Watch the otters play and the boats sail past! 960 sq ft open plan apartment with great room, small kitchen, propane fireplace, bedroom w/ king bed & dressing area, laundry room w/washer & dryer. Trundle day bed in great room sleeps 2 comfortably. The tall ceilings make it feel extra spacious and the windows let lots of light and views in.

There is a deck with a propane barbecue grill and a small table and chairs. The main house is in front of the guesthouse, but to the side, so there's still lots of view of Sequim Bay, Mt Baker, the Strait and the San Juans.

This guest house is over a 3 car garage, so there are some stairs to get up there. There is a front gate and fenced dog run, with a doggy door for easy access for your 4 legged friends. $200 security deposit for pre-approved pets. When you bring a dog, cleaning fee is $85 (for hair clean up and carpet shampoo), so please be prepared to pay the difference. We shampoo the carpet often if there have been pets visiting.

Trisha is a Realtor in Sequim, so she knows the area very well and can help you find most anything. Michael is a former Scout Master for a Boy Scout Troop, so he knows many great hiking trails and outdoorsy things to do. Generally we leave you alone to enjoy your stay, but Trish's phone number is posted and we are readily available if you need us.

There is Sequim sales tax and room tax (10.7%) that will be added to the cost if Airbnb does not charge it. If I make any changes to your stay, for some reason it does not charge the tax.

This location is perfect if you prefer quiet, natural settings with a terrific view as I do. The second floor apartment is carefully decorated in a sailing ship/sea theme. The bed is wonderful and the kitchen is well equipped, there is even a waffle iron. Trisha graciously supplied a number of food supplies: orange juice, fresh fruit, bagels, doughnuts, eggs, and more, much more than we could eat. There are many spices and condiments which makes cooking easy. There is a sweet table for two on the deck with a wonderful view across the sound towards Mt. Baker and the San Juan Islands. Trisha has a list of restaurants, stores and activities that is very helpful. After we left I realized I was missing my glasses. When I called, Trisha immediately went looking for them and found them under a chair where they had fallen. I was so appreciative!

The view is amazing. Everything was super clean and inviting. We figured out how to use Roku TV and LOVED the Keurig coffee maker. Very comfortable home-like atmosphere.

Trisha's place is very well equipped, all the basics well taken care of. It was a very nice touch to have breakfast makings. She also has a Keurig machine for coffee, tea and hot chocolate! The linens were first rate. Very comfortable and clean. And that VIEW, wow! I definitely will recommend anyone visiting the Sequim area to see if Trisha's place is available to stay at.

This is a great location, with easy access to the Olympic national park and fantastic views over Sequim bay with Mount Baker in the background. The place was spacious, clean and a pleasure to stay at.

The spacious apartment is fully equipped with everything you can think of and has a great view on the bay, we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. The fridge was well stocked and we felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again.

Really great place! Tastefully decorated and well stocked! We got in to town sort of late the night we checked in but found everything we needed to make ourselves dinner. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that they had left some items in the fridge for us for breakfast in the morning - a really sweet touch! This house is in a really great location, and easy drive to most things you would want to do in Sequim, not to mention beatific views of the ocean. When arriving in the evening we saw a family of raccoons crossing the street, the next morning we saw a deer in the driveway, and every morning we could hear geese flying by overhead. This is a great spot to connect with nature during your stay. The only thing we weren't crazy about is that there are no blinds or curtains to cover the large front windows. We never saw anyone or had issues with privacy but since the windows face directly into windows of the main house (also uncovered) it would have been nice to have the option of more privacy.

Thank you Kate. I always appreciate feedback about how to make the guesthouse more comfortable to everyone. I have battled the idea of blinds on the front windows. Because we do not occupy the upper level of our home (it's still unfinished) there's no one ever there to look out, so there's nothing coming from that direction, and boaters would have a difficult time seeing anything - even with binoculars. We live on the bottom level of the main house and all our windows face the water. And blocking even a tiny bit of the view in those big windows with blinds seemed to be a shame and unnecessary.... maybe curtains that extend all the way to the sides as to not block anything? I'll think about it.
