Come stay in the charming neighborhood of Bernal Heights, within walking distance of the Mission District and only 20 minutes away from downtown via public transportation. From our deck, you will see the famous "Hill," which offers a panoramic view of the entire city and only a 6 minute walk from our home.
You will have unlimited free off-street parking (no permit required) and easy access to public transportation.
Your room is furnished with a very comfortable queen size bed which basks in the wonderful and yummy afternoon sun. New Acacia hardwood floors, a large walk-in closet and custom made diamond light bay windows typical of Edwardian homes highlights this room.
Your private bathroom is located next to your bedroom.
Our home is a wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, well-maintained Edwardian house (not an apartment), on a safe and quiet street. Our home has a lovely healing and spiritual vibration and we take pride in its calm and peaceful energy.
We have a deck overlooking the bay, a large kitchen with a sunny nook, and a living room with a working fireplace.
Our neighborhood is full of cafes, restaurants, yoga studios, a bookstore, library, a wine bar, bakery, parks, and pleasant hikes with sweeping views of San Francisco. There is permit-free off street parking available; just be mindful of street cleaning signs to avoid parking tickets.
We are 2 to 3 blocks away from major bus lines. You can also take a 7-minute bus ride to the train station (BART) or walk there in just 15 minutes while exploring the neighborhoods of Bernal Heights and the Mission District.
We are a lesbian couple and welcome queer and straight folks from everywhere! :-)!

You will have access to the entire kitchen with full amenities, the deck and the living room. Kitchen hours are 8:30 to 10:30am and again in the evenings from 7 to 9:30pm. A dedicated shelf in the refrigerator is available for you to store your food and counter space for your dry goods.
You'll also find a guidebook in your room filled with information about transportation, local sites, and menus from nearby cafes and restaurants.
Atención a los huéspedes
We interact with guests in an easy and organic way that feels appropriate to each person and situation. We offer plenty of privacy since this bedroom is upstairs and we're mostly downstairs on the main level. On occasion, one of the hosts (Marie) may stay across the hallway from your room, but she's rarely ever seen upstairs. And sometimes we travel and may be away while you are here.
Otros aspectos destacables
We provide complimentary coffee and/or tea in the mornings along with some cinnamon raisin toast, but you are welcome to saunter down the block to the local grocery store and load up on your favorite food items and store them on your dedicated food shelf in the fridge. :) STR-0000200

I prefer NON-SMOKERS and if you are a smoker, I ask that you smoke away from our home (25 feet away). No drugs of any kind.
My home is also a SHOE-FREE zone so all street shoes can be parked on the shoe rack located in the foyer when you first walk in. If you wish, may I suggest you bring your own house slippers during your stay. :)
If you wear cologne or perfume, I ask that you kindly dab or spray outside, if possible. Your mindfulness around this is much APPRECIATED.

i've lived in san francisco for nearly 30 years and can confidently say, i know my city quite intimately; i'm happy to make recommendations to help you have an enjoyable stay as well as help navigate our charming village by the bay.
one of my most nourishing relationships is with mother nature; i enjoy hiking to mountain peaks, through waterfalls, camping through various seasons and taking in all the good medicine that pachamama has to offer. i also enjoy growing and harvesting plant medicine and have a deep abiding reverence for indigenous, buddhist and nature based ceremonies.
i have a reiki practice and work mostly with cancer related clients; i also teach meditation in san francisco and oakland and am a co-founder of a residential meditation center located in berkeley.
