The apartment is available for a minimum stay of one month.

This beautiful and bright, 1200 sq ft condo with designer furniture and utilities can be your home away from home. The 800 sq ft rooftop attached to the condo is the perfect place to relax after a long day of New York adventures with amazing views of the Brooklyn/Manhattan Skyline and East River. The layout is practical with the living room/kitchen area as the center, and the 2 bedrooms/2 baths surrounding for extra privacy.

The condo is situated in a small boutique building, with friendly doormen, reception area, Fresh Direct option, and elevators. It is right across from the East River State Park, which overlooks the Manhattan Skyline, including the Empire State, Chrysler and UN Buildings.

The apartment has a large screen with Apple TV (no cable) with the opportunity for renters to access their iTunes and Netflix accounts, as well as a SONOS Hifi system. There is free WiFi, filtered/alkanized water in faucets and showers, well-stocked chef's kitchen with new appliances for cooking, huge barbecue grill on the rooftop, and ample closet space in the rooms.

The master bedroom is equipped with a custom made king-sized Auping bed and the guest/kid bedroom has a large bunkbed (fit for adults) with organic mattresses. There is an extra daybed, which can be set-up in the living room if in need of more sleeping space (for either two single beds or one double).

Parking is free on the sidewalk and fairly easy to obtain in front of the building. Bike rentals are across the street and one block down. Everything you need (supermarkets, pharmacies, stores, bars, restaurants, bakeries, playgrounds, parks, entertainment) is really within walking distance!

(North) Williamsburg has quickly turned into the most desirable area in Brooklyn, with endless possibilities for eating, drinking, shopping, partying, and people watching. It is especially famous for its large number of music venues, galleries, and hipster events. You are right across from the famous Smorgasburg and Brooklyn Flea Markets during the Spring-Fall period, and the new Wythe Ave hotel/entertainment development with Brooklyn Bowl and Brooklyn Breweries. However, it is still quiet right on our street so you will sleep well!

There's never a dull moment here, and yet it is much less loud and stressful than Manhattan, with tree-lined streets and small families living amongst old Polish and Hispanic immigrants, hipsters, and artists.

The East River Ferry runs 2 blocks away, and the L train is a four minute walk away, so you'll be in the middle of Manhattan in five minutes.

the L train on the subway is 4 small blocks away, the East River Ferry is 2-3 blocks away, buses are outside the door on and 3 blocks away, and there are plenty of car services. Two Zip-car options are 3 or 5 blocks away, respectively.

Our stay here was absolutely phenomenal! We stayed for just over two months, and we LOVED every minute of it. From the moment we made the booking Sophie was incredibly responsive, warm and helpful. The apartment is stunning, it has everything you need and more. The rooftop is out of this world. Highly recommend watching the sunset up there, the most beautiful sunset across the river looking out to Manhattan. Oooh and the beds are heavenly! You couldn't ask for a better location. Directly across from the lovely East River park, right on the water.. with a yummy coffee shop literally on your doorstep. This neighborhood has such a safe, family friendly vibe whilst feeling very hip and current. Close enough to walk to everything, but you feel just far enough away to be out of the hustle. Just a few blocks away from the awesome Bedford Ave. We never needed to catch a cab or uber, we walked everywhere! And if you love your coffee and baked goods we HIGHLY recommend Bakeri, just one block away on Wythe Ave - we are already having withdrawals!! Fyi.. We unexpectedly found ourselves in Brooklyn for the husbands work, and being 8.5 months pregnant and now randomly having our child in a different state, Sophie was soooooo accommodating - providing a change table, diaper genie, baby blankets and incredibly helpful suggestions for midwives, doulas etc. The acupuncturist she recommend actually helped speed my labor up! Sophie went above and beyond for us, certainly unlike any Airbnb experience we have had. This apartment hold such precious memories for us, we will for sure be back again some day. Do not hesitate with this it NOW!! :)

My family stayed for 5 weeks this summer and the condo was just perfect! It is everything as described in the listing and more. The condo has everything we needed, was super comfortable, and had the beautiful rooftop patio with killer view of Manhattan where the Macy's July 4th fireworks were displayed practically right in front of the condo! Sophie was very responsive to any questions we had and provided ample space for all of our stuff. She's a wonderful host who welcomed us into her home and provided us with so much helpful information. The condo is very clean and has all the high end appliances and furnishings. We had to travel to Manhattan every day for my daughter's summer program and the subway is only 4 short blocks away. It took us less than 20 min door-to-door to get to her program in Union Square! The condo is also in Williamsburg area which is a very vibrant, hip and upscaled neighborhood. We never felt unsafe even when we came home late around midnight after shows and dinner. The East River Ferry is only 2 short blocks away and we took that often on the weekends for sightseeing. There's also cafes and restaurants galore, not to mention the Smorgasburg (think tons of food trucks) every Saturday! We loved the convenience of having everything so close by. We miss the condo already and would definitely be back given any opportunity!

