Set in the Vale of Belvoir between Cropwell Bishop and Colston Bassett a self contained annex is offered. The house lies 20 minutes from the historic town of Newark, Nottingham and Melton Mowbray and is ideally placed for a day out exploring Belvoir Castle or Holme Pierrepont Country Park (a major water sport centre). The property backs onto the Grantham Canal providing excellent walks and a cycle route. A secure garage is offered for bicycles.
The space is self contained with its own door and key. It has a large upstairs bedroom with an ensuite shower room, and a welcoming downstairs living area. The room has a log burning stove, smart TV with Netflix and a compact kitchen with sink, fridge, fan oven and hob. The property has its own 1 acre plot and guests are welcome to enjoy the area but should be aware that the garden may have children and chickens roaming.
The villages of Cropwell Bishop and Colston Bassett are famous for their Stilton cheese and a factory shop is open during working hours. The Vale of Belvoir offers a number of attractive villages and guests can enjoy the Wharf cafe in Hickling or a pub lunch at the Martins Arms in Colston Bassett.

These suits ideally suit 2 adults in the bedroom (couple) and upto two children on the sofa bed. There is free secure car parking for many cars covered by cctv. Lovely countryside views but not to far from Nottingham city centre, situated just off the A46
Each unit is capable of sleeping up to four guests, typically two adults in the bedroom and up to 2 children on the sofa bed in the sitting area. They are designed as self-catering accommodation. Fosse Paddock Studios is in a quiet, rural location close to the picturesque Vale of Belvoir and easily accessed from both the A52 and A46 roads and just outside the village of Cropwell Bishop, which has amenities. Adjacent to the studios is a filling station with a small shop, where provisions can be purchased. Within 2-3 miles are the towns of Cotgrave and Bingham, both of which have a variety of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. The city of Nottingham is 7 miles away, which can be reached by bus from Cropwell Bishop, Bingham or Cotgrave and there is a Park & Ride facility at Shepherd’s Restaurant in Stragglethorpe , 3 miles away, with regular bus services into the city centre. A detailed directory of the local area, listing amenities and places to visit, is available in each studio.
We have no immediate neighbours .Fosse Paddock studios stand off a short private road. Apple green filling station are close by with a small shop and are due to be redeveloped to include a coffee shop and breakfast facilities in the next few months. Bingham is only 3 miles away which has major supermarkets and many eateries and takeaways catering for all tastes.

    Large family home , offering spacious , modern and comfortable accommodation. Close access to major roads M1 and A1 and only 20 minutes drive into Nottingham also a good regular bus route
    Walking distance to local shops , lovely country walks in Country Park or canal tow path or woods . There are 2 pubs in the village Cotgrave Leisure Centre with a gym , swimming pool and other sports facilities. There’s a chip shop and Chinese takeaway on the precinct.

    Our home is within a beautiful village in the Vale of Belvoir. You’ll love staying here with the village feel and lively local pub. The room is a private access annexe attached to the main house which would be great for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
    The annexe has a vaulted ceiling, a small kitchenette (has a microwave but no other cooking facilities) and a well proportioned en suite. Guests have access to fast wifi and parking. Great if you are looking for a relaxing break in village surroundings.
    Harby village is lively with a pub serving food 7 days a week, a cafe and a local shop and garage. It's a beautiful, friendly village with walks and bike rides directly accessible.

    The Annexe is secure and safe and in a beautiful location in the Vale of Belvoir. Cropwell Bishop and Colston Bassett creamerys are close by that produce famous Stilton cheese.
    The Annexe is a very peaceful rural retreat, great for relaxing and enjoying the counryside. It is also well situated close to amenities with local pubs and shops a few minutes away. The local pub allows dogs in the bar area and serves good food. Further afield there is nightlife and shopping in West Bridgford [15mins], Newark [20 mins] or Nottingham City Centre is less than 30 mins.

