Unique free standing wooden cottage with sunny courtyard in one of Melbourne's best locations. Quite street close to many of Melbourne's main attractions. Albert Park Lake , The Grand Prix Track, The Beach, Brideport St shopping precinct, AMAC swimming complex, Light Rail over the road - 12 minutes to CBD, 5 minutes to St Kilda.
There is a washing machine for guest and clothes line in the court yard for drying. Please turn off taps at wall when finished with washing machine.

Albert Park Lake is minutes away with a 5km walking/running track, it's beautiful park and well worth a visit. Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre is over the road with lap pools, gym and basketball court. For golfers there is a driving range and a 18 hole public golf course close by. The light rail across the road takes you into the city of Melbourne and pass South Melbourne Market ( one of the Australia's best ). A clean sandy beach is 10 minutes walk down Kerferd Road , Port Phillip Bay is generally safe for swimming.
There is wonderful shopping close by in Bridport Street, cafes, restaurants, clothing stores, a super market and The Albert Park Hotel. Other interesting shopping strips close by are Bay Street Port Melbourne and Fitzroy Street St Kilda.
Take a walk, or tram, up to and along, St Kilda Road. The Shrine of Remembrance, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Royal Botanic Gardens and Federation Square on the Yarra River.
There are many many more interest and famous sights to see, just ask your host for information. Melbourne the Worlds Most Liveable City.
The light rail is at your door step across the road. Several taxi companies service the area.
You will find two Myki Public Transport tickets that allow you to use the light rail to the city and beyond. They need topping up from time to time so don't be caught out. Please leave them when you vacate for future guests.
Otros aspectos destacables
The wire security door, if locked, gives extra security while leaving the front door open. Parking over the road is 2 hours during certain hours, but free. Please be aware that parking directly in front of the house is prohibited with out a permit. Long term guests can access a permit from host.
No smoking allowed and do not light any fire in the fireplace as the chimney is blocked. Sorry no pets allowed.
Please let us know of any breakages or damage, these things happen.
If staying for an extended period please water the plants.
If extra guest stay are to stay over please notify host prior. Note a charge of $50 per head will be charged.Reframe from loud music or noise ( especially in the courtyard ), our neighbours are our good friends and we wish to remain so!
Could guests please turn off the air conditioning, and or heater, when leaving the house for an extended period, we are all trying to save the planet!

A retired business man living the life of a farmer in one of the most beautiful place in Australia. Most days doing jobs around the farm and garden and managing several rental properties in Melbourne but finding time for wood work and my true passion photography.
Together with my wife we love to have old and new friends visit along with family and a host of grand children. Adelaide our dog keeps us on our toes and the rabbits at bay.
