Descripción

Private upper floor of restored 1890's Victorian home with modern chef's kitchen, original hardwood floors, high ceilings and cozy indoor and outdoor spaces. One mile from Falls Park and close to Greenville's many charming shops, restaurants and art venues.

You will be staying in our lovely restored turn of the century Victorian home near Greenville's historic West End part of the city. Pull up a chair and have morning coffee at our 8 foot wood-top island in our chef's kitchen, nap in our hammock, or sip lemonade on our classic southern covered wrap-around porch while planning your day in town. Catch some sunlight or have an al fresco snack out on our comfortably appointed back deck.

Enjoy your light-filled spacious room with 4 windows and comfortable elevated queen pillow-top canopy bed with plenty of soft pillows. Your bed is furnished with 100% cotton sheets, light-weight or medium weight goose-down comforter (depending on the season) and super comfy goose-down pillows. Alternative bedding is available if allergic to down, just let us know when you book. The room has tall ceilings, original hardwood floors, a large armoire, fireplace (non-working), a place to sit, and a 40 inch TV. You will have access to two full upstairs bathrooms and the privacy of having the second floor to yourselves during your stay.

We also have wifi access throughout the house for our guests.

Not available to rent for photo shoots

Guest will have access to a 250 sq. foot bedroom and 2 full baths located on private second floor of the house. Also all common areas including kitchen, family room, dining room, porches and yard.

We will be available to help guests during their stay.

We are one mile from Falls Park as well as shopping and dining in an older part of the city nestled between Greenville's West End/downtown and a quaint and growing artists enclave at the end of our street (with a great little local's coffee shop, an amazing lunch restaurant called Golden Brown and Delicious and one of Greenville's most anticipated restaurants of 2017, the Anchorage which you have to try) that is starting to become more vibrant as Greenville and its parks expand out and up the Reedy River . We love walking to the park from our house in the warm weather, getting coffee or chai from the Village Grind, strolling along the river with our family and trying out one of Greenville's amazing restaurants. Our baseball stadium (modeled after Boston's Fenway Park complete with a green monster!) is close by and a fun activity during the season. Greenville's famed Swamp Rabbit Trail as well as local favorite Zanti Power Yoga and the Kroc Center (swimming/tennis) are within walking distance. Many of Greenville's restaurants, shops, as well as theaters and venues for plays, music, and the arts are also within a very short drive or less than a 1.5 mile walk away. Check our guide for a glimpse at all that is nearby!

There is one off street parking spot at our house. Downtown's Fall's Park is a one mile walk and the rest of downtown is a little further or a short drive away. Parking is easy downtown for between $5 and $10 at most surface lots, two free garages on nights and weekends and the the first hour free at all garages with very reasonable rates after that. Greenville has bike rental shops, a free trolley you can catch off Main St. and is also Uber friendly.

Dates are limited, we only open the house up to guests certain days, please book in advance to ensure a reservation.

The house is also a great place for families to stay. We have an air mattress for kids that can be set up as well as a crib for those traveling with infants/toddlers and an xbox for older kids. The house is big enough that we don't really use the second floor so during your stay you will have that level all to yourself. The bed in your room is a little higher from the floor than most, for those having trouble getting in and out, we can provide a small step.

We will not rent for longer than a week, no exceptions, ever.

The demands of the NCAA tournament in Greenville along with St. Patrick's Day weekend made for a lively weekend trip! We enjoyed yet another fabulous weekend at Beth and Michael's and the spring weather was lovely! Perfect in every way - we are repeat guests and would not stay anywhere else. We appreciate all of the "intel" that Beth and Michael provide - great recommendations for restaurants and other businesses. Welcoming, relaxing, accommodating, accessible, beautiful fresh flowers - perfect in every way! Thank you!!

Beth and Michael's home is a beautifully restore 120+ year old home. Our stay was a great experience and Beth and Michael were wonderful hosts. We were able to have the entire 2nd floor to ourselves, affording us privacy. I would absolutely stay there again if our travels take us back to Greenville.

Nothing short of dreamy! I'm SO happy I chose their home. The house is beautifully decorated, and bright and cheerful --with almost a spa atmosphere--and I swear I never slept so well away anywhere. When I arrived they offered me fresh pumpkin cake and it was then I knew it would be a good stay. MIchael's knowledge of Greenville was the icing on the cake. He shared a great deal with me regarding the history of Greenville and knew pretty much everything you needed to know about the culture and best restaurants. Beth was an absolute pleasure to chat with and I hope to keep in touch with my new friends and get back to Greenville very soon to show off my find!!

We have a 2 year old son, and we also have Michael's children every other week, they are 6 and 8. Our main home is in Greenville SC, and we also have a one bedroom condo in Mount Pleasant, SC. Beth travels between the 2 cities weekly to run her 2 yoga studios, Charleston Power Yoga. Michael is a senior sales analyst for Windstream in Greenville. We love to travel, ride roller coasters, go for long walks and picnics, work out and cook dinners for our family.. We love hosting people at each of our houses and making them feel like part of our family, or giving them lots of privacy, whichever they want!
