Our Tranquility cabin is for the real outdoors person who wants a step above a tent with the basics of modern day living, 7 day minimum Peak Season June 30th, 2017 to August 13th, 2017 otherwise open year round 3 day minimum.

Peak Season $150 per night with 7 day minimum Friday, Saturday or Sunday from June 30th to August 13, 2017. Off Peak Season 3 day minimum $150 per day.

Our Tranquility cabin is for the real outdoors person who wants a step above a tent with the basics of modern day living at a great price. This rustic log wood sided cabin is nestled on the back boarder of the property but easily accesses the shared common facilities and 6 river switchback access. The cabin accommodates 2 comfortably with 2 twin beds (not moveable), a kitchenette with an electric replica of an old cast iron stove (stove top only no oven), microwave and full refrigerator with ice maker all the essentials setups needed to prepare a quick meal. You can relax in front of the wood burning stove or catch the news on the 32" flat screen TV at the two seat table or sit on the small deck. This wood floor cabin has a bathroom with shower, one set of bed linens and towel set per guest provided for the stay.. A wall heater and wood burning stove, Direct TV and WIFI Internet in cabin. No laundry on site.

Our unique homestead will be the ideal place to start and end your day as you explore the "Last Frontier”. The town of (URL HIDDEN) is centrally located for you to experience all the Kenai Peninsula has in store for your Alaskan adventurous vacation. We provide a unique place to stay that will take you back in time and you have the luxury of deciding whether you relax at our picturesque location or immerse yourself in the many guided adventure trips available.

Our lodge and cabins are offered to guests ranging from $150 to $500 per night, based on the accommodations and week you choose for your vacation. Many local lodges and cabins have set packages that combine lodging and other activities, but we felt it is best to provide accommodations only with the resources to connect you to guided trips so YOU plan your own itinerary. This Alaskan homestead of a Lodge (Harmony) and 3 cabins (Prosperity, Serenity & Tranquility) is the perfect place for a family or friends gathering, as we can accommodate up to 18 people if you rent the entire homestead.

For those with an adventurous spirit, get ready to enjoy the many activities the area has to offer by simply exploring the resources we have provided on this website. Reserve the Main Lodge or one of our Cabins and then start planning your vacation that you arrange directly with guide & charter companies making your selections based on your budget and desire for adventure. Some of the adventures available include guided fishing trips down the Kenai River, a fly out to Wolverine Creek and a Glacier, or a deep sea charter from Homer and Seward, hiking or horseback riding along some of the most stunning trails, clam digging along Cook’s Inlet, ATV trips, day cruises, whale and bear viewing, kayaking and canoeing, and local quaint town shopping. The Kenai Peninsula is nicknamed “Alaska’s Playground” for a reason, so book your trip and get ready to play in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

You cannot beat the Kenai Peninsula and River area for wildlife viewing as our Kenai River Soaring Eagle Lodge and Cabins is aptly named, with eagles commonly seen all along the river. Our lodge and cabins in (URL HIDDEN) is less than a 2 hour drive to either the towns of Seward or Homer. We are a 3.5 hour scenic highway drive from Anchorage Airport (ANC) and less than an hour from the Kenai Airport. Day trips to towns of Homer, Seward, and Kenai will give you a chance to experience the diversity of Alaska and the Kenai Peninsula. Heading to Seward you will travel north from the Kenai river valley through flat wetlands with scrub spruce to the mountains with stands of Sitka Spruce forest and clear mountain lakes passing by Exit Glacier to Seward with all its beauty of Resurrection Bay. You may decide to head south on another day along the coastline of Cook Inlet to Kachemak Bay and Homer where you will be treated on a clear day the majestic views of the Aleutian mountain range and Mount Redoubt. These two drive trips are an adventure in themselves with panoramic views of volcanoes across the inlet and wildlife viewing opportunities of bears, moose, caribou and an array of birds.
For the fisherman at heart, the Kenai River has five species of Salmon with the Kings (Chinook) using it for their spawning grounds. Along with the Kings are the Silver Salmon (Coho), Sockeye Salmon (Red), Pink Salmon (Humpback), Chum Salmon (Dog), Dolly Varden and world class Rainbow Trout. The coastal waters off the Kenai Peninsula are home to Halibut, Lingcod and Rockfish, so be sure to plan for a day on a charter either out of Seward or Homer. Our area lakes are stocked annual and surround the (URL HIDDEN) area.

While visiting the lovely town of (URL HIDDEN) stop by the (URL HIDDEN) Visitor Center for more information and to view a variety of animal exhibits on display, including the world record King Salmon, caught by Les Anderson in 1985 or take a walk along the Kenai River on the elevated boardwalk. If you prefer a relaxing vacation, you will be treated to our spectacular views of the Kenai River and Kenai Mountains as the sun rises and sets. If you get the fishing urge, you can always grab one of our fishing rods and hike down the river bank’s switchbacks to our shore on the Kenai River. End your day with the sun setting and relaxing in our wood burning sauna or build a camp fire in the fire ring and roast marshmallows. If you desire to grill a meal, we have a charcoal grill near the picnic table. You can wind down the evenings within your private accommodations or you can socialize with other guests on our community deck. The one+ acre grounds are lush with trees, bushes and flowers, all overlooking the Kenai River and Mountains.

