Nelson was an excellent host, and the communication was perfect and timely. All the instructions and descriptions were clear and accurate, and he made sure we felt like at home while in the apartment, as well as prior to our arrival.
The apartment has a very convenient location to access the main streets and downtown Toronto. There is a convenience store right at the entrance of the main building.
We stayed for four nights at Nelson's. The unit was clean and has a fantastic living room where you can rest after a busy day. The wifi works great, and the apartment has a Roku box with Netflix (apart from Roku channels, there are no digital TV channels available, though... or at least we were not able or did not know how to access them). There is a balcony where smoking is allowed if the access door and windows are closed, which was much appreciated. The shower worked better than in many hotels I have been to (good pressure, quick and stable hot water), and the coffee maker was a life saver in the morning. We had lunch and dinner out, so I have no comments about the kitchen. A fresh coat of paint would be a great improvement for the apartment, and some of the power outlets did not seem to work at all (we did not mention that to Nelson because there are plenty of outlets in the apartment and we got our needs covered, but using them seemed like a trial and error kind of thing).
Overall, the building is not very fancy but the apartment offers a very good price-quality relation.
