Help yourself to our organic garden. Hours of kid enjoyment with a trapeze, trampoline and rope ladder in the basement.

El alojamiento

Feel like part of the family in our sweet little cottage from the 1930's. This is our family home where we reside, unless we are traveling. Every room is filled
with large windows and gets amazing light. The guest room has a sofa couch that makes out into a sofa bed. Your children don't have to pack any toys. The kids room comes stocked with toys, a train table, book shelf and a hand crafted twin bunk bed made with lot's of love!
The bedroom that is next to the bathroom is a bright sunny yellow with black furnishings. Lots of natural light and optimism for those rainy Portland winters.
There is a large back yard with an herb and vegetable garden in the front and back yard. Help
yourself to seasonal fruits and vegetables from the garden. The unfinished part of the basement has our children's additional play room, which includes gymnastic mats with trampoline, pogo stick, rope ladder and trapeze. The finished part of the basement has a large room with a full
size bed, a couch and is also the children's playroom.
Friendly neighbors on each side with a quiet street atmosphere.
Tons of restaurants and services just three blocks north of our house.
A short walk to Reed Canyon Wildlife Preserve or the Johnson Creek Trail.

Jodie's place was the absolute perfect location for us (taking our daughter back to Reed College for soph year). It was within easy walking distance of Safeway, great coffee, a couple of cute restaurants. The online photos represent it exactly. A very comfortable house.

We had a great, clean place to stay. We came down for our sons anniversary party and the house was close to the venue. Even though we were mostly there just to sleep and shower since lots of family was in town, it was nice to come to a clean home.

We had a great stay at this cute kid-friendly woodstock cottage. We had a large party - 6 adults(URL HIDDEN)year old, and a 15 month old and we all fit comfortably. Even with only one bathroom, we managed to coordinate perfectly and there were no problems. The house was actually bigger and more comfortable than I thought for our large group. The kids had lots of fun with the toys! And the neighborhood was great - walking distance to a wonderful pastry, sandwich, and coffee shop - Grand central Baking Company. We also appreciated being close to the New Seasons natural food store. And we enjoyed some delicious golden raspberries in the backyard. Would definitely recommend this place!

We slept 8 people here for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. Comfortable, quiet and central a/c (we were here during a heatwave). Easy to get to. Close to Reed College. Check-in/check-out were easy! Thank you!

We had a great time! The house felt very homy - and full of attractions for kids (in the kids' room, in the basement, in the back yard). The neighborhood is relaxed and very family-oriented. Woodstock st. has many good food and coffee options. and finally - Jodie was very welcoming and responsive. We were a group of 9 people. 2 pairs of adults in 2 separate bedrooms and 5 kids who chose to sleep together in one room (even though there was more space in the lovely room in the basement).

This house is fine for a smaller group of people, not for 9, which was the case for my reservation. The house was in a lovely neighborhood, and close to restaurants and supermarkets, etc. However, there was not enough dishes, silverware, or beds for everyone to be comfortable, despite the host insisting this would be an appropriate space. Things could have been cleaner (no one should sleep in a musty basement), and it is currently under a bit of remodeling, so hopefully the host can make adjustments to make this a more desirable destination.