During peak periods check-out times are non-negotiable because other guest are arriving.
SALES TAX: A 3% Kenai Peninsula Borough County sales tax will be added to the rental rate.
DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION: Reservation requires a 50% prepaid rental deposit made by acceptable Credit Card or Pay Pal at the time of making the reservation. Your reservation deposit (prepaid rent) is refundable should the reservation be cancelled at least 90 days prior to arrival date. Should you cancel during the 90 days prior to arrival, you would forfeit the entire reservation deposit and applicable taxes. Full payment is due 90 days prior to arrival. There is a $100.00 administration charge for all cancellations and will be charged to your credit card.
CLEAN AND DAMAGE: A basic cleaning and sanitizing is provided prior to your arrival and upon your departure on the Lodge and Cabins. Guests are financially responsible for damages and for additional cleaning if necessary due to not leaving the Lodge and Cabin as required in list below: If housekeeping finds the Lodge or Cabin/s is in an unacceptable condition beyond normal wear and tear; photos will be taken and shared with the renter and an additional charge for actual labor to clean or repair/replace for damage will be charged to your credit card.
You are required to:
•Wash with soap and hot water all dishes, silverware, utensils, glassware, pots & pans and place back in cabinets.
•Remove food items from refrigerator and freezer upon departure.
•Remove your trash and recycling often during rental period and upon final departure and place it in appropriate Borough dumpsters along Funny River Road. It is important, due to bear activity, that no food or trash be left outside or in vehicle and when you cook that you clean up the kitchen shortly thereafter to eliminate the smell of cooked food.
•No fish can be cleaned on property only at river’s edge as per approved river restriction guidelines. Fish can be stored in Lodge or Cabin/s refrigerator or freezers but must be in double sealed freezer
We provide:
Toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towel, coffee filters and trash bags
1 set of towels and bed linens per person
1 car, SUV or pickup vehicle parking per Lodge
(If you have a second vehicle we will do our best to accommodate the vehicle but may have to park on the residential street.)

CARETAKER: The caretaker will be on property upon your arrival. Please email (EMAIL HIDDEN) with your reservation name and expected time and date of arrival. No arrival should occur after 9pm or before 4pm unless pre-approved by caretaker.
MAINTENANCE: When maintenance needs arise during your stay (light bulb burns out in a non-reachable place, leaky faucet, toilet runs, grill starter doesn’t work, oven burner not working, etc.), please notify property caretaker. It may be necessary for caretaker or repair personnel to enter the unit during reasonable hours to perform minor repairs and renters are not required to be on premises.
PETS: For the comfort of all our guests we do not allow any pets on the grounds or inside the cabins.
SERVICE ANIMALS: Mobility, visually or hearing impaired persons have the right to be accompanied by an assistance dog trained to provide assistance to the person with respect to the person's impairing condition, on any premises that person rents.
SMOKING: We do not permit smoking inside any of our cabins. Smoking is permitted on the decks and grounds. Please extinguish all cigarettes in ashtrays and dispose of them properly to prevent a fire hazard and keep the grounds well maintained.
PHONE AND EMERGENCIES: Cellular and Internet reception is good for most national carriers on your Smart Phone. If you need to use a land line or the office computer/printer or internet please let the caretaker on property be aware. For emergencies call 911 and provide with address 32280 Moonshine Road, (URL HIDDEN) Also there is a fire station a block away on the paved road. (URL HIDDEN) closest hospital is Central Peninsula Hosital at 250 Hospital Place, (URL HIDDEN) AK 99669 off Kenai Spur Highwa(URL HIDDEN).

WOOD BURNING STOVES: Please make certain your damper is open before lighting a fire and closed when leaving the cabin. All fires need to be fully extinguished prior to leaving the cabin. Wood will be stored in wood shed near sauna and available to guest within reasonable use.
CAMPFIRES only in designated campfire rings and if you start a fire and it gets out of control you will be held personally and financially responsible, so never leave a fire unattended.
HEAT: The Lodge and Cabins have a wall heater for your comfort, but please be sure to turn heater thermostat to 55 degrees when not in them.
WINDOWS & DOORS & LIGHTS: Upon departure be sure that all windows are in their locked position and doors are securely pulled tight and locked. Additionally, turn off all lights to conserve energy.
RV, CAMPERS AND TENTS:: No mobile sleeping units are permitted on the property for additional housing.

Your payment of money or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement, is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement, our terms and conditions and your intent to use the property for a vacation rental.

If we are not able to do this all rental deposit will be refunded. The renter fully understands that Kenai River Soaring Eagle Lodge and Cabins, its owners, representatives, and agents is not responsible or liable to renter for loss or theft of any of the renter's personal property, accidents, injury or damage of any nature from any cause to renter (including guests, licenses, or invitees) or acts of God, weather, road, travel or skiing conditions or other recreational activities, or items removed or changed in unit by owner.
