Entire house is yours

Yes, though your solitude is part of what I offer

Very rural yet 10 minutes from local restaurants and entertainment, and less than 30 minutes from Brattleboro and ski resorts.
Brattleboro is our metropolis, with historic movie theater, many restaurants, book stores, museum, Sam's Outdoor Store you can get lost in, and more.

No public transportation, one needs a car in this part of Vermont. In winter, all-wheel drive or front wheel drive with snow tires is recommended.

If concerns, let me know.

Lynn's home is beautiful and so is the location. The house was great for a ski trip to Stratton with a few friends. We had everything we needed and the home is exactly as described. I would definitely recommend Lynn's place.

Such a wonderful weekend! The house was beautiful, along with the property. It was very well maintained & exceeded our expectations. Lynn was very prompt and informative with any inquiries that I had. This was the ideal "wintery" setting which I was looking for! Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious, open concept home. Warm, comfortable with a great kitchen and dining area which allowed for cooking and hanging out. Nice hiking areas and clear instructions made our stay stressfree and enjoyable.

Lynn's house is the perfect retreat in the Vermont woods. We stayed there when temperatures were near-zero outside, and were cozy and warm with the wood stoves going. Can't recommend enough!

Lynn's place was amazing. My husband, dog and I enjoyed our stay very much. The place was secluded, quiet and peaceful. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a complete get away with modern amenities, this is the place to be. Lynn was so nice and left us great notes about how to use the fire place and other equipment in the house along with some local maple syrup. On our last day a snow storm came in and she offered to let us stay one more night on her as she was concerned for our safety. Highly recommend this gem!

Terrific! We really enjoyed our stay here. The bed was very comfortable and the freestanding tub in the large bedroom was a wonderful luxury. Lots of nice touches, including candles and towels by the tub.

Love country life--now I get to share this life. Surrounded by the elements, the quiet, the beauty, as one guest said, "I can hear myself think here." I agree with her. After four years, I am restored, connected--and really hate to leave this place for just about any reason other than visiting those I love.
Necessities have changed--now I use a tractor, live with chickens, heat with wood. I love to hike, yet my miles have decreased as I spend time bringing in wood for the next season. I like it this way....though only growing a few vegetables as I have a day job, I relish putting up dried apples, harvesting wild plants for fun special meals, and knowing the farmers from whom I buy produce and meat.
And, when eight years old on my first camping trip, I immediately aspired to be a park ranger when I grew up. Now I am that park ranger, acting as naturalist, caretaker, and protector for these forests and animals.
Today I host others, and witness their easier breathing, delight in changing skies, awe when hearing hooting owls. My park ranger persona sighs with satisfaction. And, my guests get to shop at the local farm stand for truly local food. They have the opportunity to soak in the large cast iron tub, gazing into the forest--another life passion, I have put soaking tubs in every home.
A soaking tub and immersion in nature--that about sums me up.
Sounds corny but I find this true--a joy shared is a joy doubled.
Here is one of my life mottos that has not yet failed me--why bother unless it's fun?
