Welcome to The "Grandma Room"! We joke that we call it that because it's close to the bathroom, but really, it may one day, be home to a beloved Grandma. This is the smallest, coziest and most popular of our three guest rooms.
Servicios y zonas comunes
Perfect for Seniors, there are just three steps down into the coolest area of the house throughout the warmest days on the island, and warmest during the few cold weeks in Alameda.
Our property has several options for relaxation and/or entertainment, inside and out for your enjoyment. Even as a "work- in-progress" the yard is a welcoming respite in between, before or after activities.
Atención a los huéspedes
Just upstairs from the guestroom, we are very available but are most respectful of our guests' privacy. Text me at (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) or yell up- yes, I said that. Please let me know what you need, IF you need anything. You should have a happy stay here.
There is an extra bathroom upstairs in case of "wee" emergencies.
Otros aspectos destacables
Full-sized fridge and laundry facilities for the convenience of long-term guests, Microwave, Toaster oven, 2-burner induction stove top, French press coffee, Electric teapot and tea, yogurt fruit and toast.
Enjoy all-natural bedding of soft cotton sheets, quilts, down pillows and duvets! We do have down-alternatives for the allergic among us, however... just ask. I also prefer to use products to launder and clean without artificial perfumes and chemicals whenever possible.
Borrow our bikes to around town or take them to the city. Just remember to lock up.
Whatever you do, though, don't ask about the "Secret Room"!
Please remember to lock the door by 10:00/ 22:00.

Please be aware we are in a critical drought state and help us conserve our precious water. There is a bucket near the tub for saving your shower warming water. We use it to water outdoor landscaping I've left out a compost can for used coffee grounds, tea bags and food leftovers under the sink and a tall blue bin for garbage and recycling by the door.

We are a family of four with a desire to put our 3 guest rooms to work.
We learn something from every guest we meet. My hope is to get to the point when there is nothing we can improve upon for the happiness and comfort of our guests.
