Lugares para alojarse en Forks
Secluded cabin in pristine wooded setting on the banks of the Bogachiel River, located midway between Forks and the Hoh Rain Forest, half-hour from beaches and trails of Olympic National Park. Double bed/ queen futon/ airbeds. Riverbank fire pit.
The Bogie Bungalow is located in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula, with easy access to all major trails and sites Olympic National Park provides ~ mountains, rivers and wilderness ocean beaches. Check "Guest Access" for some of my favorite places! Altho no TV, the cabin does have a DVD/VCR with a large supply of movies. Wifi exists but is weak. Electric "fireplace" in the living room. Outside campfire wood can be purchased from roadside vendors or in town.
Just walking down the road (Hollow and Kallman) is a lovely, tree lined experience. There are few residents in the neighborhood - mostly just fishing access camps - so it is quiet. During the summer, inner tubes are at the cabin for floating the river or swimming in the "hole" in front of the cabin. Elk and eagles are frequently seen, with elk occasionally in the yard.
  • Excellent accommodations in a beautiful serene setting. We picked a very wet weekend, almost flood conditions, and the river was roaring, but we had a great time nonetheless. Would love to come back in the summer and tube down the bogie.

  • The listing description sent our dreams spinning when we booked the place and reality even managed to exceed our expectations. The cookies were an immediate win after a long day driving with a toddler! What a perfect little getaway. I found myself jealous of others who were able to stay longer (from reading the guest book) and we immediately started planning our return trip for an extended stay in the area. We were grateful for the pack-n-play and the comfy towels and bed. The setting just cannot be beat for a small party getaway.

  • This little rustic cabin was exactly what we'd hoped for! Very cozy and welcoming. If it weren't raining almost nonstop (which was expected, of course) we would have made good use of the riverside fire pit - maybe another time!

    Floris2015-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Truly awesome cabin right on the river. Loved our 3 day stay. Stephanie has thought of everything.

    Kim2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • so happy to be able to call this little oasis "home" as we explored olympic national park. stephanie was a wonderful host, providing tons of advice and suggestions about the area to make the most of your time there, as well as making sure the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. we would definitely stay here again and hope to come back someday soon!

    Paige2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Stephanie's cabin is very close and convienently located to the highway yet it feels very secluded which is what I was looking for. It's close to a lot of great outdoor activities and she has a lot of tips and information regarding how to get the most out of your Olympic Peninsula experience. The yard overlooks a river and would be amazing during the summer. During November it was pretty to look at from the inside of the cozy cabin. The cabin was wonderful and a great place to rest and recharge after a day of exploring. I would definitely come back in the future!

    Rita2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was a cozy little gem! Filled with books, hiking guides, and hot cocoa, I could have stayed a month. The Hoh Rainforest is a short drive, and is a must-see. I will definitely be back!

  • The cabin was very clean and cozy! We arrived at night which made it a bit more challenging to locate, but we made do :) Overall, it suited our needs very well and if we ever find ourselves in Forks again, this will be the place we stay! Thank you! -Alexa

  • The Trapper's Cabin was outstanding! Super cute and very private. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Such gracious hosts. They were very responsive to any inquiries we had and displayed great hospitality. Very close to Olympic NP. Highly recommended!

    Seth2018-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • This little compound is cozy and well stocked. Amenities surpass what you'd expect in the middle of the woods. Kitty's communication was A++.

  • We had such an amazing time here at Huckleberry Lane! This was our first time staying in Forks so we weren't sure what to expect. First off, the location is super easy to find and is in a convenient spot, centrally located easy to get to town or out to the highway. You follow a well groomed dirt road to the entrance. Very easy self check in and friendly greetings by Mick when you pull in. He gave us a quick run down of the place and all the amenities. We were also greeted by elk, chickens, and Mick's side kick pooch. You can tell you are in a different world disconnected from your normal life, it's so great. The cabin we stayed in, the Trapper, was super cute. Furnished with a microwave, coffee pot, mini fridge, sink, king sized bed, electricity, tv, and wifi too. There is plenty of space between cabins so you get good privacy. The bathrooms are a close walk also equipped with showers and a sauna. There's a community fire pit and cooking area as well. Great place to gather around the fire and chat with people. Bill the owner and Mick are great hosts, and a joy to talk to. They are very welcoming and provide some rich history and wisdom about the area. I heard some amazing stories that really made me appreciate the Olympic forest. I wished this place would be kept a secret as this is such a great find!! Wonderful spot to unplug and just get away from your normal busy life.

