The apartment has fabulous views out over the lagoon style pool with waterslide and around to the night lights of the Surfers Paradise skyline. Some ocean views from balcony.

The apartment features a large lounge opening onto the balcony, dining alcove, hostess kitchen, separate laundry, master bedroom with king size bed or choose to split into singles , walk-in robe and ensuite bathroom with large spa bath and separate shower, Foxtel connected.

HOLIDAY BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please read carefully as a breach of any of the conditions below will permit the owner/agent to refuse a key, amend a rental or immediately terminate the tenancy. No refunds will be paid on terminated tenancies.

• BOND- A security bond of $200-$300 is held through AirBNB and is claimable upon discussion should any damages happen to the property during the length of your stay.
• NO PARTY POLICY - are let to you for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the receipt. Your accommodation will be cancelled and no refunds given if you are booking the apartment for a PARTY, EVENT or GATHERING. Gold Coast Holiday Stays may inspect the property with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if there is any belief that there has been a breach of these conditions herein.
• SCHOOLIES - No SCHOOLIES bookings accepted.
• ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES – occupation to commence from around 2.00pm (est) on the date of arrival (OFTEN EARLIER if available upon approval from GCHS) and the premises must be vacated by 10.00am (est) on the day of departure. Late departures will incur a fee. Christmas arrival times may vary due to the high volume of guests. Please note keys will not be released until the full amount has been paid.
• AFTER HOURS ARRIVALS - If you plan to arrive after hours, please make alternative arrangements for the collection of keys prior to your arrival date. The agent is NOT responsible for alternative accommodation or any other costs when tenants arrive after hours and have not phoned to make arrangements.
• LOST KEYS OR LOCKED OUT - A $20.00 cash fee will be charged if the agent is called out after office hours, due to misplaced keys, or a $50.00 cash fee will be charged if the agent is called out after 9pm due to misplaced keys. If the keys are lost, you will incur the cost of replacements keys.
• RELOCATION - Guests must accept premises “as booked" and cannot be relocated, other than on the basis that the full rental due be forfeited and full rental on the new premises is paid to occupancy. We are careful not to misrepresent any rental property. NO REFUND IS GIVEN IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH YOUR ACCOMMODATION.
• LINEN - (sheets, towels, tea towels, etc) included unless stated in the property description advertised. Any damages to linen will incur an additional charge.
Our property is privately owned and is rented on a fully self-contained basis. In the event of faults and/or malfunctions of appliances or inclusions, there is no obligation from the owner and they will accept not responsibility for any inconvenience with machinery breakdown. The owners best endeavors to repair, replace or hire an alternative will be undertaken. Emergency contact details will be provided on checkin.
• NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS - must not exceed the number of beds in house/unit. Overloading will render the customer liable for cancellation of the booking immediately.
• CONDUCT - of persons on the premises shall not be of nuisance to adjoining or neighboring occupiers. A warning will be issued, failure to adhere to the warning will result in the booking being terminated and people will be removed from the premises. Payment will be forfeited.
• PERSONAL PROPERTY - no responsibility accepted by either the Agent or Owner for customer's personal property left on the premises. At the end of every month, unclaimed lost property will be disposed of.
• SECURITY – for security reasons, please close all windows and doors when leaving the property at any time and also in the event of sudden storms or changes of weather.
• NO PETS - allowed at the holiday premises at any time.
• FURNITURE - not to be moved around. Items are not to be moved from room to room. A further fee may be incurred should this happen.
• CLEANING - Every effort is made to ensure your unit is clean and tidy for your arrival. Please co-operate with us and leave the unit clean & tidy. This includes removing rubbish and putting it in the bins, washing & drying of dishes, emptying the dishwasher, emptying and cleaning of the refrigerator, oven/griller & microwave, cleaning of the BBQ, leaving the beds neatly folded back, turning off the lights & cooling/heating appliances and if linen has been hired please leave it neatly folded just inside the front door. If the property is not left reasonably clean, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
• ALL RUBBISH TO BE REMOVED FROM THE UNIT AND DISPOSED OF PROPERLY.
• SMOKING - strictly prohibited in all properties.
•BOOKINGS are accepted by us, as agents, in good faith. Descriptions of holiday accommodation by the agent, in our brochure, over the telephone or on the internet are also given in good faith. The agent will not take responsibility for errors, omissions or misconceptions in descriptions on holiday accommodation. We cannot beheld responsible for actions taken by the owner of the premises outside our control, i.e. owner cancellation of booking, sale of property, tariff increases and alterations to the property. Should the property be withdrawn from letting, every effort shall be made to secure alternative accommodation.

