Thank you so much for a kind thorough review. It was a pleasure hosting you!
I truly apologize for making you uncomfortable in any way. Your concerns are duly noted and appreciated.
Let me just try to explain the house dynamics. The large laundry machines are heavily used, yet every guest has easy access, because the loads move through the system promptly, for everyone’s convenience. If a guest is out of the house having fun, their laundry will be folded when next guest needs the dryer. Folding is a courtesy. If someone threw the dry or wet laundry on top of the machines, like in the apartment building, they would lose the laundry privileges and go to the nearest laundromat for the rest of their stay. We are a family living in one house.
Professional cleaning ladies come regularly, and they make beds and pick up clothes from the floor, in addition to thorough cleaning. They do it for guest’s safety and house decorum.
I sincerely and profusely apologize for the last day’s mix-up! It got stuck erroneously in my head that you would be fully packed before leaving for work, and only needed to pick up luggage after work before driving to another city. That happened dozens of times previously. With cleaning ladies coming any minute, I went upstairs and realized that this was not the case.
Thank you for staying with me, Joey, and I’ll try to be a better host!
