The pictures do not accurately reflect our experience staying at this bnb. The airbnb profile showed a beautiful, modern room that we would enjoy. Instead, we got an ugly blue room with outdated wooden furniture and a terrible bed. Not only was it uncomfortable, but it featured two very flat pillows and a wooden bed frame that wasn't attached. The mattress was suspended by a spring device, the frame was for show, and apparently loud squeaks any time you moved a centimeter.
The guest house itself was quite clean and had a very hospital like vibe to it, much like the emergency room that the airbnb (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps link took us to, just down the street. This was very confusing, but luckily you won't hear the ambulances unless you open your window. You may, however, hear the obnoxious thunder of the front door unlocking and slamming every time anyone enters or leaves the guest house. No one bothers to shut the door slowly and there is no mechanism for it to do so. If you are lucky enough to sleep right near the front door, you will probably be woken up by this multiple times. On the profile it mentions, "Respect the hours of silence." When exactly was this supposed to happen?
Lastly, please keep in mind that, despite not being mentioned on the profile, there is a 3.5 euro tax per person per night for the room. That on top of a 50 euro a night charge, means that I feel strongly that this experience was not as positive as it should have been. Would choose another location based on this information.
