Jim was very nice and the contact was fast and always helpful, unfortunately he wasn't at Philippines when we arrived. But Suzette was such a kind host and the place was beautiful, like a little paradise. A must-do is renting one of the motor bikes for 300 Pesos because it is a cheap, easy and fun way to explore Camotes and you feel a bit like a local ;) There is a big painting of the island at the entrance of the place with advises where to go and what to do. Try to see as much as you can because it is worth it. My personal cherry on top was the bamboo weaving as the people where so amazing gentle, funny, welcoming and generous, it literally filled me with love and joy.
The whole island is exactly what I expected the Philippines to be like. I've been to Manila and Boracay before and was so disappointed of the Philippines, but when I arrived at Camotes island it was like "that is it, that's the place". Sad we only had 3 nights time to stay!
Oh, and don't book without aircon as we did. The 200 Pesos more are really worth a good sleep, it is just too hot without :D
