Charming 2 bedroom flat in the heart of London Victoria in an interesting Art Nouveau building, fully furnished (with tv, towels&wifi) across from Victoria Park Plaza Hotel. You get all the advantages of a central London hotel and have your own place.(Nr train/underground/bus station: Victoria).

This charming 2 bedroom (3 beds) flat is located on the quiet side of a traditional Edwardian mansion block (2nd floor with lift/elevator and overlooking King's Scholars' Passage) and just moments from Victoria, Pimlico village and Belgravia. The flat is in a prime London location, across Vauxhall Bridge Road from the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel, surrounded by wine bars, restaurants, cafes, theatres and a new Curzon cinema. Buckingham Palace, the major parks, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament (Westminster Palace), Westminster Abbey, Westminster Cathedral are all nearby(see Guidebook for locations), easy walking distance, and it's not much farther to Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square, Theatreland, major museums. etc. There is no better location in central London.

Accommodation is comprised of one master (with balcony) bedroom and one standard double bedroom, newish fitted kitchen and bathroom, and living room with original art nouveau fireplace (and a double sofa bed-the 3rd bed-that's kind of an unfeatured feature, because 6 adults would definitely be too many, but it's there as an alternative for a group of three, four, five adults or four adults +two children). The master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet. The standard bedroom has a double bed, built in closet, and a table with drawers. So we have 2 real double beds in the bedrooms and 1 standard double sofa bed in the lounge to suit your stay. Kitchen has gas cooker, microwave oven, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, washing machine. Full bath with tub and shower. Bed sheets, bath towels, shampoo, kitchen towels, toilet papers, hair dryer and International-UK power charging convertors are provided free of charge.

Especially notable sites: London tourist sites are wickedly crowded in the summer. Courtyard at Wallace Collection palazzo is virtually empty. (Wallace Collection, Hertford house, Manchester Square, London W1U 3BN, nearest tube: Bond Street, air con with little audience. Free admission, highlight tour daily: 14:30. 2. If you have time, check out Hampton Court by boat on the Thames. Cruises leave from or arrive at Westminster Pier near Big Ben.

The property is a couple of minutes from Victoria Train/Underground/Bus /Coach Stations with direct transport to London Heathrow(1 hr), London Gatwick (30 mins) and London City Airports (40 mins). Victoria station is on the District, Circle and Victoria underground Lines.

There is storage facility in the Victoria Train Station.

If you are in London more than 3 days, it is worth getting an oyster card to ride on the underground, buses and London British Rail trains. It is capped at £12/day off peak for Zones 1-6.

Muy buen departamento , en una excelente ubicación , cómodo , con una muy buena calefacción y equipado para satisfacer todas las necesidades La comunicación con Lori muy buena ella siempre atenta a responder todas nuestras dudas Realmente recomiendo este departamento y su característica principal la ubicación , al estar al lado de la estación de trenes , metro y buses te ahorra mucho tiempo .

Bueno: a 3 min andando desde Victoria station, y cerca de prinpipales atracciones. Silencioso. A mejorar: higiene escasa, nunca se ha limpiado el polvo de detrás de los radiadores ni de las ventanas. Las baldosas del baño estaban con salpicaduras de otros inquilinos y la bañera con resto de pelos

El piso es excepcional por su localización, además de ser céntrico esta muy bien comunicado con la red de bus, metro, tren. La casa esta totalmente amueblada y es cómoda. La anfitriona esta atenta y pendiente del inquilino, es una persona muy agradable y siempre disponible. Fuimos una familia con tres niños hasta 10 años y nos adaptamos bien, aunque si son mayores ya a lo mejor se queda pequeña. Muy recomendable.

Très bon accueil, quartier très agréable près de nombreux commerces, restaurant italien à 30 mètres. Appartement très calme, 0 bruit. Très bonne situation géographique (10 min de Victoria station): pratique quand on arrive de l’aéroport et pour prendre le métro. Appartement propre et cuisine très bien équipée. Merci !

GOOD: location is excellent, walking distance to many of the big sites, very close to a Tube stop. Galley kitchen small but well equipped. Check-in and out were easy enough, via a third party at the tobacco shop downstairs. Email responses from Lori were timely. BAD: heat didn't work properly, forewarned even before entry to turn thermostat on & off, try reset button on boiler if it didn't work. After no heat first night, was all or none -- no in-between, and radiator in front room does not work, ever. Shower curtain abysmal -- bought one to hang for our visit. Bath walls stained, couch frame separated, 11 burned-out light bulbs, had to clean fridge before I put food in there, central panels of toaster inoperable, debris on floors. I'm offended by paying a $96 cleaning fee for this. Though I did not meet Lori, she did seem concerned about all issues and would have sent a boiler repairman out had we not got it working, and also said we could buy a shower curtain and toaster at her expense. I am not a harsh reviewer, and have favorably commented on 15 prior Airbnb rentals. For what I paid, I expect the heat to work, the lights to turn on, and the bath and elsewhere to be clean. With so many spots available in London, I'd look elsewhere.

I am sorry that so many issues have been reported for the first time and the only time during your stay. Heating, lights and sofabed worked for the guests before and after your stay. I appreciate dimmer light switches, a different heating system and modular sofabed can take some getting used to. Shower curtain has been replaced and so will the toaster. Thank you for the feedback. Further improvement will be made at the next opportunity when the flat is not rented out--unfortunately it is quite rare.

The flat was very nice. It was clean, tidy and plenty of space. The location is very good, walking distance to many sights and close to subway station. The only negative thing I'd say is the stairwell in the building. It was very dirty and smelled like trash.

Sorry about the smell. The carpet on the stairwell was being replaced during Kim's stay. The renovation in the building is now finished and the smell has gone away,