With walks on the farm land and surroundings, local village pubs, cycling along the Grantham canal or in the Vale of Belvoir.     The cottage style living space has a separate entrance and is attached to the main house, but separated by a utility room. It has one modern double bedroom, spacious living room which opens onto a patio overlooking fields and hills, with elevated views. A modern bathroom with walk in shower, large kitchen with electric stove, microwave and essentials. There is excellent high speed WiFi throughout the property. Outside has ample parking for 2 cars, a small private, sheltered paved garden surrounded by various flora which is ideal for a bbq or just relaxing. On a free range dairy farm, that supplies the local dairy with milk which is used to make the finest Stilton cheese. Easy access to green belt walks on your doorstep.
    Hickling village has the Wharf tea room on the Grantham canal, the Plough Inn pub which serves local food, the Tap & Run which is a modern gastro pub is two miles away serving delicious food & cocktails. The Vale of Belvoir has plenty of quaint villages and is ideal for road cycling and numerous village pubs along the way, including Belvoir Castle & Langar Hall. Walkers have plenty of choice with Kinoulton 2 miles away, historic Vimy Ridge and the Grantham canal.

    The annex is a modern, new space in a clean environment. It is situated in the pretty village of kinoulton
    The annex is newly built to suit our airbnb customers. It offers a kitchen, living area, bathroom and bedroom. All furniture is completely new and we have installed modern features, such as an automatic tap and the mirror in the bathroom to double as a speaker. There is a double bed and sofa bed and we are pet friendly.
    The village of Kinoulton is a friendly village with lots of nearby cycling and walking routes, great for dog walking. The Grantham Canal runs through Kinoulton which can be a beautiful walk. Kinoulton is nearby to Nottingham, Loughborough, Grantham, Leicester, Bingham and Melton Mowbray. Within a 2 minute walk, there is The Neville Arms, a popular pup. In the nearby village of Hickling, it hosts The Old Wharf Cafe, situated next to the canal basin, and The Plough Inn. As well, there are 2 dairy’s nearby, in Long Clawson and Cropwell Bishop.     Local Sainsbury’s, Co-op, shops, pubs, and take-aways are a short walk. There is an excellent Bistro and Indian restaurant within a short walk within the village. The British Geological Survey with a free, fantastic "geological walk", a shop selling books, maps, minerals, fossils and jewellery is a 10 minutes walk / 5 minutes by car.

You also have a tea tray in your room with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. For young families, your room will happily accommodate your own travel cot / bed. The village has a great pub too!
    Beamed ceilings, two fire places and quirky cottage features, a sympathetically newly decorated bedroom with solid wood furniture and 100% cotton bed linen for your to sleep soundly in. We have a Collie dog and a young family of two children, aged 4 and 2 years old. Our bedrooms are on the other side of the house so you won’t be disturbed! Just 20 minutes away from Nottingham, Leicester and Melton Mowbray on the edge of the Vale of Belvoir, so called for the Castle which is also 20 minutes away. We are only 1 1/2 miles away from a dual carriageway yet nestled in English countryside.
    We have great pubs locally with great walks and views around us. We love living here and hope to share it with you too!

    Our Bottom cottage studio room is in a converted barn next to the main farmhouse, in the centre of Cotgrave village, 10 minutes from Nottingham. It is a ground floor room. It has a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Ensuite shower/toilet, shaver point. Hypnos double bed and single bed. Wardrobe with ironing board and iron. A camp bed can be added for an extra child at £10.00 per night. Breakfast is available on request at £7.50 per person.
    We do allow dogs at £5 per night per dog which is payable when you arrive.

    This oak framed open plan studio has a vaulted ceiling with large windows and oak beams, giving it an alpine lodge feel.   • INCREÍBLE: ¡No puede fallar de ninguna manera! Estancia absolutamente perfecta, desde el hermoso alojamiento y los pequeños extras especiales hasta el amable encanto del pueblo y el viernes a la noche, Pizza Pals. Una cálida bienvenida por parte de Linda, y una habitación muy cálida a nuestra llegada. El estudio es impresionante por dentro y por fuera, las camas eran muy cómodas, y la cocina y el baño eran perfectos. ¡Nos encantó especialmente que tenían un reproductor de vinilo con varios vinilos para elegir! Un gran PLUS para nosotros es que los perros están permitidos aquí, así que Luna también se quedó y conoció a Wally. El pueblo tiene algunos edificios preciosos, y fuimos a dar un corto paseo por el canal antes de regresar a casa. Sin duda recomendaría a cualquiera que visite la zona.

