Absolutely the perfect location in Tahoe. Deep in the beautiful Alpine Valley right on Bear Creek, with views to Squaw Valley peaks. Lovingly updated cabin. Hike, bike and swim all with in walking distance. While just a 15 minute drive to Lake Tahoe.
The house is perfect for two families (4 adults and 4 kids max), it is not set up for 8 adults.
Note: our cabin is available for rental in Spring-Fall, and occasionally during ski season.
Our cabin is located in Bear Creek, directly on the creek. The Bear Creek community is not comparable to other locations in Lake Tahoe. Secluded, with its own private summer swimming pond with sand beach (you can walk from the house). There are hiking and biking from the house, yet Tahoe City is only 15 minutes away. At the house in the summer you'll find a deck with a hot tub, stunning views of mountain peeks and the sound of the creek at just at the edge of our yard.
Our cabin was build in 1974 and the mudroom and bridge to road was added in 1995. We've done other minor renovations always trying to keep the original character of the cabin. There are 3 original bedrooms, each with a queen bed. We converted what used to be a very large laundry room into a very small 4th bedroom with built in bunk beds. There is a stackable washer dryer in this room. All the major appliances are high quality and recently updated. We've designed the cabin for our family and friends to enjoy and we are happy to share it with you. Please treat it with care and if you have young children and there are things that they might damage please take the time to put these items out of their reach and return them to where you found them at the end of your stay.

Parking - in the summer there is enough space for 3 cars on the road directly in front of the cabin. There is no driveway. In the winter when there are large accumulations of snow parking a 3rd car can sometimes be challenging.
Otros aspectos destacables
-Check out is at 10am - unless you have arranged a different check out the cleaner often will be scheduled to arrive shortly after 10.
-Please remove the linens that you used during your stay and place them on the floor near the laundry machine. The duvet covers can stay on the comforters unless you believe they have become dirty. Please start a load of laundry before you leave.
-Garbage should be taken to the dumpsters on near the end of Alpine Meadows road. Address is 270 Alpine Meadows Road. There is a map in the house manual. It is okay to leave a small bag of garbage if you need to take it out the evening before you leave and have a small amount of garbage remaining, but leaving all the garbage in the house can make the house smelly for the next guests (which often is us!).
-Please put things back in the places that you found them. Blankets, toys etc.
-Please clean dishes, or place in dishwasher and run it before you leave.
-Make sure the hot tub is turned down to 80, and the heat is turned down to 55.
No Smoking, well behaved dogs considered. Guest who wish to bring a dog must agree to the house and neighborhood rules for dogs.
The dog rules are:
Crate dogs if left alone in the house.
Keep dogs off the couch and beds.
Don’t let dogs run around the house/neighborhood alone.
Clean up after dogs around the house and anywhere in the neighborhood.
Dogs must be on-leash between 11-6 at the community pond.
We live in the bay area about 4 hours from our Tahoe Cabin and are easily reachable by phone/text or email for questions or problems but are not able to come to the property to assist guests.
