Climber's cabin is located at the historical Torrent Falls area, a rock climber's paradise. Even if you don't climb, the scenery out your front door is AMAZING!!!

This cabin is tucked away in the trees at the base of a cliff line on our private property. It is located less than 3 miles to the entrance of the park, about 7 miles from exit 33 on the parkway, and less than 2 miles to the Rockhouse (an amazing eatery with Nutella brownies which I highly recommend).

10% tax is included

Torrent Falls has a long and colorful history. Once home to the Adena Indians, they lived, farmed and hunted the land. In more recent history, the L. Park Hotel was built in 1890. This one of a kind landmark once boasted a suspended stage, a boardwalk dance floor, and an orchestra in the amphitheater. Now Torrent Falls is a cabin resort. With one of Kentucky’s tallest waterfalls (seasonal) and world class rock climbing out your back door, it’s a beautiful way to spend a vacation.

Step off your porch and you’re just a few feet from the private cliff line and world class climbing. Even if you’re not a climber, you’ll love this place. This cabin sleeps 6 adults.

This cabin is accessed by a series of 65 stairs.

• Full Bed in downstairs bedroom
• Set of bunk beds in downstairs bedroom
• King Bed in loft (access by wooden ladder)
• Full kitchen (stove top, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, dishes, pots & pans, dish soap)
• Full Bath (bring your own toiletries)
• All linens and towels provided
• Heat and A/C
• TV and DVD/VHS player
• WiFi available on the property (not at the cabin)

Torrent Falls is a fantastic place to stay in the Red River Gorge. It's located in the southwest corner of the gorge, very close to Natural Bridge State Park. I booked the cabin for a family vacation. We have a mix of newbie hikers, seasoned hikers, and climbers in our family, and this location had something for everyone. You cannot beat the convenience of walking a couple of flights of stairs to the nearest rock wall for climbing. The climbing on the property is for experienced climbers. If you're staying here, don't miss out on taking a walk on the property. It has some of the most amazing views I've seen in the RRG. As you can see, I'm more interested in the outdoors than the lodging, but our cabin was perfect. The instructions to get to the cabin were clear, the cabin itself was very clean and had most everything we needed. It is a smaller place, with an open loft upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs right next to each other. But that doesn't matter much if you are going to be outside a lot. It has a fully functioning kitchen with all of the utensils. Keep in mind if you plan to cook you'll need things like butter, and salt and pepper. Wendy and Craig provided towels and linens for the bed too. We had a lovely time and stay at the cabin and will be back again! Thanks Craig and Wendy!

Thanks for staying with us. We are glad that you had a good time. We try to keep Salt, Pepper and oil in the cabins...but there is tendency for them to disappear. Thanks for bringing that to my attention so that I can restock those items. We hope to see you again in the future.

The Climber's Cabin was great! It has beautiful views and great falls to walk to on the property. It was really close to trails and activities we wanted to and plenty of room for our party of 5. Lots of kitchenware, linens and towels available. The only thing we had a problem with was the heat not working but we called Craig and he came up right away to fix it and we were pleasantly warm the rest of our trip. Thanks Wendy & Craig!

This place was so fantastic. My family and I were here for two nights but left wishing we'd made it five. The location was fantastic and super close to things to do--Miguel's, hiking, etc but out just enough to feel more remote. The property was absolutely amazing. We loved that we could take our littles (4 and 6) right out to hike as soon as we got here. The waterfall is something to behold. It is super cool that you can do climbing and the like onsite, which is something we will be doing next time. It felt very safe with the passcode gate to enter the property. The cabin was great too. We all slept so well and were overjoyed that there were fans in each bedroom. The beds were super comfy and our kiddos even slept in and had no trouble going to sleep (huge win!). We loved sitting out on the porch pretty much any time of day/night. There was just the right amount of comfort while maintaining the rustic "we are out in the woods" feel. We also loved that there was no cell reception. It felt fantastic to unplug. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!!! We will see you next year, or maybe sooner :)

The cabin was great for a quick weekend getaway. Our boys couldn't get enough of the loft and we felt like we were staying in a treehouse all weekend. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and had everything to make it an easy stay. It was easy access to a few of the area restaurants and some good hikes. Our boys enjoyed starting each morning with a walk around the falls on the property as well. Overall it was a fantastic weekend and we're looking forward to returning!

We had a great time at Wendy and Craig's cabin! It's located in a beautiful gorge area with tons of great hiking (and climbing) right out back. Peaceful and private - but with all the amenities you need.
