The flat is in the city center - just 2 mins walk from the Istiklal Avenue and 5 mins walk from Taksim Square. The room has big windows, therefore a lot of light, a comfortable bed, a desk and a chair. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom

There are three bedrooms in the flat, common kitchen and bathroom. One bedroom is yours, my roommates use the other two.

You will have your own room. You will share the kitchen and the bathroom.

My roommates are pretty cool, we hang out together often. I can show you around, give you all information about the area and introduce you to local people and culture.

I finally stayed at the other apartment Tajda herself offers. Both are located in a very convenient area. Tajda was a really great hostess: friendly, helpful and considerate. She has made me want to come back to this amazing city she loves. I recommend everyone to go to Tajda's and hang out with her! (Thanks again for all, particularly for that wonderful view in Fener).

The host was waiting for me until I arrived. My plan was 3 hours delayed. She also offered to pick me up from the bus station. Tajda, answered all my questions about sight seeing and showed landmarks to me on a map. The neighborhood is very central. The apartment has a simple set up, but my room was very clean and quiet. There are 2 room mates and I wanted more privacy, so Tajda offered me a room in another apartment of hers, close by in a very good location as well. That worked out very well for me. Tajda, is a warm, very helpful and respectful host. She speaks a couple of languages and has always great ideas about what to do. For example, I wanted to do a Dance Improvisation at a special place and she not only gave me access to an amazing roof top, but also filmed me dancing. I highly can recommend her as a host.

I had never been to Istanbul before, staying with Tajda was a perfect first stay. Tajda and her were so welcoming and invited me out; showing me the great bars along Istiklal! Everything was clean and the area was very safe. Thanks Tajda for making my trip! :)

I didn't actually stay at Tajda's place, as she had a friend over for visit. But a friend of her hosted me (just around the corner) and I got to hang out with her ouside and at her flat. Tajda is a lovely person - super friendly and communicative (in all kind of languages). We spend a great time together visiting exhibitions, walking the city, having breakfast and hanging out with her friends and ... I came as a guest and returned as a friend. Thanks for the great time!

Hi, I moved to Istanbul one year ago. I am actually from Bosnia, but I studied and lived in Austria, Turkey, and the US before. I graduated from Theater and Cultural studies and work on a film production in Istanbul. I love this city, and I can give you very good suggestions about restaurants, bars, clubs, second hand stores, and some hidden gems. If I have time, I can hang around with you to make sure you won't miss anything Istanbul has to offer. I am an easy going person who likes travelling and meeting people.
