The apartment is spacious (133m2 40% larger than average 2 bedroom apartments) with beautiful ocean and Main Beach views, as well the unit has the best view of the GC600 V8 Super cars track. This unit is right inside the track and is in the most sought after building for race viewing and accommodation. The view right on Coopers corner from the 20th floor is the best. High quality finishes throughout this fully ducted air conditioned apartment and a great kitchen with all new Italian stainless steel Appliances if you choose to eat in including a commercial grade barbecue on the balcony. Complimentary premium Foxtel package included with two independent separate outlets in the lounge and main bedroom. For those who need their coffee hit a top of the range Nespresso machine and boutique quality T2 tea supplied for your stay. This is not your average holiday apartment, no expense has been spared on quality with fittings, Appliances and amenities plus all the trimmings to make it feel like home. This apartment is a one off and unique in the holiday rental market.

Guests will love the large outside pool and jacuzzi and heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. The buildings gym facility is equipped with new Life Fitness equipment. The championship north south tennis court is available for guests and will impress any tennis enthusiast. A full sized billiard table is also available.
A private marina berth is available at extra cost on request.

Main Beach is an island like suburb just north of Surfers Paradise. Easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes, local Surf Club and Yacht Club. Up market shopping at Marina Mirage and Tedder Ave. A short 5 minute drive to SeaWorld, and only 3 stops on the GLink light rail to the bright lights of Surfers Paradise. The Gold Coast Convention Centre and Jupiters Casino is also accessible via the GLink light rail and is a short 15 minute journey from Main Beach.

MAIN BEACH, GOLD COAST

While other suburbs snatch their names from exotic Aboriginal meanings or English seaside villages, Main Beach is far more literal. Situated at the northern end of the Gold Coast, Main Beach was so named as it was the main surf beach to the town of Southport. But while its name may be obvious, its hidden gems are far more exciting for this is one of the coast's areas which celebrates something old and something new in style.

A highlight of a visit here is to the beach itself, where the old bathing pavilion, Pavilion 34 to be precise, has been reincarnated as a casual beach café complete with chikko rolls, potato scallops, pineapple fritters and fish and chips. The old male and female change pavilions are still here and there's loads of retro photos to remind you of the Main Beach of old. This bathing pavilion sits next to the Southport Surf Club, the first to make its mark on the Gold Coast in 1936 and right next to a sprawling shady park which is perfect for oceanfront picnics.

Away from the beach - popular with surfers due to its open shore break - toddle down to Tedder Avenue. Sassy socialites and salty surfies rub shoulders here in this strip of modern cafes, exclusive restaurants, bars and boutiques. For more shopping and style, take a wander towards the Southport Spit – or simply The Spit - to locals.

Along the Gold Coast Broadwater opposite Southport, you'll encounter high-end hotels such as Palazzo Versace and exclusive shopping at Marina Mirage. The Southport Yacht Club also sits here and services the beautiful boats which dot these waters. Still further along this slither of land you'll find the iconic theme park Sea World. Continue a bit further along and you'll end up at The Spit and the entrance to the Gold Coast Seaway. The true beauty of Main Beach is that it's where the fish and chip set mix with the bold and beautiful in that true Aussie spirit of egalitarianism.


GOLD COAST FISHERMENS CO-OPERATIVE LIMITED

Established in 1970, the Gold Coast Fishermen's Co-Operative was one of the first developments on the Spit at Main Beach.

The fishing fleet consists of Prawn Trawlers, Tuna Long Liners and a Spanner Crab vessel, which all operate in the pristine waters off the Gold Coast. These vessels return to port most days loaded with the freshest seafood available for sale direct from the boat, often by the person who caught it.

The complex consists of floating pontoons, which enables buyers to access the vessels direct to purchase fresh seafood, at extremely affordable prices.

They have been operating this retail venture since 2006 and offer their customers the 'freshest catch' possible. All product sold is caught directly by the vessels. They are open from 7.00 a.m. until sold out, making mornings a preferred time to visit them.

They welcome locals and tourists alike and are keen to share knowledge of their fishing operations and seafood with you.

Come on down and have a chat and enjoy the freshest seafood they have to offer.

We have a strict no smoking policy in the apartment and on the balcony. We also have a strict no party policy. Other house rules are in line with the by laws of the building which will be provided at check in.
Rubbish is expected to be removed and the unit is to be left substantially in the same condition it was in on entry. Cleaning fees will apply if carpet or furnishings need special treatment to clean. Breakages will be charged for.

We had a wonderful week staying at Cameron and Terri's apartment at the Contessa. It is just as beautiful and perfectly located as it is described, and was really a home away from home for us. The little touches such as the welcome basket of edible goodies, the beach equipment/toys, kids DVDs, beach towels, (even a GHD!) and much more, made it so easy to holiday without any stress or having to make extra purchases. Having a portacot and high chair available was also really helpful! It's a very spacious and well appointed apartment, with really comfy couches and a huge TV. We will definitely be back again sometime to enjoy the views, and all that Main Beach has to offer. Thanks again!

A beautiful apartment within close proximity to all amenities. The host made the process of checking in very easy and the nice unexpected touches such as biscuits, fruit, etc., made us feel very warm and welcomed. The views were spectacular and the apartment was presented extremely professionally and as the photo's suggested. Highly recommended

What a great week it was at Cameron and Terri's apartment. The views, the cleanliness, the abundance of products left for us to really make the most of our stay was all here. This place is definitely not to be missed. We had a ball and can't wait to come back. My only issue is we didn't get to spend longer here! Thanks Guys

The apartment was fantastic and had everything our little family needed. Cameron and Terri had thought of every detail to ensure our stay was enjoyable and it really was from the milk in our fridge on arrival, tea and coffee, boggie boards, beach buckets and spades for the kids...all those little details really do make a difference. The location was superb, just walking distance to the beach and the great restaurants on Tedder Ave. Terri and Cameron were wonderful hosts and we would highly recommend this appartment and we'll definately be back!

Look no further than this property! Excellent wrap around balconies and the views were spectacular (better than pictured). The location is only two blocks from the Cafés/Restaurants of Tedder Avenue and to Main Beach. The location is also walking distance to vibrant Surfers Paradise. The large bedrooms are extremely comfortable. The kitchen/living areas are expansive and we enjoyed the large pool/facilities on site. Thank-you Cameron & Terri for the complimentary bubbly on our New Years stay. We would definitely love to stay again.

Cameron and Terri were fabulous hosts and very helpful, they stored luggage for us before our check in time and also allowed us a late check out so we could have an extra day at the beach. The apartment is gorgeous and has beautiful views. We loved being so close to the beach and to Tedder avenue which has awesome shops and restaurants. I feel our hosts went above and beyond for us, they supplied us with a beach umbrella, endless amounts of nespresso and even asked what milk we preferred! We are definitely coming back.