    Hose Lodge is a traditional farmhouse in the tranquil vale of Belvoir. Outside there are farm buildings and stables, paddocks and an orchard together with formal gardens round the house. It is in a secluded location with great views. The annex is a separate unit to allow privacy and convenience to our guests.
    Accommodation is a self-contained annex all on ground level with its own entrance. It has one large twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, spacious sitting room with TV and free Wifi. There is a small kitchen equipped with fridge (with ice box), microwave, kettle and toaster. There is an additional put me up bed suitable for a child, please inquire for prices.
    There is much to explore locally in this unspoilt part of the English countryside with great walk/cycle routes and local pubs. Belvoir Castle, Belton House, Ragdale Hall spa are all nearby. Rutland Water and Stamford are also within 35 mins drive. Twinlakes Park is 15 minutes drive. We are situated between two villages, both of which have a pub and are 10-15 minutes walk by footpath.

If you are bringing more than one car please park other vehicles around the corner in the car park for The Unicorns Head. This is a family home and not suitable for party type events.
    Lovely private annexe with two bedrooms. There is a kitchenette that houses a small fridge, tea/coffee, microwave and toaster. Ironing board available and bed one has a hairdryer. TV and wifi also available. Bed 1 has a double bed whilst bed 2 can have up to 2 single beds.
    The Vale of Belvoir is a much visited location, with Langar Hall just down the road. We also have beautiful countryside to explore. The annexe is located on a quiet residential street. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby. It’s a quick 25 mins to Nottingham or Newark.

  • El Annexe es un gran espacio: impecablemente limpio, espacioso, luminoso y cómodo, con buenas comodidades, como Sky TV y una mesa de billar. Angela respondió a una reserva de última hora y correos electrónicos subsiguientes muy rápidamente, se acomodó en el horario de check-in y se reunió con nosotros en la propiedad, nos dio un recorrido y nos dejó con bollos recién hechos, té y leche fresca, que fue un regalo de bienvenida después de un largo viaje. Fue solo una breve estadía, pero estaríamos más que felices de hospedarnos nuevamente y lo recomendaríamos a cualquiera que quiera visitar la zona. Gracias angela

  • Wow, tuvimos una fabulosa estancia en Willow cuando nuestro paracaidismo fue cancelado y reprogramado para el día siguiente. Muy conveniente para el aeródromo de Langer. El anexo independiente es hermoso, peculiar, (Me encantan los moldes de jalea de color claro) relucientes, a los niños les encantó la mesa de juegos y muchos otros juegos de mesa, libros, revistas, ¡podríamos habernos quedado por una semana! Un increíble espacio luminoso de 2 plantas con entrada privada. Ang, eras adorable. Respuestas súper rápidas después de que reservemos tan tarde en el día y una cálida bienvenida. Muy recomendable gracias. Estancia de 2 adultos 2 niños xx.

    You will have your room which has a TV with freeview and also use of a bathroom privately. We also allow access to the Kitchen but please be aware we live here too so will be sharing the space
    The house is in a lovely village but as it is in the country most things will need to be driven too. Town is only 15 mins away though and West Bridgeford town centre is 10 mins aware.

St John Divine currently serves the village and dates back from 1892 and is centrally located in the village, replacing the old Norman church of Saint Mary ( now a ruin) on the hill at the edge of the village

There is a super king size bed or 2 single beds option for sleeping. Modern kitchen. Parking on site (off street). On a regular bus route to Nottingham city centre. Large garden/patio for you to enjoy. Wifi and Freeview TV. Good local amenities.
    A self contained ground floor annex, providing a very private place to stay. The accommodation comprises of a lounge/dining room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. You are not overlooked in all directions. There is ample on site parking availability. We have a lovely private 1/3 acre garden with a patio/pond area, vegetable/greenhouse plot and mature trees to front and back. The decoration/fittings are modern, and to a high standard. The bedroom has a super king size bed, which can be split into 2 single beds if required. The kitchen is state of the art with a ceramic hob, built in oven, microwave/grill, extractor fan and fridge. The bathroom includes a good size walk in shower.
    Keyworth is a thriving medium sized village, positioned south of Nottingham, just off the Nottingham to Melton Mowbray road. Keyworth has three decent sized grocery shops (Sainsbury's Local and 2 xCo-op) two easily accessible on foot. There's an excellent fish and chip shop/restaurant, indian restaurant/takeaway, chinese takeaway, pizza takeaway and cafes in the village. There are a selection of pubs (4 in easy walking distance) all of which serve food. There is a library, newsagent, butchers, bakers, DIY store in Keyworth. Really there is no need to travel far to get what you need to assist you during your stay. We also have an NHS dentist and Medical Centre in the village. There are also excellent local sporting facilities in Keyworth - Golf club, tennis club, table tennis club, bowls club, bridge club, gym/swimming pool and a Leisure Centre/swimming pool.

