The Christie Haus is located at the end of a quiet road just a short walk to gondola square. It is full of warm, classic mountain house décor to make you feel right at home. The views of the valley are amazing in all seasons. And you don't want to miss out on the hot tub!
Not a cookie cutter condo at a ski mountain... this home is within walking distance to the mountain, has an outdoor hottub, sunken living room and four bedrooms and 3 baths. Whether you are 2 to 4 couples or 2 families with kids you will love this duplex home. It's got everything you need to have a fun relaxing and convenient ski vacation.
Wireless internet to keep up with things, washer and dryer and full kitchen.
The house is just around the corner from the ski area yet secluded on a dead end street overlooking the golf course.
The free city bus to take you anywhere in the area including downtown stops right at the end of Christie Drive.

Atención a los huéspedes
Guests are always welcome to call with any questions. We are just a short drive away from the house and can be there quickly.
Just expect the respect of the neighbors, no glass in the hottub and shoes off most appreciated on the new carpet. Best with 2 cars max. May be able to work out one more but 4 is a challenge.

Barry and Debbie Smith - we have lived in Steamboat now for nearly 40 years.... have 4 kids, all grown up now. Its been fun to watch them grow up and get to live the life here.... skiing, biking, hockey, tennis, fishing, horses.. and too much more to list. Since the nest is empty we've built a barn to live in just west of town and have been doing some renting of our family house. In the summer we run a kayak school that operates right here on the yampa river going through Steamboat. Barry has been running this for over 30 years now. In the winter Barry teaches skiing and is a nordic instructor examiner and former demo team member. Rough huh. Deb (me) worked nearly 30 years for the Steamboat Ski Area as Director of ticket and group sales, then for the Lowell Whiteman High School development office and the Orton Family Foundation developing a community information site We welcome you to stay with us and are happy to answer any questions you might have...