    Reina2016-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was a perfect base for exploring the Olympic National Park. It was nice to come home to such a cozy place. Bill was really kind and hospitable, making coffee and amazing pancakes for breakfast, and telling us about the area.

    Kelly2016-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabin was located on a lovely piece of property at the end of a quite road. It was clean and well equipped with an awesome bed. Breakfast by the fire was a treat with fresh hard boiled eggs and toast options one morning and fried eggs and pancakes on Sunday. We had a very nice evening sitting by the fire talking with the other guest one evening. Comes highly recommended.

    Holly2016-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • A big thank-you to Kitty, Bill, Mick and Gabu for their very warm welcome and hospitality. Trappers Cabin was a delight and the location was just beautiful. Campfire breakfast included with fresh eggs and pancakes - what a way to start a day. The location is within easy driving of the Hoh Rainforest and La Push beaches. The huge comfy bed was such a treat and the fridge, wifi, sink and all the little extras in the cabin were so thoughtful. My friend and I really enjoyed just sitting on the front porch and relaxing after our hikes and we both commented that we wish we had another few days there. I will absolutely be staying in the cabin again next time I come down and wholeheartedly recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thanks again!

    Amanda2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Kitty and Bill's place was one of the best AirBNB experiences I ever had due to their friendly hospitality but also due to the uniqueness of the location. This a cross between camping and staying in place where you have everything. If you were inside the cabin, there was a comfortable bed, refrigerator, TV, etc. And step outside and you had coffee next to the camp fire. Such a great experience!

  • Kitty, Bill and Miss Goat were great hosts. The tent is really cozy and warm. The cowboy coffee and breakfast around the fire was great! You'll love it!

    Jaime2016-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • The tent was cozy and exactly as described. I had a great weekend and would absolutely come back or recommend the spot to friends!

  • We had such a lovely stay in the Falcon Tent at Huckleberry Lodge. The tent was spacious and warm, making for a great night's sleep. The bathroom/shower was a short walk away and very clean. The communal campfire was a wonderful gathering place for guests and we enjoyed visiting with Mick and Bill. I would highly recommend a stay at Huckleberry Lodge in any tent or cabin. We hope to visit again!

    Amanda2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem in Forks! The Huckleberry Lodge was a perfect place to land after several days of travel around the Olympic Peninsula. Kitty was there to greet us when we arrived at the beautiful location with tall trees and lovely grasses. The common areas were great, especially the fire pit, which was blazing in welcome. The bathroom/shower areas were extremely clean and had all the necessary items (hairdryer!). Our tent was just darling and the cots were quite comfortable with extra mattress padding and warm, snugly blankets. We will definitely come back to the Huckleberry Lodge!

    Paquerette2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • WOW! What a beautiful place. We literally saw a heard of elk sauntering through the woods as we made our way to the bathroom to brush our teeth in the morning. Bill and Kitty are fonts of knowledge and gave us tons of information about the best hikes to do in Olympic National Park. The tents are warm as can be (the propane heaters are great, and the tents are super insulated), and we really enjoyed the morning campfire.

  • The Wood St guest house was the perfect home base for our Olympic National Park vacation. It was so cozy and Dylan and Justin have thought of everything you might need or want during your stay. The location was within easy driving distance of everything on the peninsula that we wanted to see. The decor in the house was also super cute, with lots of natural elements and plants, as well as a nice landscaped yard for hanging out. Thanks for a great week in one of the most beautiful places in the world!

    Juan And Liz2015-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Dylan and Justin's guest house was a perfect place to call home (for a few days)! The space was large and comfortable – with all the amenities, including a full kitchen, living room, games, books, and more. We really enjoyed staying here and would absolutely stay again!

    Robin2014-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • The guest house was perfect for our quick stay, I wish we could have had another night there to take full advantage of the surroundings and its kitchen! It was the best place to cozy up and thaw out after a long drive peppered with drizzly hikes. Plenty of hot water for both of us to enjoy thaw-out-baths, too.

