This apartment is fully self contained, with a well stocked kitchen (fridge, stove, large and small appliances, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and bakeware) and is one of three units, within a well maintained ground floor property which is outfitted with Granite counter tops, AC unit in the bedroom, Insect screens and security bars on ALL windows, ceramic tiles throughout and TWO built in closets with lots of drawers and storage space. It has a large ensuite bathroom with standing shower, in-room safe, queen size bed in the bedroom, ceiling fan and stand-up fans, several windows which provide considerable ventilation, as well as covered patio which offers lots of privacy for alfresco dining and relaxation. The patio has insect screens (MOSQUITO MESH), security bars, ceiling fan and lockable patio gate. Upon request, the queen-size pull-out sofa bed is in the living room, can be prepared for an additional guest, or a folding bed can be provided in the bedroom. There is a separate communal laundry room which guests can use at no additional charge. Although there are three apartments on the property, each offer unbelievable privacy, and each has its own private entrance and patio areas, which overlook different areas of the garden and lawns. This unique feature makes this property perfect for groups who wish to stay in proximity of each other, while maintaining individual quarters and independence in their own private space. BBQ Grill is provided upon request. The property has secure main entrance gates, which can only be accessed with designated keys; the safety of our guests is very important to us. Two sets of keys are provided per apartment. Every effort is made to provide guests with everything they need for a pleasantly unforgettable stay.

You will have access to a private outdoor covered patio with its own entrance to the apartment, as well as beautifully manicured gardens and lawns; we provide sun loungers for each apartment and comfortable patio furniture. There is automated security lighting, and the property is fully secured with fencing and security cameras around the parameters. There is an outdoor shower on the front lawn of the property, which is great for cooling off on a hot day or for rinsing off after a day at the beach. A lawn at the rear of the property has been utilised as a drying area and and clothes lines have been installed for laundry use. There is high speed internet, Cable Television, Secure onsite Parking, FREE laundry facilities, and FREE access to the ‘Beach House’ which is located 5 minutes walk from the property. The Beach House has sun loungers, chairs and tables, indoor and outdoor showers, bathrooms, lockers, changing room, restaurant and bar (food and beverage for purchase) and a lovely boardwalk at the front of the complex which is great for morning or evening walks; there is a sandy, white beach in front of the complex, which is great for swimming and snorkelling and where turtles and a variety of fish are often seen. Amenities include public transport and taxi stand, which are minutes walk from the property.

IMPORTANT: A Government tax of 10% will be added to your nightly rate, and will be imposed on all bookings confirmed on or after April 1, 2019.
We provide bath and hand towels, bed linen, and kitchen towels (changed weekly). We kindly ask that you bring your beach towels, sun block, and beach bags, as the island is usually sunny, with warm temperatures on most days. There is free use of the pool and facilities at the Beach House Club. Please bring with you a large towel or sun lounger cover for use on the sun loungers, as you may not be allowed to use the sun loungers without this. For your added convenience, we provide a basic supply of toilet tissue, hand soap, dish/dishwashing detergents, and cleaning supplies. You are responsible for a full supply during your stay. We do not provide food items. Rate quoted for 2 persons - Charge of USD $15/night, per additional person up to maximum of 2 (queen-size sofa bed in living room available for additional sleeping space and a folding bed can be provided, upon your request).
This apartment is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
Air Condition and laundry facilities (washing machine) included in rate. Apartment is outfitted with ceiling and standing fans.

The minimum Security Deposit of US $200 is charged if there is damage done to the apartment during your stay. A damage claim and Proof of such damage has to be provided my me, to substantiate the claim via the Airbnb platform. It is worthy to note that no claims have been made to date by me, towards any of my past guests.

Each apartment is rented as one unit but multiple units may be rented at the same time, or the entire property can be rented for groups wishing to stay on one property. Please enquire for discounted rates which may apply in such situations.

We are flexible with check in and check out times at no additional cost, based on guest arrivals and departures, so please enquire should you require an unusual check in or check out time.

The Sunset Crest area provides an unbeatable location, since amenities and beaches are all within walking distance, and the area is highly favorable for many visitors to the island. The neighborhood is residential, quiet and peaceful and provides the perfect haven for rest and relaxation but is also great for guests who are looking forward to activities and exploration. It is safe for walking around and most guests are repeat visitors who often refer to the island as their 'second home'. The property is located two minutes walk from shops, restaurants, banks, shopping centres, Massy Supermarket, RUBIS Petrol Station and convenience store, cafes, ice-cream and pastry shops, police station, 24-Hour medical centre, pristine beaches, Free use of large swimming pool and facilities at the Beautiful and scenic Beach House Complex, and most recently, the ‘Limegrove Lifestyle Centre’ which provides several options from which to choose when it comes to dining, shopping and entertainment. Several bars in the area offer live entertainment and daily 'happy hours' and there is also an upscale club/lounge nearby. There are lots of beach activities such as jet skiing, snorkelling, and boat rides/tours where you can swim with the turtles or simply rent a beach chair/umbrella while relaxing on the sand; I am more than happy to show you around the area when you arrive, and point out all of these places of interest.

I was born in Guyana, South America, and moved to Barbados in 1977 at the tender age of 1 making me almost '100% 'bajan'. The casual way of life on the island, makes living here almost perfect, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love the outdoors, especially the beach, meeting people and fostering lasting relationships; I have made friends in every corner of the world during my travels and meeting visitors to the island. My family has been providing accommodation to visitors for the last 15 years in the Sunset Crest Area, and this newly renovated property is a welcomed second addition.
