For anyone who has never been to a static caravan before, it will be a wonderful and unique experience. What I love about my holiday home most is that it is very compact and practical, and it feels spacious and cosy at the same time. If you are used to huge Victorian rooms, high ceilings and roof top windows, you will miss that here. What you will get instead will be a pure relaxing simplicity and warm calming comfort. If you have stayed in a caravan before, you will know that feeling!
My outside space is green and wild. Trees, wild bushes and flowers with no strict borders shape my pitch. In the mornings you can hear birds singing even louder than the radio! You can take the wooden garden chairs and a table out on the decking and enjoy these wonderful sounds of nature, the wind gently playing in your hair and a cup of morning tea or coffee.
A bit about Beauport Holiday Park:
It is a caravan park set in woodland with over 700 holiday homes.
“Beauport enjoys a beautifully landscaped setting, nestled on a wooded hillside on the outskirts of Hastings. It's the perfect choice if you're looking for a relaxing break near the East Sussex coast. It is a haven of peace and tranquillity and the perfect choice if you're considering a more relaxed holiday destination.
East Sussex is a wonderful county to explore, with the contrast of beautiful rolling countryside and stunning coastlines never far away.
Once back at the park you can enjoy a range of facilities including your very own Country Club open daily for food, drinks and occasional entertainment at weekends.
Beauport Park boasts a fantastic heated outdoor swimming pool which is ideal for a quick dip any time of the holiday season.
There are 2 golf courses nearby, taking advantage of the terrific scenery and unspoilt nature. Another neighbour taking advantage of the scenery is Bannatyne Spa Hotel & Health Club, owned by the Dragon's Den favourite.
With a relaxing feel Beauport Holiday Park is the perfect place to unwind this season.”
Beauport Facilities available with an Entertainment Pass (£3.85/week; you will also need a passport-sized photo):
Outdoor Pool (10m) - OPEN FROM 4 MAY TO 27 SEPTEMBER
Free Wi-Fi in Clubhouse
Facilities of Coghurst Holiday Park (2 miles away) - an indoor swimming pool and a Bar
You DO NOT need the Entertainment pass if you only use the bar and/or laundrette.
Servicios y zonas comunes
You will have a private double room all for yourself and will be able to access everything I have really!
There is a lovely kitchen with a gas cooker, an oven, a grill, a microwave, a little fridge, a toaster, a kettle, a juicer, a steamer, all the basic cooking equipment, plates, cutlery, etc. which you are more than welcome to use. You will find some salt and cooking oil, too.
The sitting room and the dining corner are in one open plan space coming right from the kitchen. Here you can chill out and use your laptop, watch TV, DVDs (a player available but you will have to get your DVDs!) or listen to the radio. If the sofa is too small, you can always use the folding double bed (which is just underneath) to make yourself comfortable!
Furthermore, there is a decking outside and just enough space for a bistro set (which again you are very welcome to use!) or a clothes horse. A washing machine and a tumble dryer are available.
You will have a full access to other Beauport facilities mentioned above, too.
Other basic amenities available in the caravan:
*a hair dryer
*an ironing board
Atención a los huéspedes
I would like to be able to meet and greet you at the entrance of Beauport Holiday Park so I can let you in through the gate and guide you to the caravan, therefore a normal check-in time on workdays would be from 6pm.
I am more than happy to share my knowledge about Hastings and St Leonards, places to go to, nearest shops, services, etc. (I have already prepared a print-out actually!) or anything you may need to know. I am also willing to offer any reasonable practical help, stop by a shop and get some essentials for you in the evening (e.g. your favourite biscuits!) if you struggle without them! I will be around so if you need any advice or help, just ask and I will do my best to help!
Or if you need peace and quiet, just let me know.

How to get to Beauport Holiday Park:
When programming a Sat Nav please use Postcode TN37 7PJ for an easier route. At M25 junction 5 take A21 (signposted Sevenoaks, Hastings.) Follow the A21 onto the Sevenoaks Bypass (signposted Hastings.) Entering Hastings A21, turn right onto the A2100 (signposted Folkestone, Battle.) At T-junction turn left onto the A2100 (signposted Battle.) Beauport Park is on the right.
