This Hanalei beachfront home (famous Pine Trees surf spot is just outside the door) is surrounded by the lush beauty of the Garden Island.

Awesome Hanalei Bay spreads out in front of you and the majestic mountains of the north shore hug you from the back. From this Hanalei vacation rental you can see the tip of Puff the Magic Dragon's famous nose and across the beautiful bay to the historic, picturesque Hanalei Pier.

This home is bright, very comfortable and stylish. 2 Queen bedrooms with handcrafted exotic wood beds, 2 bathrooms (both have rainfall showers, one with spa tub and the other with an extra large walk in shower). The upstairs loft has 2 Twin beds that can be used for lounging and watching the flat screen TV or be turned into a King size bed for an additional large bedroom.

In addition to every modern convenience, the house has some luxurious touches that will create a real sense of getting away from it all! Floor to ceiling mosaic tiles in the bath, hotel-grade sheets and towels, down pillows and more. The home also has a lovely garden. Relax in the hammock and let the swaying palm tree fronds serenade you. Inside and out, this home is one of those special finds - it's filled with aloha and even better in person than the pictures show.

Location: Watch whales and world class surfers from the wrap around lanai all winter and beautiful sailboats and sunbathers all summer. Located at Pine Trees beachpark, the heartbeat of Hanalei, this local beach access surf spot puts you in the middle of everything! This beach access spot will have cars in front of the house during the day (it is a sandy lot, not paved, lined or lit and the number of vehicles dependent on surf) but most all of them leave before sunset. If you decided to venture out of Hanalei there are many things to do on the North Shore of Kauai, all nearby and short, picturesque drives away. Kauai offers the best of the best in Hiking, Climbing, Biking, Golf, Tennis, Basketball, Fishing, Hunting, Wildlife Viewing, Horseback Riding, Shopping, Restaurants, Live Theater, Cinemas, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling/Diving, Boating, Water skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Jet Skiing, Shelling and more!

Hanalei Bay is a walkable beach town famous for it’s beautiful shoreline, epic surf spots, and iconic waterfall strewn mountain views. There is a Big Save grocery store and Harvest Market Health Food store, as well as several quaint boutique shops, and a few restaurants and bars. Enjoy a freshly squeezed morning beverage at the Akamai Juice Company (in the Tahiti Nui) or hot cup of coffee at the Hanalei Bread Company. Lunch time favorites are found at the food trucks; Pat’s Tacos at the Hanalei Pier parking lot, Fresh Bite and Turmeric Cafe, on Kuhio Hwy just west of our office, and Hanalei Taro Company, on Kuhio Hwy just east of our office. No day at the beach in Hawaii is complete without a shave ice treat from Wishing Well Shave Ice. For dinner we love the Hanalei Dolphin for Sushi or Barracuda. Biking can be a quick, enjoyable way to get around town and we can help with rentals along with surf board or SUP rentals to enjoy in the bay or on the river.

Hanalei is a walkable or bikeable town and that is probably the most efficient way to travel just around town. If you want to see the rest of Kauai there is an island wide bus, however driving will give you the most freedom with your schedule. There is a private driveway for parking for your rental car.

Rates include the 13.42% GET and TAT tax required by Hawaiian government.

Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty, Inc. unilaterally and at its sole discretion reserves the right to change or cancel your accommodation if conditions beyond our control to rent the use of the property which was originally reserved. In the event this property becomes unavailable for rent, Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty agrees to use best efforts to secure an equivalent rental property. If this is not possible, Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty, Inc. reserves the right to cancel this reservation and return all monies to Guest(s).
Guest Agrees to allow CBBHR an/or assignees the right to enter due to the following:
a) To make necessary or agreed repairs. b) To supply services agreed upon. c) If unit is for sale, we will give you 48 hours advance notice to show the unit at reasonable hours d)In case of an emergency, we reserve the right to enter at anytime for the purpose of safe keeping or prevention of further damage. Note: Please notify us if you will be absent from the property for more than 2 days.
Landlord Responsibility:
a) We will give you the right to occupy unit per agreement. b) We will provide and maintain appliances. We will not be liable for interruption of these services that is beyond our control. We will also not be responsible for interruption electricity, water, or gas beyond our control. Please promptly notify us of any problems. You may not end this agreement because of these interruptions.
Tenants Responsibility:
a) Tenant is responsible for using their best efforts to familiarize themselves with property, its location, and surroundings. Some of the properties are in a remote location. As such, what would be considered normal response time for public services in an urban area may not be available in this location, i.e., police, fire, and emergency services. Also, naturally dwelling animals, reptiles and fauna are different then might be encountered in an urban setting and some might be considered “pests” by some individuals, i.e., centipedes, geckos, roaches, spiders, rodents, termites and mosquitoes. You should be prepared to accept such inconveniences or discomfort as a normal and necessary aspect of renting a home in a area with strong rural character. Also, Tenant acknowledges this is a binding contract and cannot be released from the contractual obligations upon arrival. (b) Notify us of any defects or problems. c) Use the unit as a place to live; you agree not to host an event, wedding, party or other gathering that exceeds the maximum occupancy displayed on the contract without prior written agreement with CBBHR. Violation may result in significant additional charges and forfeiture of your security deposit d) Furniture is not to be moved within or from the unit. e) No parties/functions within the rental property f) No animals/pets allowed in the unit or on the property g) No smoking within the unit. h) No shoes to be worn within the unit i) Please obey all house rules posted in unit.
Miscellaneous:
a) Housekeeping services may be available by request only and will incur additional fees b) This contract is binding and cannot be modified or terminated by a sudden change of circumstance c) Changes: The booking agent must be notified in writing of any changes as soon as possible for which there may be a service charge for each accepted change to the reservation d) You must leave unit on the date and time designated, unless prearranged, and any additional rent must be paid in advance e)Abandoned possessions: We will not be responsible for any of your personal effects left in the unit. We will be glad, if found, to mail them to you and have the right to deduct postage from your security deposit f) If we cooperate with another agency in securing the rental, CBBHR will not be held responsible for their course of actions g) Unit may not be sublet or assigned without prior written consent of Coldwell Banker Bali Hai Realty, Inc. and Owner or property.

Due to the tropical nature of Hawaii, owners and agents have no control over commonplace pests that may be exist on the property. These may include but are not limited to the following: geckos, centipedes, rodents, cockroaches, mosquitoes and ants.