    Melissa2015-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is a wonderful space, well equipped and really well apportioned. Very cute. The bed was super comfortable - the pull-out sofa bed was pretty uncomfortable. Other than that I would highly recommend this cottage to others. Dylan and Justin were responsive and great hosts.

This Cozy house is in the town of Forks while being close to all city amenities such as restaurants, shopping, hiking, site seeing, beach combing or even surfing. Enjoy many great aspects of this quaint little town and come back to this amazing place to relax.
This house is a spacious but small 1 bedroom house often called a mother in law house. It is located directly behind the main living quarters. This house has a full kitchen stand up shower with toilet and sink, dining area and separate living room. We provide a DVD player with an array of different movies and a small tv for your use.
We have minimal neighbors but the main house is located next door to the little house. Down the road we have a free range chicken farm and also a dog sanctuary.
  • Their place was adorable and homey. Everything we were lookin for for a a quick mini vacation. Will definatly keep them in mind if we come back to the area.

    Andi2017-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Place was just the right size for 3 adults and 2 children , 4 and under. It was very clean and had equipment and supplies for cooking. Location was perfect. We visited Rialto Beach on the first day and Hoh Rain Forest the next. Host was very responsive.

    Pam2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Darlene's place was exactly what we were looking for after hiking in the national park! Clean, easy to find, not too far away from the center of town. The bed was very comfortable, the wifi worked great, we watched a movie from the dvd collection available, all in all a great stay!

    Mansi2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay here. Jose was extremely accommodating and responsive. The location was great as we explored Olympic National Park.

    Lisa2016-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Darlene's place is an excellent--and much more private-- alternative to the motels for a stay in Forks or to use as a base camp to explore Olympic National Park. It's very conveniently located, easy to check in/out of, and very professionally set up: very well maintained and clean, with all the amenities to make for a very comfortable stay. Hosts live right next door, in case there are any issues. The only down side is that we only spent one night here! :)

    Cristina2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Roligt sted, lidt afsides, men alt ok!

    Torben2018-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • This spacious, 1-bedroom guest house was so perfect as a central location for all the exploring there is to do around Forks! It is beautifully decorated, feels very private, has a kitchen with all the tools/utensils you need, and is easy to find/get to! Darlene and her family were delightful hosts, and really allowed a ton of privacy while also being super pleasant and easy to get a hold of. I highly recommend staying here, and would stay here again myself. Nearby things to explore: - Hoh Rainforest - Ruby Beach - Tree-root Cave - Second Beach - Third beach - Rialto Beach (walk the beach to Hole-in-the-Wall at low tide)

    Emily2018-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Darlene's place was awesome! It the perfect size for my wife and I's day trip to the peninsula, and it was very cozy and private. The location was central to all the things we wanted to do, which included visiting La Push and the Hoh Rain Forest, so nothing felt "out of the way". They had everything we needed, communication was clear and checking in/out was a breeze. We would stay here again!

  • This loft was an incredible get away. Located on the river, nestled in the forest, it was perfect for recollecting ourselves after a very long hike in the Hoh rainforest. We were warmly greeted, given some amenities to utilize the grill, and were assisted with the bonfire pit. After touring the beautiful property and little trail, we built a fire, drank wine, and listened to the sounds of the forest late into the night. We all had a great sleep and woke up to grill breakfast on the river. The loft was perfect for us 4 adults, comfy, clean, and had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Olympic!

    Joshua2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • What a great little place! Rhonda was very welcoming and helped us find our way when our GPS wasn't working. The place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. Rhonda left bagels for us as well as the makings for coffee and tea. The rental is close to everything and the perfect place for our two-day stay on the Olympic Peninsula! I would definitely recommend this place to a couple or a small family.

    Lara2016-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • The place was very clean and comfortable. I especially love the location and the thick forest surrounding the entrance. Rhonda was very welcoming and always quick to respond to messages. Would gladly visit again :)

    Pavel2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Rhonda gave us a warm welcome and a tour and answered all our questions about the area. The grounds are lovely with a beautiful garden and pond in a private setting. The loft studio is on a river. We kept the window open at night to let it lull us to sleep. Rhonda provides breakfast bagels and there is a convenient mini-kitchen. It was a serene and tranquil stay, the perfect stop after a day of sightseeing on the western side of the Olympiic Peninsula.

