The Wifi didn't work for a week. The Alexia's husband had told us, that it wasn't his fault and he couldn't do anything and add that apartment was in so good price thaht we could't complaint....Embarrassement. We had to roved with laptop ale looked for a pub or cafe with the wifi. I was very inconvinient to do it after an all day of sightseeing.
The flush in toilet didn't work for all our stay. We had to use bucket to avoid disgusting smell. It was extremeley terrible. Luckily we spent most of the time outside and didn't have to use this broken toilet often. The owner showed sometimes in the apartment, so he knew about the problem and didn't do anything.
Apartment was really hot. Inside was hotter than outside. Probably because it was last floor.
There were no lockes in door. Huge disadvantage.
I wrote to Alexia few days before with a lot of questions, e. g. about the localisation and public transport. I did like this with my previos hosts and always they answered all my questions. Alexia answerd only on 1 or 2 of my questions, so I asked one more and I got once more the same answers, only on 1 or 2 of my questions.
When we landed in Malta and call Alexias's husband, he changed 3 times the address of apartament.
I couldn't even settle with Alexia things about chceck in, what is extremely important.
Communication with Alexia and her husband was the worst I have ever had in airbnb.
There was no directions from the hosts. I was disappointed, beacuse my previois hosts were very helpful.
20 minutes by bus from the centre seems close, but the public transport in Malta is unpunctual and somentimes you have to wait and hour in more than 30 degrees. The last bus in after 10 p.m., so forget albout night life. I suggest to choose apartment near to the coast, beacuse you will not have a problem with coming back home afret 10 p.m
