2 Bedroom Heritage Character Conversion Condo

Your two bedroom 2 level condo in one of Victoria’s heritage character homes is located in the trendy and vibrant Cook Street Village neighbourhood. Bedrooms are on a lower level. The large deck and main floor (kitchen/living room) are on the upper level above the parking area. Less than 5 minutes to the Dallas Road waterfront and Beacon Hill Park and only a 10 – 15 minute walk from the Inner Harbour, Royal B.C. Museum, Provincial Legislative buildings downtown shopping and other attractions.
The Pendergast Condo has modern conveniences, with a gourmet kitchen, a gas range, stainless steel appliances, Samsung Smart TV with internet stream programming, (no cable service) and hardwood flooring. All utensils are provided. Covered parking for one passenger vehicle ( 6 feet clearance) is also provided.
Unfortunately the unit is not wheelchair accessible and those challenged by stairs may find the lower level bedrooms undesirable. Unsuitable for children under 12 years of age.
The living / dining room area with comfortable furnishings has an LED Smart TV with internet programming. A half bathroom and laundry area with washer and dryer are adjacent. Wi-Fi is available throughout. Enjoy your morning coffee or tea on the large patio among planters of herbs and flowering plants. (help yourself to the herbs). The patio is equipped with a gas BBQ should you wish to grill your favourite dish.
The two bedrooms are located on the lower floor. The master bedroom features a queen size bed with access to a private patio area. The second bedroom has twin beds. The main bathroom has a soaker tub with shower.
Parking is provided for one passenger vehicles. Motorhomes, boats, trailers, and other recreational vehicles are not permitted on the condo property.

The patio / deck of the condo including the gas BBQ are yours to enjoy. You will be in a perfect location whether for vacation or on business. Cook Street offers coffee shops, restaurants, grocery shopping, personal services, and a pub and liquor store.
The Dallas Road waterfront walkway, the Inner Harbour, Royal BC Museum, Provincial Legislative buildings, and Victoria Conference Centre are all within a 10 - 15 minute walk. The downtown shopping district begins at the Inner Harbour. Beacon Hill Park is only a block away.

Your hosts live nearby and are available with just a phone call or text should you have any questions or need any assistance or information.

Only a 10 - 15 minute walk to the tourist sites and activities of Victoria. The Cook Street Village offers anything you may need. This trendy and vibrant neighbourhood has coffee shops, pizza places, restaurants, grocery and convenience stores, a liquor store, a pub, many personal services and other retailers.

There is frequent and regular public transit service on Cook Street, (only a block away). Taxi services are available and if you need to rent a vehicle there are car rental outlets nearby. Victoria is "bicycle friendly" and motor scooters and bicycle rentals are available at the Victoria Conference Centre near the Inner Harbour. Access to the Island highways is easy and direct if you want to explore Vancouver Island outside of Victoria.

RULES OF THE PENDERGAST CONDO

The few rules that we state are common sense, logical, and probably reflect your own values. They are not difficult to comply with. Please respect and use the property as you would your own home, including respect and consideration of your neighbours.

1.QUIET TIME is from 10:00PM to 7:00AM. Please be considerate of your neighbours and no loud music, shouting, laundry, or other disturbances during these hours.
PLEASE DO NOT OPERATE WASHER OR DRYER AFTER 10:00PM

2. TELEVISION - if watching cable TV is an important part of your vacation experience the Pendergast Condo may not be for you. There is NO CABLE TV.
TV service is provided through Samsung TV Smart Hub internet 'apps' and many popular services such as Netflix, HBO, , YouTube, Tune-In, CTV2go, and others are available. Some sports programming, such as curling, may not be available.

3.PARKING is provided for one passenger vehicle in stall #2 under the patio deck. Clearance under the deck is limited to 6 feet (2 meters). Do not park in the other parking areas. No motor homes, boats, trailers, or other RV’s are permitted on the property. Additional on-street parking may be available in the area.

4.NO SMOKING inside the condo. Other guests after you may be sensitive to tobacco. Smoking is permitted outside on the patio deck.

5.When you leave, please ensure that you have turned OFF the gas controls on the range and all water taps. It would be appreciated if you would also turn thermostats to 15 or lower.

Clean, quiet, spacious, and modern unit, located in the heart of Cook St. Village. Friendly and communicative hosts. My family (4) would definitely book again and recommend to friends.

Heather and Kane were great hosts. Right from the start they were flexible with meeting us at the house when our schedule changed. They both came and gave us the tour and were open to giving their own idea about things to do. The house was beautiful and very well equipped, even a washer and dryer. The two bedrooms were spacious as well. Cook Street neighbourhood was a great little local area and we stayed around there for a couple of meals but the house is also a short stroll into town or the sea wall. Over all I would highly recommend Heather and Kane's place!

My dad and I needed a home away from home for the holiday, and Kane and Heather's Pendergast condo was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Everything exactly as described and in good working order. Location conveniently nestled between Beacon Hill Park (nice walking trails) and Cook Street Village (tasty restaurants and cafes). Kane and Heather were very welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. Thanks for hosting us.

Awesome place to call home base in Victoria! We walked everywhere from this clean little spot. Located near Cook street every thing you need is less then 2 blocks away, and downtown is only a 15min walk away. Kitchen is great, living space is nice, and the beds are comfortable. I will be staying here when ever I stay in Victoria.