    Vanessa2016-07-03T00:00:00Z

Sol Duc Cabin is a 1 min stroll from the Sol Duc river. We have an adjoining cabin that can be rented for bigger groups. Very family friendly with grassy areas to run around. Located between the town of Forks and all of our area's ocean beaches!
Our cabin is on the same private property as our home so we can quickly accommodate guests if needed but are far away enough from the house with trees in between for our guests to still have plenty of privacy. It is set up as a studio apartment. (No separate bedroom)The main space includes 2 double beds, futon, tv, dvd player, bathroom, and kitchenette including a medium sized fridge. THERE IS NO STOVE but includes an electric skillet, microwave, toaster oven, and fire pit outside. The room also includes wifi, a TV with directv, lots of dvds, and a few games and puzzles for those rainy days! —we do have a farm dog in training who is a year old and very friendly! We do our best to keep her away from the cabin but she loves to say hello. If this will be an issue for anyone PLEASE let us know and we can take further action to keep her away. Thanks!
Our property attracts all sorts of wildlife. We have visitors such as deer, elk, rabbits, raccoons, bald eagles, owls, etc. The cabins are a 1 minute walk from the river where you may also see fish, ducks, otters, etc. We are approx. 8 minutes from Forks, 5 minutes from 3 Rivers restaurant and store, and approx. 10-15 minutes from the ocean beaches. There is an adjoining cabin that I like to keep available for people who want a little extra space or have a little bit larger group for an extra $75 per night that can be arranged through me rather than Airbnb.
  • Amy's cabin was everything we could have hoped for. It was meticulously kept, and she even took it in stride when we inadvertently showed up early. The setup of the cabin provided a good middle ground between access to the host (being that it is on the same property as her home) and the privacy and solitude of being separated from the house by some nice big clusters of trees and shrubs. I should also mention the convenience of the location. Although the town of Forks doesn't have a ton to offer, it is very close and certainly has all the essentials. On top of that, the cabin is a short drive from Third Beach trailhead and makes a good jumping-off point between there and the rain forest. It was perfect for our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a similar experience.

    Alexandra2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Very spacious for just the two of us, but could accommodate more. The kitchen was equipped with a fridge and microwave which we used. The location gave us easy access to the hoh rainforest and la push beaches before continuing our trip up to Port Angeles.

    Lindsey2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, cozy cabin in a beautiful setting! Amy is a wonderful host who's thought of everything. From the fully stocked kitchenette to the games and DVDs for a relaxing evening, this place has it all. Perfect location for trekking to the rainforest or beaches. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

    Lara2017-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Amy was a wonderful host. The property was accurately described. It was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. This was the perfect spot for an adventure out to Olympic National Park.

  • Our stay at Sol Duck Cabins was perfect. The cabin was very clean and roomy for our family of four. The land near the cabin is beautiful, right near the Sol Duc River. It was a short drive to the beaches and also convenient to Forks and many Olympic NP areas. The wifi was intermittent but that was a small price to pay for such a great place to retreat to after a day of hiking. I would definitely stay here again.

    Laurie2016-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable and quiet cabin in a nice setting!

    Janet2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Amy's cabin. The interior is clean and very beautiful, with wood floors and walls. It is in a quiet, peaceful, secluded location with a huge front yard. A short walk across the lawn took us to a gorgeous trail in a lovely forest along a creek. We used the fire pit in front yard to cook hot dogs (wood and kindling provided), and loved looking at the stars at night. Amy always responded quickly to our questions and requests. The cabin is a one hour drive from the spectacular Hoh Rain Forest, and less than 30 minutes from Rialto Beach. There is a great grocery store with healthy and organic options a few miles away in Forks. We highly recommend Amy's Sol Duc Cabin to anyone who wants to stay near Olympic National Park.

