This Victorian Style Home, now the Villa Anna Bed and Breakfast, was built in 1857 and was once the residence of the Mayor of Philadelphia over 100 years ago!

This large and beautiful second floor private room, a.k.a. the "Historic King 1", features the following:

King Size bed, 4 huge bay windows, 39" flat screen HD cable TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the house, a window air conditioner, gas heat, alarm clock, CD player/radio, Keurig coffee/tea maker with coffee and tea, in-room bottled water, fresh linens, extra towels, extra blanket, desk & chair, loveseat, closet, bathrobes, room darkening shades, and many other extra in-room amenities to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable.
The full bathroom for this room, which could be shared, is located in the hall just a few steps from your room.

As our B&B guest, you have additional access to the following areas of our home:

We are located in the very historic West Germantown section of the city just minutes from the Chestnut Hill and Manayunk areas which offer great shopping and trendy restaurants.

The University of Pennsylvania, Temple, LaSalle, Philadelphia University and Chestnut Hill College and others are all located just minutes away!

The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Barnes Foundation, Boat House Row, and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway are located just 15 minutes from our home and the Historic District of Philadelphia is just 20 minutes away.

I will be happy to help my guests to understand the city and the transportation. I offer several menues of restaurants in the area and take out menues as well.

The beautiful Wissahickon Valley Park with it's lovely nature trails, creek, jogging/biking trails and wooden-covered bridges is less then 1 mile from our home.

SEPTA is the regional public transportation company that services the Philadelphia area.

SEPTA's regional train that services the neighborhood is called the Chestnut Hill West Line and the local train station (Tulpehocken Station) is located just 3 blocks from our home. This train will take you downtown to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and Historic District in about 20 minutes.

SEPTA's Route 23 Bus stops 1 block from the B&B and takes you to Chestnut Hill in 5 minutes. This bus also takes you downtown to the Convention Center in Center City and the Historic District in about 35 minutes.

We offer a private discounted Airport pick up and return service for $40 each way from your airport terminal directly to the BnB. (Taxi fare one-way is $50-$55 with tip) Simply provide us with your flight details and we will be waiting for you at the airport when you arrive! Please let us know in advance if you would like to schedule this service.

*Do NOT park in the driveway of our house, you will block the tenants who live in the carriage house from accessing the street.

Our pet policy is as follows:
$10 per day/per pet plus a $25 cleaning fee. These fees can be paid directly to us after you check-in.
