Light filled family home directly opposite one of London's loveliest parks and close to hip and buzzing Brixton.

Fantastic transport links into central London - just 11 minutes by train to Tate Modern, London Eye, Big Ben.

The house is a light filled and spacious family home with plenty of room for up to 7 guests. The focus of our home is the light filled kitchen / diner with plenty of room to spread out and relax. Bi fold doors open onto the garden which has a big trampoline for the kids, a table tennis table, BBQ and table and chairs.

The kitchen has a neff electric oven and second combi oven/microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine, espresso machine, food processor, blender and plenty of equipment, crockery and pots and pans to keep even the most ambitious cooks happy!

There's a 26' TV , DVD player and PVR in the front room, plus wireless internet.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, huge double wardrobe and three chests of drawers. The sunny back bedroom has an extremely comfortable double sofa bed, another bedroom has full size bunk beds and the fourth a single high sleeper suitable for a child or adult.

There is a family bathroom with power shower and an additional downstairs toilet.

Guests will have access to the whole house.

We will be out of the country, but have appointed someone to look after the house and be the main point of contact during your stay should any problems arise.

Herne Hill is a lovely area with fantastic transport links to central London. The house is right opposite Brockwell Park, one of London's loveliest parks with plenty of wide open space, a fantastic children's playground, sandpit and paddling pool which are incredibly popular with kids of all ages, BMX track, miniature railway and the famous Brockwell lido which offers open air swimming year round as well as a gym, sauna and spa and a fantastic cafe/restaurant attached.

Herne Hill has an abundance of restaurants, cafes, gastropubs and even a couple of microbreweries. All of these are around a 5-10 minute walk from the house. There are two or three good supermarkets in walking distance, as well as lots of local shops - butchers, fishmongers, bakers etc. Herne Hill Farmers market runs every Sunday 10-4 and is extremely popular, with stalls selling artisan meats and cheeses, cakes, and arts and crafts.

15 minutes walk or a short bus ride away is Brixton with its undercover market and series of pop up restaurants offering fantastic cuisine from around the world and a really buzzing atmosphere both night and day.

Herne Hill is incredibly well connected.

The house is 10 minutes walk across the park to Herne Hill station (direct trains to central London via London Victoria (9 mins), Blackfriars on the south bank (11 mins), Farringdon (20 mins)and St Pancras (25 mins) -handy for Eurostar.

10 minutes in the other direction is Tulse Hill station with direct trains to London Bridge and Wimbledon among others.

There are frequent buses from the top and bottom of the road to Brixton, Camberwell and into the city centre.

There is free parking on the street.

Great and spacious house, 15 minutes from central London and bordering the superb Brockwell Park. The house matches to the description and is very convenient for 6 or 7. Emily told us everything what we need with a lot of precisions. Perfect for a week in a very quiet location and easy for a nice time in London.

Fantastic house. Very quiet location, direct opposite to a park, but nevertheless only 15 minutes to inner London. 2 supermarkets near by. Emily usually answers quick to any questions. All you need for a nice time in London.

The "great room" is really nice - the kitchen lovely. There was plenty of room for 7 adults, if at least one pair was a couple. Apart from the arrival it was a great place to stay and Emily responded so quickly to my emails that it got sorted.

House was conveniently located to Transit, grocery stores, restaurants and a huge park. Everything a family needs. Kids loved the sparkly toilet:)