    The accommodation we would like to welcome you to is the top floor of our victorian semi detached house in the centre of Bingham, a lovely small market town in the Vale of Belvoir with cafes, pubs, shops. A bus service every 15 minutes takes you into Nottingham and the train station is in easy walking distance. There is no separate entrance and we do have a friendly young spaniel. The stairs are steep up to the bedroom so would not be suitable for the very young or infirm.
    There is a lovely bright double bedroom and a second (bed) room with an ensuite shower room. Both rooms are for the exclusive use of guests as a suite. So you can spread out and relax in your own private space. It is possible to accommodate a family group as there is a second double bed but access to the shower room is through the second bedroom. There is a fridge, kettle, with tea and coffee making ingredients. Towels and bedding are included. A continental breakfast can be provided on request. The pretty town garden is available for the use of guests on a sunny day.
    Our house is within a two minute walk of the market square with its coffee shops, bars, shops. There is a market every thursday morning in the square and farmers and craft markets throughout the year. Belvoir Castle is only a few miles away. Bingham sits at the crossroads of the A46 which takes you to Newark or Leicester, and the A52 which takes you to Grantham or to Nottingham.

    The Wheatsheaf is a Grade 2 listed Inn built around 1779 in the market town of Bingham. Family owned and run we aim to give all of our guests a warm and welcoming experience. Your room has been recently converted from what used to be the landlords accomodation and we have incorporated modern must haves such as ensuite bathrooms and wifi with beams and wonky walls. Enjoy breakfast on the terrace in summer or a boozy coffee by the log fire in winter, whatever the season we have something to enjoy!
    Our Inn consists of a bar with accomodation on the 2 floors above. We also have a restaurant in what used to be the stables and an adjoining ourdoor terrace. We have won CAMRA awards for our choice of ciders and also have an ever changing variety of cask ales along with homemade meals available in our restaurant and bar.
    The Wheatsheaf is situated in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir (pronounced beaver) famous for the stunning Belvoir Castle which can be visited in the summer and which holds a variety of events and festivals. Bingham is a market town and markets are still held regularly in the market place around the historic Buttercross. If cheese is your thing we are a short drive to Long Clawson, Cropwell Bishop and Colston Bassett dairys.

    Each unit is capable of sleeping up to four guests, typically two adults in the bedroom and up to 2 children on the sofa bed in the sitting area. To enjoy the quality of accommodation not suitable for 4 adults. They are designed as self-catering accommodation. Fosse Paddock Studios is in a quiet, rural location close to the picturesque Vale of Belvoir and easily accessed from both the A52 and A46 roads and just outside the village of Cropwell Bishop, which has amenities. Adjacent to the studios is a filling station with a small shop, where provisions can be purchased. Within 2-3 miles are the towns of Cotgrave and Bingham, both of which have a variety of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. The city of Nottingham is 7 miles away, which can be reached by bus from Cropwell Bishop, Bingham or Cotgrave and there is a Park & Ride facility at Shepherd’s Restaurant in Stragglethorpe , 3 miles away, with regular bus services into the city centre. A detailed directory of the local area, listing amenities and places to visit, is available in each studio.
    We have no immediate neighbours .Fosse Paddock studios stand off a short private road. Apple green filling station is close by with a small shop and is due to be redeveloped to include a coffee shop and breakfast facilities in the next few months. Bingham is only 3 miles away which has major supermarkets and many eateries and takeaways catering for all tastes.