The nearest railway stations are Hastings located in the town centre of Hastings 3 ½ miles away or St Leonards Warrior Square (app. 3.4 miles away.) A taxi or bus ride would be required to reach the park. Hastings is on the Southern rail route to Ore and Ashford International from London Victoria, London Charing Cross, and Brighton.
The 26 & 26a bus stops outside the premier shop about 100 yards from the entrance of the Park. These buses run to and from Hastings Town Centre every 20 minutes Mon-Sat and every hour on a Sunday and Bank Holidays.
I am offering you a private double room for your lovely relaxing stay; all the communal areas (the kitchen, the study room, the sitting room, the dining corner, the bathroom, a separate toilet, the decking and the garden) are to be shared with me (mostly in the evenings and at the weekends as I work full-time.)
If it rains, it might get quite loud in the caravan as the roof is made of metal. If you are used to having very quiet nights, it might affect your sleep!
Beauport Holiday Park is located on the side of a hill and may not be suitable for the elderly and the infirmed. The location of my caravan is not an exception! You need to walk up the hill to get out of the Park.
As my caravan is located just off one of the main ways out, it might get busy at certain times of the day. This means less privacy on the decking and a bit more noise in the morning when people go to work (yes, some of them do!) and about 10-11am at the weekends. You should not suffer it too much as your bedroom would be at the back of the caravan, but some vehicles are a bit nosier than others while going up the hill!
I am only able to offer limited 'emergency' Wi-Fi, I am afraid!! There is free Wi-Fi at the Club House on site; however, my experience with it has been quite bittersweet! They may have improved or you might be lucky but it is worth keeping that in mind, especially if it is essential for you to have access to it.
Phone reception can be very poor here, especially when it rains or when it is windy outside.
Nearest places to eat/get food:
*Club House - a family bar on site (a 3-minute walk)
*The Harrow – Shepherd Neame pub (0.5 mile; an 11-minute walk)
*Baldslow Post Office, Premier shop (0.5 mile; an 11-minute walk)
*Sainsbury’s Supermarket and Café (0.7 mile; a 15-minute walk)
*The Windmill Brewers Fayre pub restaurant (0.8 mile, a 15-minute walk)
*McDonald's St Leonards (0.8 mile; a 16-minute walk)
*Max. two guests only at all times, please (no parties or friends over in the caravan)
*Strictly no smoking or heavy drinking in the caravan
*No pets or children allowed, sorry
*Please keep noise to a minimum before 7am and after 11pm (caravan walls are fairly thin!)
*You are very welcome to cook in the caravan; please clear up after yourself
*Please keep communal areas at least reasonably clean and tidy
*Help create friendly and cosy atmosphere at home; peaceful and respectful behaviour always pays off
*Please take your shoes off at the caravan door
*Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits are provided only
I am a friendly, peaceful and caring person who absolutely loves travelling, getting to know new beautiful people, exciting cultures, breathing fresh air and amazing experiences in! As I currently work full-time and am not able to travel as much as I would like, I thought one of the ways to still get to know new people and wander to different worlds would be by opening my holiday home doors to them – YOU!
Originally from Lithuania, I had lived in Finland and Italy before I moved up to England over 5 years ago. I am very passionate about volunteering, seeing people grow and blossom, inspiring, motivating and empowering them. I am also very interested in personal development, physical and mental health, psychology, and learning Italian when I am not too busy or lazy!
These are 5 things I cannot live without:
*challenges and constant learning
*my caravan, of course!
It is probably worth mentioning that I do not eat red or white meat (except for fish) but I do not mind you keeping and/or cooking meat in the caravan, as long as it is not a steak every night! :)
I would like you to enjoy your holiday in my caravan, and I will do my best to make sure you are well looked after. As my motto says: “If you can’t be a good example, then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.” :)