    Chuck2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nice and quiet! The cabin was beautiful and the scenery matched. My sister and I did a puzzle and got a great night's sleep. I'm not sure when I'll be in WA again, but if I find myself on the Olympic Peninsula I'll definitely be looking to stay another night at the Sol Duc Cabin! 😊😊👍🏼👍🏼

  • Debbie's place is a quiet, cozy getaway with amazing scenery. The king-size bed was very comfortable and warm - great for those chilly nights! The bathroom was spacious and it was nice to have those little extras like soap/shampoo and a hair dryer. The kitchen even came stocked with breakfast items, although we decided to eat at the local diner instead. The highlight was the beautiful surroundings - a view of the pasture and forest right from the room, the drive up to the house through amazing moss-covered trees, and the adorable friendly calf in a pen near the house. We loved everything about our stay!

    Katherine2017-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Debbie's husband Kevin greeted us and gave us a tour of the accommodations so we could settle in. Kevin told us stories of the property, the type of animals and wildlife they regularly encounter, and other stories about living in Forks - the stories were a treat to hear! Debbie was busy taking care of her mother the day of our arrival, and checked in on us later to make sure we were satisfied. The room is a super accommodation! The bed is enormous and very comfortable - a nice treat as a mid trip stop for campers to Olympic National Park. The kitchenette is really well stocked and functional with coffee, tea, cups, plates, utensils, a toaster, a microwave, and more - this made making our own dinner with some groceries bought in town very easy.

  • We had a wonderful stay in your beautiful property. The highlight for our 17 month old son was petting your young calf. Perfect location to see Hoh rainforest as well as La Push beach.

  • Debbie & Kevin were great! The apt was super clean and had many extra little touches to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable! Their home is in a quiet beautiful area which was very peaceful and we loved hearing the river flowing! This was a great place to base our vacation around the Olympic Nat’l Park. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!!

The home was spacious and well-appointed especially for Twilight aficionados. Nice goodie basket with lots of special treats and beverage options. Beds very comfortable. Great location near lots of Olympic National Park sites. Close drive to Hoh Rainforest, Ruby and Rialto Beaches, Sol Duc Hot Springs and Fall AND to Neah Bay through Sappho to the northwesternmost point in the continental U.S. Cape Flattery Trail is a hidden gem and a highlight of our trip.

  • This was the perfect place for us to stay for the night while exploring the Olympic National Park. There was a nice little basket with snacks, coffee and teas and a cute welcome sign when we walked in. The kitchen was fully equipped for us to make a nice homemade dinner that night. We had one problem with the wireless internet but Rachele was easy to reach and fixed the problem as soon as she got home from work. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept like babies!

    Kathryn2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I took a trip to visit the Olympics and we were not disappointed. The house was great, and the little touches like having pans, dish soap, and treats on the counter were greatly appreciated.

  • Rachele and Jake's place was clean, very welcoming and very affordable. We really appreciated the small touches- we were welcomed with a handwritten note and a basket of goodies. The kitchen had every tool you could imagine, and there were extra towels and blankets. Theit place was easily accessible to all of the Olympic Penninsula's natural beauty. What a great place to spend Christmas!