Whatton has good transport links and is only 3 miles from the busy market town of Bingham with its local shops, amenities and larger supermarkets.
    Little Wayside is a contemporary, well-equipped, bungalow in a peaceful countryside village ideal for weekend breaks, walking, cycling or just chilling. We have Wi-Fi in case you can't quite cut yourself off! There is a newly-fitted luxury toilet/shower room with heated towel rail. We provide large fluffy towels too. A large, light, open living space has a TV, a DVD player and a large selection of DVDs. The really well-equipped, luxury kitchen/breakfast area is complete with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven/gas hob and a large fridge/freezer. There is gas central heating for cosy all year round comfort. At the end of the day there is a comfortable double bedroom with a TV and radio alarm clock. A large bed-settee in the living area can be easily converted into a very comfy additional double bed for additional guests. In the morning you can help yourself to a range of breakfast cereals, some croissants or bread with tea and coffee to start your day - there is a Nescafe 'Dolce Gusto' coffee maker available too.
    Whatton is a quiet, picturesque village in the Vale of Belvoir. There are many attractive and distinctive houses in a range of architectural styles - we recommend a relaxing walk around the village to enjoy the neighbourhood. There is a small-holding opposite Little Wayside and you can often hear a variety an animals including, geese, sheep and cattle. See if you can find the Alpacas amongst the horses in the local paddocks.

    Fosse Paddock Studios are 4 modern, clean, purpose built, self-contained ground level studio apartments in a countryside setting with secure parking. These will accommodate 2 Adults & possibly 2 small children. Each studio is open plan and includes a king sized bed, wardrobe, 2 free view TV's, kitchen area with cooking facilities, spacious bathroom, large walk-in shower as well as sofa bed. The kitchen area includes, fridge/freezer, combination microwave/oven, hob and most utensils.
    Each unit can sleep up to four guests, typically two adults in the bedroom and up to 2 children on the sofa bed in the sitting area. They are designed as self-catering accommodation. Fosse Paddock Studios is in a quiet, rural location close to the picturesque Vale of Belvoir and easily accessed from both the A52 and A46 roads and just outside the village of Cropwell Bishop. Adjacent to the studios is a filling station with a small shop, where your everyday items can be purchased. Within 2-3 miles are the towns of Cotgrave and Bingham, both of which have a variety of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. The city of Nottingham is 7 miles away, which can be reached by bus from Cropwell Bishop, Bingham or Cotgrave and there is a Park & Ride facility at Shepherd’s Restaurant in Stragglethorpe, 3 miles away, with a regular bus services into the city centre. A detailed directory of the local area, listing amenities and places to visit, is available in each studio.
    We have no immediate overlooking neighbours. Fosse Paddock studios is situated off a short private road. The Applegreen filling station is next door with a small shop and are due to be redeveloped to include a coffee shop and breakfast facilities in the next few months. Bingham is only 3 miles away which has major supermarkets and many eateries and takeaways catering for all tastes.

Nestling on the edge of the Vale of Belvoir, surrounded by picturesque gardens and beautiful woodland views. Ideal for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. Providing high standards each self catering cottage comprises living/dining room and well-equipped kitchen. One double, one twin bedroom with linen and towels included. Bathroom and separate shower. Cot/highchair available on request. Ample free parking. Sorry no pets. ETC 4 stars.
  • Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en la hermosa cabaña de Jane por una semana que superó nuestras expectativas. La cabaña estaba impecablemente limpia y más grande de lo que esperábamos. Jane ha decorado cuidadosamente el interior a un alto nivel que refleja la atmósfera de la casa de época. La ubicación es tranquila y pacífica, con varios paseos claramente señalizados alrededor de la granja en funcionamiento y sus lagos. Jane había pensado cuidadosamente en tarta casera recién horneada, queso local, pastel de carne de cerdo, flores frescas y vino, que fue un espectáculo bienvenido después de un largo viaje desde los Estados Unidos. Lamentamos irnos y sin duda volveremos.

  • ¡Nos encantó nuestra estadía! Jane estaba pensativa en los preparativos, incluso tenía pastel casero esperándonos. La cabaña es exactamente como las fotos mostraron: bellamente decorado, cómodo y acogedor pero espacioso, y una cocina con todo lo que necesita para cocinar. La chimenea era un buen extra con leña gratis.

  • La casa está ubicada en un lugar rural, tranquilo y hermoso en una gran granja. Es el lugar perfecto para relajarse, cerca de la A46 / A52, lo que le permite explorar la zona con una gran cantidad de lugares para visitar a poca distancia en coche. La cabaña es espaciosa y tiene todo lo que pueda necesitar para una estancia corta o más larga. Nos volveremos a alojar cuando volvamos por allí.

