Quiet 63 sqm apartment in a charming part of CPH. We offer a comfortable king size bed, a well stocked kitchen and a living space with room for yoga or exercise. Close to canals and 15 min.walk to Tivoli. One block from CPH's largest green space.

We love to have space to exercise and do yoga so the mainroom is set up for that. You can use our weights and/or yoga mats if you would like. The kitchen has a Vitamix blender too.

You have access to the whole apartment, including the on property laundry mat. We will include 2 washes and 2 dries per week as part of the rental.

Islands Brygge is a charming little neighborhood best known for it's canal life and Amager Falled, the largest green space in Copenhagen. We have a nice local assortment of cafes and restaurants, along with one of the oldest bars in the city, Langebro. They offer a huge assortment of brews on tap. We are just a short walk over the bridge into downtown. Great for those who want to a quiet place with quick access to the city center and Christianshavn.

3 minute walk to the Islands Brygge Metro. Bus access as well.

The bathroom is small and showering is done over the sink which means that you have to wipe down the walls and floor after you are done. This is a old fashioned CPH bathroom and could be looked at as an experience or a nuisance, depending on your point of view. Please consider that beforehand.

Nice and beautifully furnished apartment with all the essentials in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood with a couple of supermarkets, restaurants and cafes nearby. Great location for a trip to Copenhagen, close to the canal and the city centre. Even though we didn't get to met Jenny in person, she was a great host and answered questions quickly and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay at her apartment.

The location is good and there is a lot of room. The hostess was easy to work with. However, the bathroom is tiny and cramped, meaning that we found it difficult to sit, stand, or turn without bumping into fixtures and walls. Also, the bathroom doubles as a shower stall, with really no accommodation for all the water (except for a shower curtain to keep the door drier). So everything gets wet, and it takes a lot of effort to squeegee and hand-wipe all the water from the walls, toilet, sink, and floor. It's a messy wipe-up task, and no fun at all. Because of all the moisture in the bath, the walls, pipes, and door frame have water damage visible, with active rot. This is unsightly and unhealthy, in our opinion.

Respuesta de Jenny:
We had written under the picture descriptions that the bathroom was small and that you had to shower over the sink. If you hadn't looked at the bathroom picture and it's description, we can see that it would frustrate you upon arrival. We now have included a more detailed description about the bathroom under the main text. We don't find that wiping it down takes much time. In the older buildings in Copenhagen this is a fairly common daily ritual:) But of course it can take a little getting used to. We are aware that water damage has occurred in spots so we treat those areas with Rodalon every 3 months. If Rick had written us about it we could have shared that. We feel the review and cleanliness rating is unfair as it is solely based on the bathroom. We wish that Rick would have expressed his concern during the stay so we could have told him that it is regularly treated. As far as the size of the bathroom and wiping it down, that is up to the guest to decide if it is for him or her. Best to think about that before hand.

Hi everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read this. I am originally from Chicago and have been living in DK with my Danish husband for the past 3 years. Before settling here, we lived in Mexico, Costa Rica and Chicago. We are a very laid-back couple who enjoy the simple things in life, primarily having lots of free time, good food and wine and company. We both work as handicap helpers and we have been trying for many years to start up something on the side. We recently lauched a little natural lipbalm company ((URL HIDDEN) and will expand to natural deo's and salves soon. Please get in touch if you are interested in our place and we can get to know each other a bit more. Tak:)