Though the Park boundary is two miles from here, the Hoh Visitor Center is a 40 minute drive. Wildlife is protected by Conservation Easement and Elk Sanctuary and is powered entirely by alternative energy. It is 20 minutes to Forks, but 50 miles to the next residence walking east. The Flying S is an elk refuge, conservation area, salmon stream, on site Bogachiel River access less than ¼ mile Walk to Glacier National Park, Olympic, Canada or Mexico on the National Scenic Trail System. This cabin is situated in an elk reserve, nestled among old growth trees and looking out into large open meadows which were burned out of the rain forest by Native Americans and Olympic Pioneers.Cell phone for ATT customers and subscribers to that infrastructure should enjoy excellent cell coverage owing to American Tower located on the ridge above the Dowans Creek Road. Verizon antenna's are currently not on the tower and you may have to go to the high point of Dowans Creek Road to reach coverage to the Verizon tower half way to Forks. For your convenience and for emergencies, the Meadow Cabin is equipped with a landline phone linked to chiggers' cell plan. Talk on the phone goes against the owner's minutes so please keep your calls to five minutes or less. The telephone number for the Meadow Cabin is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and you may receive calls or have messages put on the answering machine. But please keep calls on this line to 5 minutes or less to conserve chiggers' cell plan. Internet The Meadow Cabin has DSL (a slow 3mb/sec), but should work for streaming video. There is Ethernet connection available directly through the WiFi router. And the Wifi password is: chig1234 (small case) Electricity: The Meadow Cabin has it's own stand alone photovoltaic alternative energy system. The tall tractor barn southeast of the cabin (known locally as “The Tower of Babel”) is home to the 600 watt solar array, inverter and battery bank which comprise that system. You are welcome to explore the technology by self tour and chiggers is usually available for more in depth tours and discussions of alternative energy. In times of less sunshine, the Meadow Cabin is powered off the Flying S Farm power grid which is the combined power of Hemp Hill (yep, that's it's name) Creek (running east/west, just south of the Meadow Cabin) and a separate 1kw photovoltaic scheme. It is extremely expensive producing power on this wilderness interface and frequently demand can overwhelm the supply of alternative energy requiring the running of generators. Please, please conserve power by turning off the refrigerator if you are not using it and turning off all lights when not in use. Currently, streaming video and dvd/vcr are offered through a power hog tube tv set (saving money to buy a flat led screen). Please turn off when not actively searching for or watching a show. Please consolidate all laundry if doing a load and it may cause an outage. Usually, power outages self correct in less than 5 minutes. If not, contact owner by cell phone or come to main cabin 800 feet south east of Meadow Cabin. Mice and other pests: There are occasional mouse infestations and are being monitored and dealt with by the host. This is the wilderness interface with a conservation easement on it to protect wildlife. Mice are an extremely important part of the food chain and these meadows are their habitat. The Meadow Cabin is a rustic cabin and the portals for a mouse snoot are many. Less mice will be drawn inside and, in turn, more wildlife will be fed and less necks snapped in mouse traps if you, dear guest, keep your food and garbage secured. Water: Water on the west end of the Olympic Peninsula is some of the purest in the world. This news from Olympic National Park who conducts several water quality studies from the Hoh drainage. The West Meadow Cabin has it's own hand dug well and penetrates a shallow water table in the meadows and creek channel just outside. The last tests were conducted 15 years ago, but showed consistent pure and safe water. In winter or plumbing disruption, the cabin may go over to gravity feed from the Creek and should not be drunk untreated owing to the universal presence of giardia in surface water. Sinks will be signed as such if this is the case. The hot water to the tub/shower takes 5 minutes and the pressure from the instant/tankless heater is poor. Sorry about that. Drink all the water you can on this trip. You are more than 60% water. If you drink enough, you can be over half Flying S Farm when you leave. Fire, heat and stove: Firewood is not provided and can be purchased at the grocer in Forks and sometimes along Hwy 101, but wood smoke is a pollutant and hangs in this valley, particularly on cold, clear mornings characterized by stabile air. Please note where the fire extinguishers are and make sure smoke and CO1 alarms are plugged in and/or working. Please be extremely careful drying cloths with stove or propane heater. In case of fire, first use the extinguisher (don't inhale dry chemical), then assure your exit; then call 911 and report 2572 Dowans Creek Road is on fire; if you can safely do so, attack fire with hoseline just south/east of cabin; otherwise stand back and cabin will be burned to ground when fire department arrives. Safety and security: Your safety is the greatest priority of your host. The Flying S Farm is, by most standards a safe environment. But the wilderness interface environment presents different challenges and risks than you may be accustomed to in the developed world. For example, few of us consider the risk on the highway driving here. Many guests are exploring trails and beaches where one may get cut off or stuck with a dead battery at a lonely trailhead. Leave word with a responsible party about your intended hikes and, if you want your host to do anything, you need to furnish your plan, trailhead, license plate and vehicle description and what time you want what to happen if you do not return. Most structures on the Flying S are left unlocked without incident. The green key can be used to secure the west door and the east door. Your host is ex- law enforcement and prepared to represent law and order until the deputies arrive, usually within 30 minutes of the call.
History of the Flying S Farm The Flying S Farm is a 18.5 acre remnant of the 160 homestead settled by German immigrant Otto Siegfreid. Named within a few years of the Wright brothers' historic flight, the name carried a modernity that barely found its way this far into the wilderness interface. At the dawn of the 20th century, one residence existed upstream of the Flying S. Ranger Chris Morgenroth, likewise a German immigrant was the first white man to settle in the upper Bogachiel Valley. By 1891,. Morgenroth and some settlers nearer Forks, had built a trail across what would become the Flying S, to connect the Hoh and upper Bogachiel with that frontier town. At one point there was a tavern/brothel and rental cabins at what is now a boat launch a few hundred feet removed from these 18.5 acres. Reduced to 40 acres, the property was acquired in the 40's by the Howard Goakey family who lived on this land and adjoining properties until around 1970. In 1978, Chiggers Stokes working as a Park Ranger for Olympic National Park, acquired this remnant of the original homestead and electrified the property with his own microhydroelectric scheme. Chiggers and his ex-wife raised a daughter on this property in a cabin on the east (upstream) end of the parcel. In 2000, retired from the Park Service, Chiggers built a 3,000 square foot, four bedroom house, but his family fractured a year later. The bedrooms are listed through Air BnB and the Forks Chamber of Commerce. The Meadow Cabin was built on the foundation of the Goakey farmhouse and provides hostel type lodging for hikers, bikers, fishermen, or “lonely planet” adventurers. The cabin built and occupied by Chiggers and his ex-wife will be available for nightly, weekly or monthly rental starting in March of 2017. Because of it's significant wildlife habitat and census, The Flying S Farm was protected with a strict conservation easement managed by the North Olympic Land Trust in perpetuity. The land became part of a de-facto elk reserve ordained by neighborhood compact and posting. Hemp Hill Creek runs through the farm and is one of the premier Coho salmon spawning creeks on the West End. Located two miles from Olympic National Park, and now the furthest upstream residence, the Farm offers outstanding opportunities for wildlife viewing, silence, viewing alternative energy in action, and hiking. It is possible to walk from this farm all the way to Canada or Mexico on the National Scenic Trail System. There are many choices for lodging in the Forks area. Some may offer more elegant linen, a finer breakfast or less obstreperous/more dependable utilities. There is NOWHERE on the Peninsula where one can get so close to Nature and the memory of Olympic Pioneers...and still sleep in a pretty comfortable, clean bed. In the past five years, the owner struggled surviving major illness and now struggles to hold onto this farm in the face of soaring medical costs. Your visit helps the owner to remain owner of his life's dream. For your patronage, the owner thanks you.
  • If you are looking for a place off the beaten path and an upgrade from camping, this is a great place with great location, birds and wildlife