    The Wheatsheaf is a Grade 2 listed Inn in the market town of Bingham. Your room has recently been renovated from the former landlords accomodation and offers modern essentials such as an ensuite bathroom and wifi along with beams and wonky walls. Family owned and run we offer a warm welcome and the service we would hope to find ourselves. Enjoy our terrace in the sunshine , our log fires when its cold along with homemade meals, cask ales and ciders and a comprehensive Gin list whats not to love?
    The front of our Inn houses our bar with 2 floors of accomodation above. At the rear is our restaurant converted from the old stables along with our outdoor terrace. Please note that all accomodation is via stairs and so may not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
    The Wheatsheaf is located in the beautiful Vale of Belvoir (pronounced beaver) famous for the stunning Belvoir Castle which is open through the summer and hosts a variety of events and festivals through the year. Bingham is a market town and the market is a regular feature around the market place Buttercross. If cheese is your thing we are a short journey from Long Clawson, Colston Basset and Cropwell Bishop dairys.

    Beautifully situated in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, this property sits amongst other cottages and period houses with a village outlook. The biggest advantage is that being a small market town, it is only a five minute walk to the centre of Bingham with all manner of shops, markets and public transport plus the added bonus of a gym/swimming pool five minutes in the other direction. Parking outside the house, is available and free.
    My little cottage is 200 years old and would have once been the gardeners cottage, although sadly no garden but there is a sunny terrace in the front to sit out . It is therefore full of character but quite SMALL with low doors and oak beamed ceilings. It is one of the original '2 up, 2 downs' from around 1800 and in recent years was modernised and a small toilet/shower room added. It has been decorated and furnished in keeping with the period complete with some antique furniture and knick knacks so is not suitable for very young children. You do actually sense the history in the ambiance. The kitchen is just big enough for 4 to eat round the table and the living room cosy, especially when the log fire is blazing away in the grate. Situated in a little no-thru road literally just off the main centre and market square of Bingham, it is quiet but a great base for the local shops and easy access to Nottingham. Fine for 4 people (max )if not to tall!! It is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years due to the danger of small antique knick knacks and the step into the shower. A baby, not yet crawling, could be accommodated if you have a cot. On foot the centre of Bingham is just a few minutes walk with all facilities including a library and doctor's surgery. There are supermarkets (late opening), hairdressers, florists, bank; post office, bakers and butchers and many restaurants and of course superb Fish and Chips! At the top of the road is a Leisure centre with swimming pool. On Thursdays there is a market in the square. Bingham is rurally situated amongst fields and small villages. There is free parking outside the cottage - its never a problem to find a space as normally only residents use the road. It is a small market town nestling in the countryside but only 20 mins drive to Nottingham or to Newark. The old town of Lincoln can be reached to the North and Derby to the South. If you wish to stray further afield you could reach the famous cobbled town of York or walk round the stunning architecture of Cambridge. There are many pretty villages around in which to walk or cycle and maybe a pub lunch. How about the cricket at Trentbridge? There are trains to the seaside or maybe you would like the caves in Derbyshire. In Bingham itself the local pubs do good food by big open fireplaces or visit one of the many restaurants. The leisure centre is always a good all weather alternative to a bike ride. There are many outlying protected areas of natural beauty and bird life. Inside there are two bedrooms and a shower room/wc upstairs. The main bedroom has a King sized bed and the second bedroom, a double bed. Central heating and hot water is of course available at all times. We provide unlimited fast fibre extra wifi and also the local library (5 minutes away) provides computers/internet free of charge by the hour. SMOKERS may smoke out on the terrace (with ashtray) but in no circumstances in the property itself. It is not only a fire hazard in a wooden beamed property but also unpleasant for non smokers that may follow you. Transport Flights into East Midlands, Birmingham or Luton Car using Motorway M1 or A1 and then the A46 or A52 Train or Bus from Nottingham centre Car is advised for exploring the area although the buses to Nottingham and nearby villages are fast and frequent. No helipad available - you wish!
    The neighbours are wonderful within this village community. Please do not hesitate to draw on their help and advice if needed. We are a small market town in a rural setting. The cottage is set in a conservation area with other period homes in the street and those surrounding. However there is a market every Thursday and all manner of shops just 5 minutes walk away. There is even a LLidl and Aldi on the outskirts - maybe 15 minutes walk. The local pubs and restaurants draw many folk from around abouts and with Wetherspoons offering superb quality and a roaring fire (in winter) you cant go wrong.
