Información sobre este anuncio
Small but nice appartment which is only a 20 minute walk (or 10 minute tram ride) from the center, great view, close to several supermarkets and the 'Foodhallen', a hip and new food market. There's a big screen TV w/Netflix, NO COFFEE MAKER!
This is a studio close to the center of Amsterdam (20min walk, 10min tram). Located in a building built in 1942. Small kitchen with stove, water heater, DISH WASHER, but no coffee maker. Bathroom comes with soaps I've snatched from lovely hotels all around the world ;)
Feel free to use my Netflix or my Wii U (Mario Kart 8 included!). There's no extra closet space, unfortunately. If need be there is an inflatable air mattress that can be used at your convenience.
Very near to the 'Foodhallen', a hip food market which is a great place for lunch, dinner or snacks. Several supermarkets are close to the apartment, and 3 tram lines stop next to the apartment which will conveniently take you into the center or to 2 different train stations. ATM is next to the tram stop.
Servicios y zonas comunes
You can use the full apartment, which is on the 6th floor of the pictured apartment building. As this is not a professionally rented apartment (I am renting out my own place while I'm away) I'm afraid there isn't any extra closet space. However, you're free to use my Wi-Fi, Netflix and Wii U. You can also plug a USB into my TV to play and videos you brought from home. But you're in AMSTERDAM, so you're not going to spend all day inside, are you?
Atención a los huéspedes
I will be away for the duration of your stay, but of course I will be available on the Airbnb messenger app if you have any questions. My friend Louis who lives very close to my apartment will be available to hand you the keys and give you a quick tour of the apartment, and he'll be available for additional support I cannot provide because I'm not there. Upon arrival you'll also find a document with info on how to get to ATM/supermarkets, some restaurant tips, etc.
Several supermarkets are in walking distance (both regular and budget supermarket), close to some nice restaurants, including the 'Foodhallen' which is a great new food market located in an old renovated tram shed (± 5 minutes walking distance). Tram stop is right next door, with 3 lines that will take you into the center and/or 2 different tram stations. It's about 10 minutes to go into the city center, but you can also easily walk there in about 20 minutes.
Only expensive paid parking spots available. The apartment can be reached by taking a train to Amsterdam Central station and then taking a 20-minute tram (#13) to my tram stop, or by taking a train to Amsterdam Sloterdijk (slightly closer to the airport) and then taking a 15-minute tram (#12) to my tram stop.
Otros aspectos destacables
There is no coffee maker. I repeat: no coffee maker. You will have to buy instant coffee or get coffee from the coffee place next to the tram stop.
You don't have to bring your own shampoos; there are lots of them you can use :) Unfortunately there's no extra closet space either. The building has 2 elevators, but then you have to climb down one flight of stairs to get to my 6th floor apartment. This means that unfortunately, the apartment isn't suitable for wheelchairs.
No smoking allowed, but you can go right outside the front door to smoke (please don't be loud as you're also standing in front of my neighbor's doors). As my studio is located in an apartment building, it can be noisy so please don't play any loud music or anything like that after 11pm. Absolutely NO PARTIES. No pets.

I'm a guy in my mid thirties who lives really close to the center of Amsterdam and loves it there. In the past couple of years I've gone from only using Airbnb as a guest, to also offering my own apartment as a host.
I love music and watching TV shows, I like playing games on my Wii U and I enjoy the occasional trip. As a person who almost exclusively uses Airbnb when I'm traveling abroad, I know the needs of a guest and I know what kind of information can be helpful when you're staying in a different city. I'm always happy to help if a guest has any questions or needs recommendations.
