Servicios y zonas comunes
There is 1 bedroom with a small double bed (converted sofa), plus the sofa in the living room has a pullout queen bed which needs to be made up. The main bedroom at the back of the house is locked while we are away.
Heating or cooling is controlled by the Nest thermostat in the kitchen. There is a washing machine and dryer just outside the back door in the kitchen.
There is a door code on the front entry gate to the building. The door to the apartment has a locking mechanism using August- you can use the pinpad to get access. If you download the August app we can also give you access via your mobile phone number - you can open and close the door using the app. Most people just use the pinpad!
Atención a los huéspedes
You have the whole apartment to yourself as my husband and I travel a lot. Please call or text me if you need anything or can't find something!
Otros aspectos destacables
There is usually a lot of parking available on the street which is rare for San Francisco. We live across from a tennis court, but check the signs for packing restrictions. They are usually 2 hours during the week.
To operate the shower, pull out the handle hard. Right is cold, left is hot.
There is no dishwasher, microwave or toaster. You can toast bread in the bottom of the oven - you turn the knob all the way to right to the symbol marked grill then light then oven. To light the oven, the lighter is in the drawer in the standalone unit next to the back door. Open the oven door, turn on the gas and use the lighter in the middle circle inlet down the bottom of the oven.
Leave the house as you found it :)
Respect the neighbors by avoiding unnecessary noise.
