Trastevere Angels is a charming newly refurbished apartment located on the VI floor of a 19th century building with elevator and has been furnished and appointed with exquisite Italian style. Located in Trastevere , Woody Allen's movie “To Rome with love" and Julia Roberts "Eat, Pray and Love" are all set in this area of Rome, a beautiful, fascinating, old and modern at the same time area. Trastevere is in the heart of Rome, its name means "beyond the Tiber" and refers to the main river of the city. It has a special character thanks to its narrow cobbled streets lined by medieval houses. This unique character attracts artists of an kind as well as locals of every ages.
The area does not have major monuments, tour buses going all around or crowds of tourists walking around. It is a quite, relaxed part of a chaotic city. It feels like a small walkable town within a city.
It's Rome's gem. Chill and relaxing during the day , fun and crowded at night. During the day, the best thing to do is to stroll the streets, sit in a piazza, meet friends for a coffee or a gelato and just get lost in the gorgeous neighborhood.

Trastevere is in Rome centre so you can walk to most attractions
Bus line 3 to piramid and colosseum
Bus line H to Venice square and termini central station
Bus line 115 to Vatican city, it goes up to the giannicolo hill which is very nice and from where you can have a beatiful view of Rome, in case you may also stop through the ride and pick it up later again.
To Vatican city go ahead till the terminal and than take the stairs that will brings you right in front of Vatican
Tram line 8 to argentina square (close to pantheon, navona square, Venice square)

Trastevere area is full of restaurants pubs shops open till tal at night, so you can make your own chose, mind at the menu with price outside of the restaurant.

If you wish to visit the colosseum and foro Romano the ticket is the same sometime is better buy the ticket to the foro Romano to have less line.
To skip the line at the Vatican museum you can buy ticket on line
