The location of the inn is gorgeous! Beautiful mountains, scenic meadows and little creeks nearby. Such a pretty building, too! You can really feel the history.

Awesome. We stayed in the Tavern Keeper's suite which was very comfortable and spacious. Just a shot drive to a number of wineries and other cool places. Highly recommended.

Jim and Janet were excellent hosts. I was double charged by Airbnb due to a glitch in their app verification process. Jim was so kind and contacted them on my behalf to get me a refund. Once we arrived at the property he accommodated my family and I more than he had too becuase of the double charge. Jim is history buff and can tell you all about the area. He recommended everything from antique shops, to wineries, to amazing hiking trails (crabtree falls is a must!) There is a little bit of everything in the area and if you not sure where to start Jim will point you in the right direction! Thank you for the stay, we will be back!

This is a wonderful place! Historic but extremely comfortable and welcoming. A fabulous location! The hosts are incredible: very helpful, informative and warm. Max is a terrific canine host and adds his own special touch. I highly recommend staying with Jim and Janet!

Respuesta de Jim And Janet:
Thank you, Max misses you. He will have improved his junior innkeeper skills by your next visit but it is good to see he impressed you with his puppy skills.

Jim retired from Bed Bath and Beyond's Information Technology Department after 20 years to become an Airbnb Maven, hopefully. Janet was a chemist for BASF for many years and now runs the Inn. We both work and volunteer in our local schools and are huge supporters of the Destination Imagination program.
