Originally two houses which were joined in the 18th century, the house has a long history dating back its 13th century foundations alongside a Cistercian monastery. Most recently used as a butchers shop, it is now converted into a bed and breakfast.

We have a lounge and lots of little places to sit and relax during your stay. One of our rooms has the possibility of a private lounge when we are less busy.

We are always here to help you with anything you might need during your stay. Access to the house is by key card 24 hours a day so you may come and go as you please.
Aubazine is an ancient site situated on a hill near the Coiroux river. After the abbey was built in the 12th century, soon after the area where our house is situated started to be constructed, making it the oldest part of the village.
You will really benefit from having your own transportation during your stay to explore the surroundings, but we are close to the station 4km away and the airport is 20 mins away. We can arrange to take you to and from these places if required.
Otros aspectos destacables
The house is built of the local granite from the area with thick walls that keep it cool in the hot summer as well as a fireplace during the winter.
You can't smoke in our house but of course smokers are still welcome and we provide areas with ashtrays. Animals are allowed but out of respect for us and other guests they must stay on the floor and not on the beds and furniture.
