If you like open horizons and open vistas, if you are searching for a cosy nest to rest in the centre of a busy city, a warm, peaceful and relaxing Home Away from Home, a small yet well equipped and affordable retreat, look no further! This is the place for you in Paris!

This 28 sq metres apartment is a small two room apartment on the 6th and last floor of an 1800’s building with elevator. It has been completely renovated into a sitting room/bedroom, a dining room with corner kitchen and a bathroom. It's an ideal 'pied a terre' for 2 people, but it can accommodate up to 4. Ideal for a family with 2 children.

The sitting room/bedroom, is painted in a delicate magnolia colour, has a parquet wooden floor, a double bed and a sofa that turns into a comfortable queen size bed with excellent quality mattress, television, DVD with a selection of classical films, books, a desk, a bookcase/wardrobe, selected indoor plants and air-conditioning. The balcony offers spectacular views of the Eiffel Tower and central Paris.

The dining room/kitchen painted in mauve/red and magnolia is complete with dining table and chairs that can accommodate up to 4 people, a refrigerator, washing machine, dish washer, oven, micro wave, toaster, coffee maker, a selection of indoor plants and a plant filled balcony with floor cushions that one can sit on and enjoy breakfast or a drink while enjoying the views over the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomph and central Paris.

The bathroom is also totally refurbished with shower.

The apartment is ideally positioned facing south towards the center of the city, so it has lots of natural light and sun all day long, something quite exceptional in Paris.

It is situated at the edge of the famous Montmartre area, with its many small streets and its little specialist shops, cafes and restaurants. A bit further up the hill and just 3 min away on foot, you will find the stairs that lead to Sacre Coeur, another famous Parisian landmark. Behind it, on Place de Tertre many artists gather to sell their works of art or to draw your portrait for a small fee, continuing the long tradition of artists, Montmartre is famous for.

This is how Montmartre is described in one of the guides.

'Everyone has their opinions about what to see first in Paris, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, blah blah. Forget it. Get off the plane and go to Montmartre --one of the neighborhoods of the 18th arrondissement, an 'outer' arrondissements of this little escargot known by the locals as 'Paname.' This arrondissement, the center of Bohemian romantic life, the setting for Buz Luhrmann's Moulin Rouge and of the Les fabuleux déstin d'Amélie Poulain (Amelie) has everything. Great food at good prices, French Chanson, art, tacky sketch artists, charm, vulgarity, shops, monuments, class, and if you don't want it -- you can find no class. The 18th is where you will find spectacular Sacre Coeur, the Musee Dali, winding hills, vulgar and cheap souvenirs to take home to people you don't like so much anyway, Moulin Rouge, Pigalle – everything that is great about Paris. Though it is no longer home to as many artists and bohemians as it once (they have moved to Montreuil a neighborhood to the East of Paris) and even though the bourgeoisie and their money has flooded in, there is little that can be done to erase the charm of this neighborhood... gentrified or not.'

Another important fact about this apartment, is that both metro and buses are right in front of it, which means that you will not have to walk far with your luggage when arriving and departing or when getting home after a long day out sightseeing, or even better you can get home for a few hours to rest and then go out again.

With Paris and the Eiffel Tower just at your feet, beautiful Montmartre just around and a fresh looking, cozy, home to come back to, this is by far one of the best places to be when in Paris!

Welcome and enjoy your stay!

Minimum stay 4 nights.

Guests will be met only on upon their arrival, when they will be shown around and given keys. In case of a problem the owner or his contact in Paris will be available to make sure it is solved.

This is a lively and touristic neighbourhood with many cafes, restaurants concert halls, cabarets and clubs. The famous Moulin Rouge is just down the street. You will also find a number of supermarkets in the area, among which a very good bio c bon (pronounced bio ce bon) organic supermarket just across the road. Every Saturday an organic market takes place at Place Clichy just 2 metro stops away but also walking distance.

Paris Arrondissement 18, Paris, Ile-de-France (Paris Area), France, Europe -- The apartment has all kinds of transportation right outside the front door, which means that you will not have to walk far with your luggage when arriving and departing or when getting home after a long day out sightseeing.

The underground station, or Metro as it is referred to in France, and buses take you directly to Trocadero and the Eiffel Tower, and to the Louvre, the Notre Dame and the river Seine. Montmartrebus, which also stops just outside will take you around the Montmartre village, if you find it tiring climbing the stairs or steep streets to the Sacre Coeur.