Everything about this house and his host is even better than we expected and even better than anyone could wish for! The location is beautiful: close to the East River, nice streets, shops, coffeeplaces, restaurants, rooftop bars, trees, parcs... Williamsburg is alive and kicking. But it's also peaceful & calm and very tranquil. Just one Subway stop and you're in Manhattan, or take the Ferry to Midtown or the financial district. And the views of Manhattan are magical. Then the apartment: wow. As soon as you enter the apartment (after being welcomed by the doorman) you feel at home. Very tasteful decoration, very European, clean, nice chairs, beautiful walls and large windows overlooking the Williamsburg bridge. The beds are very very good, we slept like crazy, there's no noice in the evening. We had plenty of space for working, cooking (everything you need is here and even more) and relaxing. The bathrooms are also nice and the shower is warm & good! The rooftop is a dream: also very wel furnished and perfect for a nice coffee on the bench in the evening (great views over The East River), reading on the lounge set or eating at the table. The views to Manhattan from up there will surprise you each time you look. It's actually very addictive. Sophie & David, the hosts, are very kind, they really want you to feel at home and that's exactly how we felt. They are relaxed and very friendly. They even bought us a few beers for our arrival! We were allowed to use everything in the apartment and they even arranged a guide of the city. We would definitely recommend this place highly and we really want to come back someday. Thank you for sharing, Sophie & David. We fell in love with your home.

We are a family with a ten month old daughter and we spent five weeks in April 2013 at this wonderful apartment. The location is perfect for both nighlife, family activities, and exploring New York. The apartment itself was far nicer than we could've ever imagined. The only problem with the apartment is that it is so nice that you are half way torn between staying in and going out. One day, we hope to be back!! The place - the place is just beautiful, it looks like it is straight out of a design magazine! Lots of space with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, ageless Scandinavian and American design everywhere and lots of natural wood. The place is not just beautiful, everything also works as it should. Sophie and David were very kind to leave us a baby bed and even toys for our little daughter. To top it all off, there's a huge roof terrace with a beautiful view over Manhattan and Williamsburg. We had many lovely breakfasts and barbeques on the roof terrace. There's even a large foam mat for children and our 10 month old baby daughter loved roaming around the terrace and learning to stand up while watching views over New York. The area - wow, there's so much to do that we only scratched the surface. Northside Williamsburg is famous for mucic, bars, hipsters, design, movies, art, phtography, cafes, second hand shops, flea markets and everything cool, but it really is perfect for families as well with parks, play centers, and cafes. Even the most popular places like Egg are very accommodating for babies. There's a great bakery two blocks off and a recently opened harvest market three blocks away. On spring/summer/fall Sundays, there's Brooklyn flea market just just accross the street, and on Saturday's, the same place hosts the food market. McCarren park with the great outdoor swimming pool is just a few blocks away, Brooklyn brewery and Brooklyn bowl four blocks away. The list of bars, shops, restaurants and cafes could go on forever. The connections - the apartment is 3-4 blocks from Bedford subway station and one stop from Manhattan. From door to door, you're on Union Square in 15 minutes. The East River Ferry, which leaves two blocks from the apartment, will take you to mid-town or downtown in 15 minutes. Manhattan is so close that we sometimes jogged there on our morning run. There's also a biking route in front of the house. The people - Last but not least, the hosts really made our stay perfect. Sophie and David are just wonderful, easy-going and caring people who helped us out with everything. We were really lucky to run accross such wonderful people. If I really think about it, I would probably not choose any other apartment or location in New York over this place. We were really fortunate to spend a lovely spring here. Thank you for everything.

We are a Danish/American family, who moved from Copenhagen, Denmark to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2008, into a brand new boutique building on the East River bank. We absolutely love the vibrant, always changing Williamsburg area, catered to both young professionals and small families, the mix of city and green, and its location to the water and Manhattan. David is a CEO and advisor for startups and growth businesses, and I run a holistic health and nutrition clinic. We have a wonderful daughter from 2009, and a son from 2013, both born in New York City, and both true New Yorkers in spirit! We are seasoned Airbnb users, always checking other places for our destinations around the world. During our travels, we love to share our space with other families and individuals, who are looking for that special home away from home while experiencing the greatest city in the world!
