On the edge of the village of Myddle with a great family friendly pub and shop. A great space to stay whether visiting, on holiday, working.

Olivet has been designed for your ultimate comfort in mind.
Bedrooms with brand new comfy mattresses, French linen sheets, cloud like goose down duvets for the best nights sleep.
New efficient fast flowing showers. Constant hot water.
Big fluffy bath sheets.
A huge lounge with inviting soft leather sofas, tapestries on the walls, games to play, books to read, tv to watch, DVDs, woodburner radiating masses of warmth.
A sun room to the front of the lounge looks out over a panoramic view and is somewhere perhaps for morning coffee and reading papers (acquired from local shop).
A kitchen fully equipped with washer, dishwasher, dryer, microwave, etc., and for the chef in any of you...the very best and brand new dual fuel big range cooker. A dining table is in the kitchen and seats 6 comfortably.
A high chair can be provided on request.
There are radiators throughout which can be adjusted to your needs.
An enclosed and secure paved area to the back with a planted border. A seated area.
Lawn at the front with a gate to the driveway. The drive has enough space for 2 cars. There is a grassed area at the front for a third car.
Directly in front of the property is the A528.

All the house apart from the garage is accessible.
The three bedrooms will be made ready according to how many guests will be staying,, which will be established on booking.

After meeting guests at the property with the keys, I will be available throughout your stay for any help you may need or questions you may have.

Olivet is on the edge of the ancient village of Myddle.
It sits on the A528 equidistant from the historical towns of Shrewsbury and Ellesmere and overlooks farmland and a private airfield in the distance.
There is a pub within walking distance of the property which serves excellent food. Also close by is a small and convenient shop selling newspapers, bread and groceries.
A bus service to Shrewsbury and Ellesmere runs regularly, and the bus stop is in the village.
A train service is nearby.

A regular bus and train service is nearby if you prefer not to travel by car.
Shropshire has a wealth of places to see and visit....
Shrewsbury for its castle, olde world town, unique shops and cafes, Theatre Severn, and much more.
Ludlow noted for its eateries and history.
Ironbridge .. A must see.
Church Stretton, walking on the Longmynd.
Welshpool, Wrekin, Much Wenlock, the list is endless.
Of course, Chester , Hereford and Telford are on your doorstep.
And Wales is a close neighbour.

Parking on driveway for 2 cars, although there is additional parking to the front of house on grass, which can be used if not wet.

Only one very well behaved dog allowed at any one time, and only able to stay in the hallway or porch, but able to have free run of secure rear area.
Poop must be scooped from outside, bagged and disposed of in the dustbin.

Great location and really spacious property with the most comfortable beds. The House is within a short walk of the centre of the Village which contains a great pub and local shop.

Olivet is a lovely property and deceptively spacious inside, the children (and adults) had plenty of room to play in the front room and the views from the front are lovely! The bedrooms are big and the beds incredibly comfortable. Each kitted out with some of the largest fluffy towels I've seen. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need and the oven is awesome! The checking in process was relaxed and much needed with some of us getting stuck in traffic when travelling from a far. The Red Lion is a great local pub with friendly staff, real good food and beer, and catered well for the little ones. Enjoyed a walk at Nescliffe Hill Country Park Walk on New Years Eve, certainly worth a visit.

Helen was superb and went above and beyond in helping us with arrangements before we arrived. The home was lovely and spacious and made for a wonderful family get together.

Very cosy and spacious place. Middle of nowhere location (all green and nice). Fantastic pub right around the corner (The Red Lion). Totally recommended.

We stayed here for one month whilst waiting to move into our new house. It was like home from home! Spacious, homely and very comfortable with everything we needed. Helen was a superb host - welcoming and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The beds are amazingly comfy too. Many thanks! Joanna

We stayed at Olivet for 2 nights while attending a family wedding at a local venue. Helen was a great host before and after we arrived, it was our first time visiting the area. We were delayed arriving and Helen was very accommodating. Olivet is a beautiful house, we would have loved to stay longer. The house is very comfortable and full of character. We would love to return again.

My name is Helen and I live with my partner Delme in the lovely town of Shrewsbury.
I am a self employed cleaner and caretaker. Although most of my working life has been in the equestrian world.
I am a mother of 3 and a grandma to 7.
I have my Mum, brothers, sister and several nephews and nieces.
I was born and brought up in Bolton in the north of England and had a perfectly wonderful childhood with memories of riding ponies, long walks with dad, teatime with all the family, holidays in Abersoch. Very happy days!
My loves are family, our horses and cats (16 Andalusian horses, 12 cats)..adorable.
I like reading, knitting and good conversation.
Delme bought Olivet this summer and we now have it ready for you to enjoy.
