I appreciate that each home cannot meet everyone's needs, however, we work very hard to keep our home clean and tidy for our renters. Our prior reviews reflect that, so I'm disappointed that this renter scored us so low. Our home is listed as a "Cozy Farmhouse", suggesting it is somewhat old (in fact it was built in the 1920s), but enjoys recent furniture, paint and renovations. Prior renters have remarked that they appreciate its original antiquity, while retaining its up-to-date appliances and furnishings.
Our listing states there is 1.5 baths, so I'm discouraged that our renter felt it necessary to list the single shower as a negative. There are plenty of clean and absorbent towels, but unfortunately we find that renters tend to take many of them home with them; keeping new towels is a difficult proposition in a home that's rented.
Regarding the "creepy writing" in the upstairs bath, there are some measurements written on the inside of a closet drywall. One would have to peer inside the renovated closet to find them - I'm not really sure what this renter would have been doing to look for something like that in the upstairs bath.
Overall, I'm disappointed with this review, but remain encouraged by the other reviews that consistently score our home much higher -
