East Vancouver apartment close to Commercial Drive. 5 minute walk to Trout Lake and one of Vancouver's best parks. 735 square feet, with a small west-facing balcony, two bathrooms, kitchen with stainless steel appliances, 43" HD TV with Netflix, good wifi, in-suite washer / dryer, engineered hardwood floors, stone countertops in bathrooms, and Casper mattress (double/full bed). Building has a beautiful private courtyard / interior garden, with benches and west coast native plants.

I will meet you to give you the keys, and will be available by phone, text, or email. I've lived in Vancouver all my life and am happy to provide recommendations for things to do in the city.

The apartment is in the Cedar Cottage neighborhood in Vancouver. It's a five minute walk from Trout Lake, one of Vancouver's nicest parks with a great Saturday farmer's market in the summer, a small beach, tennis courts, community centre, and views of the North Shore mountains.

The Commercial Street Cafe is at the end of the block from the apartment - great for cinnamon buns and coffee.

Also down the block is a hidden old-time Portuguese restaurant that has incredible BBQ chicken on weekends (the best in Vancouver).

15 minute drive to downtown Vancouver, and 20 minute drive to Kits Beach.

Five minutes by car to Commercial Drive / Little Italy, one of Vancouver's most diverse neighborhoods, with amazing restaurants and coffee shops.

A five minute drive in the other direction is Kingsway which is packed with dozens of cheap and delicious Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian and Japanese restaurants.

It's a 15 minute walk to the Commercial-Broadway Skytrain station, which can take you downtown.

The route #20 bus stops right across the street from the apartment, and it goes downtown as well.

David's home was a delight. Exactly as the pictures showed, it felt like home and immediately encouraged relaxation. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom was pristine. I stay in this neighbourhood because it is so wonderful ... Great restaurants, funky shops, easy transit to downtown. If I lived in Vancouver again, this area would be my home!

Had a really great time at David's apt. It is really new and modern, everything you need is on hand and equally new and modern. Great access to the train or a decent 15min walk to Commercial drive and all the food or drinking spots you need. Note that it is a little further out of the city but we preferred it that way. The local Trout Lake park has so much community and activity. Even a small beach with life guards during the summer. David was very proactive in his communication and available if necessary. Great trip all round. Check out Granville island and make sure you take the drive to whistler!
