Planning a visit to Atlanta? Stay in a charming, historic 3 bedroom/2 bath brick bungalow just a stone's throw away from Piedmont Park, the Atlanta Beltline, the Botanical Gardens, and local Orpheus Brewery.

This charming three bedroom, two bath home sleeps up to eight. Two large bedrooms each contain a queen-sized bed and share a bathroom. The third bedroom contains two twin-sized beds and has an en suite bathroom. For sleeping eight, the living room couch folds to a queen-sized bed.

In addition, the house has a large, fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher. Just off the kitchen, the mudroom contains a washer and dryer to which guests have full access.

Enjoy your meals at the large farm table that seats up to eight in the adjoining dining room. Or enjoy your meal in the quaint breakfast nook in the adjoining sunroom looking over the Morningside neighborhood.

There is ample parking behind the home in the large, gated backyard.

This is a whole-house rental.

I'm always available to help through your stay. The house is self-access and self-check-out, though, so I'm also completely out of your hair.

Our home is located near the heart of midtown Atlanta and is within walking distance of multiple restaurants, grocery stores, and parks. Just behind our home is Orpheus Brewery, a fantastic local brewery specializing in saisons. Just a block away is an excellent pizza place and a relaxed pub with a great beer list and burgers.

Of course, the jewel of this neighborhood is Piedmont Park, Atlanta’s largest park, just a half block from the house. Inside the park is a public pool, public tennis courts and basketball courts, bocce courts, two playgrounds, a dog park, a splash pad, running paths, a farmer’s market on Saturdays during operating season, large ponds, and Park Tavern, the only restaurant on the park.

The Atlanta Botanical Garden is walking distance from the house straight through Piedmont Park.

Atlanta’s current infrastructure project is the Beltline – a 33 mile exercise loop around the city, built over centuries-old railway supply tracks. Though only partially built, the Beltline’s longest 2.2 mile stretch is begins at the corner of Monroe and 10th street – about a half-mile walk from the house. For the more adventurous, the undeveloped portion of the Beltline runs just a 1/4 mile behind the house through Piedmont Park.

This is a historic home and some of our furnishings are antique or handmade - - please treat our home with care like you would your own.

We had a great stay here, and we were so glad we chose this home over the hotels offered by our conference - less expensive, homier, more time to spend with each other, and easier to make meals. The home is beautiful, bedrooms are lovely and everything is just as described. Easy to check in, with no coordinating with host required. All week me and my travel companions were saying what a good decision we made staying here.

Jennifer's home is in my favorite part of Atlanta, Piedmont Park. Being in a home rather than hotel rooms was a great way for our family to enjoy time together while we celebrated my son's graduation from Morehouse College. We were able to check in a few hours early which was greatly appreciated. We had everything we needed and I would recommend staying here.

Pros: The house is very large with much room to accommodate a good size family or even two. Jennifer (host) was accommodating with let us make last minute change to reservation as we added a night the week before and also asked for late check out. Thank you! The location was fantastic as it backs up to Piedmont park and you are able to walk, bike directly to the park easily. A must see if you haven’t been to. The kitchen is updated and roomy and stocked with ability to stay and cook in if desired. The dining room table is fantastic and large and creates a great space for gathering many people at the table for dinner or board games. We loved it. The hosts did note that there was no TV, and while we enjoyed that, others may not. The fenced in back yard was great for a dog and appreciate airbnb owners letting responsible dog owners take their dogs. Updated washer/dryer was a bonus to be able to use if needed and start a load upon departure. Other Considerations: It should be noted that the driveway is extremely narrow and would not fit a large SUV as we had friends stop by to say hi but had to park a few blocks away. I have a small SUV and was able to squeeze through each time but go very slowly. The host did note that gate has a hard time closing due to other guests hitting the gate – drive carefully through it. Also should be noted that the driveway has a steep pitch and if you are carrying a bike rack or anything on the hitch it will not make it. After hitting the bike rack on my suv, I had to remove until leaving the property. Also low to the ground cars may have issue as well. The house is on a very busy road and although the bedrooms are in the back of house, each morning we were awaken to loud traffic, construction, or yard work of neighbors. Not a big deal but the noise starts around 6am and traffic through the night. Things to bring: shower soap, shampoo (there was a tiny bit of baby shampoo in one of the showers), coffee/coffee maker (there was a small nespresso machine that we could not get to work during our stay, and not other generic coffee maker so we had to opt to drive out to pick up some coffee in the am). These would have been nice additions, especially for a larger home.

The place was even nicer than the photos. I loved Trader Joes supermarket and Metro Fresh nearby. Enjoyed eating lunch in the lovely back garden. Key pickup was easy.

My group of old friends came in from out of town to visit for a mini-reunion, and this house was the perfect size to accommodate us for the weekend while I toured them through Atlanta. It easily fit our group of 6, and could have fit 1-2 more. The house was immaculate, with fresh sheets, clean towels, toilet paper and any other amenities. The fridge was also cleared out for us to bring our own groceries and cook for ourselves. The house is located at a great central location, with Piedmont Park right in the backyard. The sunroom was a great for lounging in the afternoon. The only thing to note is that the uphill driveway and the gate to the parking spaces in the back is a bit narrow, so be careful if you drive a larger car. My friend's SUV was able to make it barely through. All in all this place is a great, comfortable home base to explore all that Atlanta has to offer.

This place was perfect for our family trip to Atlanta. It's close to Piedmont Park and several cute shops within walking distance. Close to Trader Joes and other shops (Starbucks, Panera, Publix, CVS). Jennifer was a gracious host and worked hard to make sure we were happy. The house has tons of charm and fits right into the Virginia Highlands neighborhood. Comfy beds, coffee maker, dishwasher, new fridge.

The house is absolutely adorable and perfect for a stay in the city! We hosted a small girls trip and the location was very convenient to the near by bars and restaurants. Plenty of parking in the back. Jennifer was great; she was available for any questions we had during our stay. Definitely recommend this house!
