Two story with wood beam ceilings, gas fireplace, and comfy beds. 2 mile to Heavenly, 3 miles to nightlife/casinos, and 1.5 to the lake. Bijou park and meadow trails are right next to the neighborhood! Bike trails go everywhere and strolls through the meadow are great for all. The house is in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by woods, meadows, a park, and bike trails right behind the house. Holiday times will have 3 - 7 night minimums that we cannot program into the calendar, so please ask.
Home has a California King bedroom on the top floor with a bathroom and a very comfortable futon in the loft at the top of the stairs. There is a large great room living/dining area with two more bedrooms and a bath downstairs. Another entry door from the carport leads to the laundry room where the washer & dryer are available for your use. We leave some detergent you can use. There is table and four chairs in the back yard and lounge chairs and side tables for the front deck to enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun set on the mountains. Please watch out for sap from the trees! There is a 46" flat screen TV in the living area and books, games, and puzzles for your enjoyment. The kitchen is stocked with basics (dishes, spices, coffee maker and filters, etc) but there is no dishwasher until we renovate. We provide linens, cleaning products, and towels (not beach towels, bring your own please). Each bedroom has an extra old blanket in the closet - we call these "dog" blankets so if your dogs get on furniture or beds at home, please use them so the dogs don't dirty the sofas and bedding- these blankets are not washed after each guest. The house has TV cable & Broadband wifi and the code is in the guest binder. Dining table seats eight and there are three more stools for the island. A gas barbecue is on the side deck, just outside kitchen.

There is a lockbox at the front door for use with your self-check in code. All this information is located in the guest resources section after you have confirmed your reservation. We strongly recommend you leave that key in the lockbox as there is another for your use just inside the door. We have three owner closets - one in the master bedroom, one in the laundry room, and the downstairs hall where we lock our personal items. Everything else is open and for you to use.

Brad and I have been married 22 years and have no children. We love dogs and provide foster care for the Sacramento City Animal Shelter. Brad is in real estate and I run a non-profit promoting recycling and waste reduction. We love to travel and love people so this seemed like a match for us to host travelers with or without dogs. We know how hard it is to find a great place to stay with your dog! We live and let live, are easy going, fun loving people who love natures and want to share the amazing Lake Tahoe with others as well as a little of the 1970's when we grew up and have fond memories of that decade!
