outlook, it seems to work.
