The place was great and my friends and I had a wonderful time. Very cosy like we were right at home. The beds were nice, big and comfortable. My friends and I are pretty tall and very tall and we fit just fine on the beds. The hot tub was great and super clean. Overall great experience!

Review for The Muir Valley Overlook House, Campton, KY I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Muir Valley Overlook house, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! Nestled in a beautifully serene setting, this spacious and impeccably clean house provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the fabulous hot tub, which was nothing short of a blissful retreat after a day of hiking adventures in the breathtaking surroundings. There’s something incredibly relaxing about soaking in a hot tub under the stars, and this one did not disappoint. The expansive living space was perfect for unwinding and enjoying some downtime. An unexpected bonus was the selection of video games, which added an extra layer of fun to our evenings. The place is adorable, and in walking distance of the local library and a couple restaurants. The place feels bigger than the pictures make it seem. There is train tracks just a few streets away, so you do get that noise, but I learned to tune it out pretty quickly. The stairs to the basement / laundry area are steep, but it has a railing. Overall, a great place to stay.

The house was very clean, cutely decorated and perfect size for our family. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

This was a great place to stay and a very good location to all the activities at Red River Gorge (only like a 15 min drive)! Of course some of the hiking trailheads are further away any resturaunt, store, etc... you can easily get to within 15 mins from the Airbnb. The place was very clean, and the bed was super comfortable! Sarah was a great host and was very responsive to any questions we had. Her list of recommendations was also super helpful and all the resturaunts that we got to try were amazing! We will definitely be booking here again if we return to the Gorge!

This place was great: the price, fun style and decor, super easy check-out, and a communicative host. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and plenty of room to run around outside too. It is very close to Koomer Ridge campground which was helpful for us and our planned hikes. Nice porches too. The listing mentions being close to the highway and had several sound machines available in rooms--but it was quiet for us. We didn't notice traffic sounds at all during our stay. They also suggested a BBQ place we never tried, Redpoint. It was awesome takeout. Cute place and great host.

We came to The Red just to enjoy the outdoors and the sport of climbing. The weather almost made us miss out on the whole week but Jim helped us make the decision of coming anyways. Since he lives close by to give us a better weather and area report. The house provided activities too for the kids. They loved the pool table and hot tub.

This place was absolutely amazing !! We had an awesome time here. We came down to go to the lake and this was the perfect spot. Overall we had a nice relaxing trip - just remember to bring your bug spray !!!

We LOVED our stay!!!! This place is truly a gem and I am so glad I was able to find it for my husband’s birthday weekend getaway for our family. We had peace and quiet plus great amenities to take advantage of. We went on an adventurous hike and even tried a local restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful and if there were any questions or needs they were on top of it. Michaela was readily available and very reponsive! The outpost owner was amazing as well! Super friendly and was great to chat with and taught us a lot about the area! Definitely made our stay memorable! Book today, you won't be disappointed!

We had a great time at Sonya’s place! It’s a cute little cabin just off to the side of her own house. She has 5 dogs that roam the property and we loved seeing them every day. They were such sweethearts. Sonya was very sweet, letting us use the pool/hot tub that’s just behind her house on the deck, as well as her fire pit. The overall experience was great! Would go back in a heartbeat l.

Staying at the cabin was amazing! It was easy to find, super clean, and had plenty of space for all of us. The fire pit was a highlight—we had so much fun hanging out and making memories together. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing and memorable trip!

We spent a portion of Spring Break in KY with plans to spend time in Red River Gorge, visit KY Horse Park and the Ark. Stanton was a great location to easily drive to and from all places. This home met our needs as a family, and had everything we needed. The pool was also a nice perk for the kids to burn off energy - ha! Benjamin was easy peasy and everything was just as he said. I would recommend! Of note, there’s a Kroger and Walgreens around the corner, as well as a Little Caesars pizza and McDonalds. We are super low maintenance people so this was very convenient for us, and had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a fancy town with a lot of commercial restaurants then this ain’t it. I live in a small town so I appreciated this home’s location. Just my speed! Thanks so much - we had a great time!

My sister and I stayed at Sonya’s Airbnb to go to the crystal kayak tour. Sonya very friendly we fell in love with her , her place is by far one of the best Airbnb’s that I have stayed at. Sonya’s dogs would greet us in the morning or whenever we can to the hot tub and pool. The view landscape everything was amazing. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This venue is wonderful in a community with very little hotel options.. It would be a great venue to have a wedding at!

Our hosts were kind to allow us early entry as we were hosting family our first evening due to the loss of a beloved family member. We were gathering to celebrate his life at his funeral in a nearby town the next day. The property manager was kind to drop off toys soon after our arrival for our grandkids to play with in the large open yard. Our four grandchildren had a blast playing together in the yard. She also told us about a playground nearby. We loved sitting on the covered porch sharing reflections about our family member as well as hosting extending family to share a meal that first night. Because we were allowed early entry I was able to put the bulk of the meal in the crockpot so it would be ready for us all after our airport run. We really appreciated the kindness shown to us during this sad time.

Cozy cabin amongst a cabin community. Small enough to feel like a hug, large enough to feel like home. Everything done right, highly recommend!

This place is very nice and convenient. We stayed there while attending my daughter's cheer tryouts at Morehead State University and it was easy to get there. It was super clean and quiet, even with a wedding taking place in another building in the area. The beds and pillows were extremely dreamy. Kasia was great at responding to my questions and checking out instructions were clear and simple. It was a great experience. I'm so glad we found this place.

Nathan’s place was a wonderful place to stay! The cabin was comfortable, clean and we loved the fishing decor. The hot tub was clean and ready to use although we didn’t have time to get in. We loved Elliot’s pizza and cave run bingo, it is in a great location convenient to 64. Highly recommend this cabin!
