requestsing a copy of ID's is standard practice in hotels and apartments. We are a professionally run apartment and we have several in the Buckhead area as well as internationally. If you dont trust us with your ID, you should not trust to stay in our apartments. We also will not trust to give you an apartment. Our check -in instructions is sent to guests so they can have a seemless check in and stay in our locations. It is not our fault when a guest does not read or does not follow the instructions. In the case of this guest, she was advised to call an hour to arrival as we are not a hotel with a check in guest. This is stated in the instructions. We also sent an email advising her of the same, on the date of check in. None of these were acknowledged or complied with. They basically just showed up and sat at the guests lounge. My assistant called to find out when they were arriving and they said they were already downstairs. She was actually at the unit waiting and had to come down to get them. So no, she was not late, guests simply did not read or ignored instructions. Photographs of ID'sare taken from every guest. They are deleted after check out. We use that to verify payment and to know those who have been legally permitted to be in the apartment. Our head lease requires that we have ID's pf all our occupants. In terms of location, you cannot get better than Buckhead. Value, getting a modern two bed two bath in Buckhead for $150 is very cheap. We were actually running a promotion to cover a few open days. My assistant said, anytime we run these promotions, we attract guests who never appreciate value. We operate the most price competitive apartment in Buckhead, value to value. We have not skimped in setting up this apartment.
