A spacious but cozy apartment in the center of Palermo, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. With plenty of transportation options nearby, you can easily explore everything the city has to offer.
Looking for a comfortable and inspiring home away from home? Tired of the sleek, cold black-and-white apartments available in Buenos Aires? This cozy studio apartment—with its warm walls, natural wood furniture and homey touches—feels like a cabin in the city! Owned by an American writer, it was created as a sweet oasis just three blocks from the bustling Plaza Armenia. Bonus: you're just four blocks from shared workspaces that offer conference rooms and other amenities for independent professionals. This apartment is ideal for those who want to spend time being creative in Buenos Aires AND connect with other creatives.

I'm an American writer and artist now delighting in the color and vibrancy of Mexico after finishing a four-year stint in China ( I had a wonderful role as the private English tutor for the child of that country's most famous billionaire.) My husband (Tom) and I met as English teachers in rural Japan 30 years ago and after returning to the U.S., we built businesses and raised children in the Portland, Oregon area. In 2005, we sold everything there and with two of our four teenage daughters in tow, moved to Mazatlan, Mexico. That "starter year" was followed by three years in Buenos Aires, Argentina (where I wrote my book, THE NEW GLOBAL STUDENT) a year on a farm in rural Uruguay, extensive travel in Asia and the two jobs (Beijing, Hangzhou) in China. Now we're back in the Americas to explore our options in various countries. This studio apartment in BA is our own little getaway in a city we love. I hope you enjoy it! ;-)
