The outside space is the 96 acres of common land on which the property stands. Accessed via a stone track with parking outside the property. Good accessibility as just one door step. Greencourt Loft is a self contained, comfortable and luxurious coach house room situated in the beautiful and quiet village of Middleyard, on the edge of the Cotswold Escarpment in-between Stroud and Stonehouse. Just a few miles from J13 of the M5, we are in an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to open common land and ancient woodland, where mountains bikers, runners walkers and horse riders can all enjoy outdoor activities. The famous Cotswold Way runs close to the property.

Our space is a self contained studio with a bed, sofa, workspace and air con, light and airy it is the ideal base to explore the Stroud Valleys. N.B. THERE IS BUILDING WORK ON OUR HOUSE, THE ANNEXE IS A SEPARATE BUILDING BUT CLOSE TO OUR HOUSE. WORK WILL BE MON-FRI ONLY, BUT THERE WILL BE BUILDING MATERIALS AND MESS IN THE GARDEN. The interior of the annexe will be unaffected, but we have reduced the price to reflect the substandard exterior. Please only book if you understand this.

The 2 bedroom property (sleeping 3) adjoins the our main house but has its own entrance. It is at the end of a short track in a very quiet location. It is all on one floor. It is an old building and does have a few rough edges. Being on the Cotswold Way you have access to great walks in every direction. There is space to store muddy boots and dry off. Stroud with its famous saturday morning market is 10 minutes drive. Gloucester 20 minutes and Cheltenham 30 minutes.

There is a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room with sink and compost toilet, and a log burning stove. There are far reaching views of the Cotswold hills, which can be taken in from the South-facing deck. Enjoy al fresco meals, cooking over the fire pit in the garden or walks galore in the local countryside.

The barn was once used as the dye house for the working cloth mill in the 1800's, however during the war the dye house was repurposed as a cowshed and now recently converted into a home.
