Servicios y zonas comunes

The Kenai River Soaring Eagle Lodge & Cabins is nestled on the bank of the Kenai River off Funny River Road 17 miles from the town of (URL HIDDEN) Alaska. Our unique homestead will be the ideal place to start and end your day as you explore the "Last Frontier”. The town of (URL HIDDEN) is centrally located for you to experience all the Kenai Peninsula has in store for your Alaskan adventurous vacation. We provide a unique place to stay that will take you back in time and you have the luxury of deciding whether you relax at our picturesque location or immerse yourself in the many guided adventure trips available.

Our lodge and cabins are offered to guests ranging from $150 to $450 per night, based on the accommodations and week you choose for your vacation. Many local lodges and cabins have set packages that combine lodging and other activities, but we felt it is best to provide accommodations only with the resources to connect you to guided trips so YOU plan your own itinerary. This Alaskan homestead of a Lodge (Harmony) and 3 cabins (Prosperity, Serenity & Tranquility) is the perfect place for a family or friends gathering, as we can accommodate up to 18 people if you rent the entire homestead.

River fishing is possible, however requires waders to access the main river channel and the walk down to the river is by a six switch-back natural trail that drops 100 feet from the “Bluff” that overlooks the River. We are on the south side of the Kenai River off of Funny River Road, across from Bing’s Landing and a portion of the river called “the Rapids”. There are two other public access river fishing spots on our side of the Kenai River, as well as, the public access spots in (URL HIDDEN) near the Kenai Bridge (about 15 minutes from us) and you can do a search on local public fishing to see exact locations. Because of our “south side” location, we are about an hour drive to the Sterling and Russian River locations. Even though we are fairly successful fishing on our own, we are a big proponent of using guides to assure the best fishing results. The local guides know exactly where the fish are each day and our main web site (provided upon booking) lists experienced guides that you can consider to enhance your fishing experience.
All fish must be taken to a local fish processor in (URL HIDDEN) but fish caught on property can be cleaned at shoreline and ziplock freezer bagged in your refrigerator until next trip in town to the local fish processor.

Very nice basic cabin. Location is a ways out of Town, as noted in the description, but not really a problem. Very clean with well equipped kitchen. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

The Tranquillity Cabin is gorgeous. Tucked into the woods above the Kenai River, it is crisp and clean, smells of fresh cut wood, simple yet had all the conveniences I needed. Linda was a lovely host, invited me to the common areas including fire pit and switchback trail down the steep bank to the river. I loved my stay in Funny River.

We had the privilege to be the first guest in this complete renewed cabin. What a beautiful place to stay! The cabin offers everything you need! You can see and feel that Linda and Marc not only have made the place comfortable but also did everything to make you feel at home. Linda is a fantastic hostess. Right from the start, she was there to care, to advise and to help in anyway she could. She made us feel very welcome (and so did John, Andrew and Janine). Linda and Marc puts a lot of effort in redecorating the cabins. The location is breathtaking. From the deck there is a view over de Kenai river and the mountains (and this view changes every moment of the day). A wonderful place to stay and we will surely visit this cabin again!