This place is amazing! A gem on the Gold Coast. The apartment is very spacious, and fully self contained. There are beach views from the balcony. The tram stop is right out the front too. The facilities in the building are first class. The pools, spas and sauna helped with our marathon recovery. When I'm in the Gold Coast again I'll be staying here again.

My girlfriend and I loved this listing. Great hotel, great location, great facilities. The apartment was ample, with a large bedroom and bathroom, cooking facilities and lounge with a comfy couch and premium foxtel. The large bed was unfortunately made of two singles which made the middle hard to sleep on. The hotel staff were friendly and the facilities were amazing. The pools were great with a handful of different options. The long lagoon was a cold refreshing Saltwater pool with water slides that even for adults were fun. The chlorinated indoor pool was warm and still deep enough to be fun and not bland which they usually are. The indoor had a spa as well. A hidden treasure which we didn't find til the second day was an outdoor grotto with spa, both of which were warm and great for use all the way til 10pm. There was also a gym, sauna and steamroom. The only pity was the tennis court as most places do not charge for use where the mantra wanted to charge 10 dollars per use. The hotel also had its own restaurant which was Mexican themed. A minute walk to the beach, bus stop heading to theme parks and the new light rail stretching from Broadbeach to Southport and beyond. Surfers Paradise' main strip was only a 10 minute walk down the road with plenty to do and eat. All in all it was a very enjoyable trip made perfect with this listing and to top it off midday checkout on our final day and the hotel holding our bags and lending us a facilities key allowed us to kill time while waiting for our late flight. Will definitely stay here again if available when I return to Queensland.

Monique's apartment at Mercure Sun City is very well sited on the 3rd floor with a great view and balcony. The new Gold Coast light rail stops right outside which makes getting around the area really easy and fun. After-care was spot on with our most loved left behind sun hat being posted on to our home. Thanks Monique!

Fantastic Apartment! We have stayed at this hotel before, but this was our first time booking it through Airbnb. We had stayed the previous night at a "room" in someone's house via Airbnb, on the way up to the coast, and to be honest, I don't think I would do that again, as I didn't feel comfortable, but Monique's apartment was all to ourselves and we loved it. Foxtel was a welcome surprise, as I had an injured foot, so we spent a bit of time in the apartment, more than we usually would to be honest. Clean, beautifully furnished, and well appointed. We did some washing, as there was a fully equipped laundry in the apartment. We ordered Pizza one night from the local Dominos, delivered, and they had no trouble finding the apartment. Full restaurant on site with buffet breakfast. Only 1 block back from the beach, and the new tram stops right beside the hotel (we used it - fab). Good base to get to where you need to go. We drove up to the mountains on one of the days, and was lovely coming back to the apartment. Huge walk through robe between the bedroom and bathroom was great . All in all, a great apartment. I will however say that waiting for the lifts, especially in peak times, can be very long and frustrating, as your on the 3rd floor, so lift after lift would come down full of people and luggage, from the floors above, and it can be a super long wait, but as I said, peak times only. Other times they are fast and empty. I found Communication was a bit difficult, but it was Easter and as it turns out, Monique was away. Other than that, couldn't fault at all. Super Happy . Have told all my friends, and we will be back sometime soon!

The host made us feel very welcome and the unit was clean and had a unique character which will liked very much. The only issue was with the aircon which did not work at the time of us renting the apartment.