    Jim2017-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Chiggers home is rustic as it is mentioned. It could need some things done but you can stay in the country and it is very lovely there. We watched the elks in the evening and in the morn' as they walked by our window. You can hear to the music of the many birds and have a good time.

    Anja2017-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is in a beautiful setting and very close to all the great wonders of the Olympic Peninsula. It is a basic cabin but has most everything you need. Chiggers is a very friendly and hospitable host.

    Shella2017-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • I would definitly recommend this Airbnb. Chiggers was very friendly and our room was very comfortable.

    Lena2017-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was excellent. Easy directions to follow to the property and great communication from Chiggers. The cabin was clean and cozy.

    Matthew2017-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Chigger's cabin. He was very communicative once we booked - making sure we understood it was a rugged cabin that conserved energy and resources. We enjoyed our time out on the porch and relaxing in the beautiful meadow where it was located, and even got to see elk at sunrise passing by. He gave us a warm welcome and was close by in case we had any questions. The proximity to the Hoh rainforest and the beaches for exploring was great and we would recommend this cabin to those exploring the western side of the Peninsula.

    Amanda2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was quiet and secluded and elk were seen grazing outside, but only in the early morning. Host was knowledgeable about the area and recommended wonderful hikes. There were no flies or mice. The stove malfunctioned, but host offered other cooking options. Another stove was in place by the time we left. Smoke alarm needs to be properly installed. Of the three bedrooms, only master bedroom had windows that opened. Other than this, there were 2 small windows near the dining room table, and 2 small windows in the bathroom that opened. Most windows were either painted shut, or never intended to open.

    Jeffrey2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time a Chiggers. We had the opportunity to see elk from his place. Netflix is included. Great price would stay here again.

  • I only stayed one night in Raven's Tent but it was so comfortable I'm sure I would have been happy staying for more. Beds were extremely comfortable and cozy and the tent had plenty of room to move around in. Towels and toiletries were much appreciated! The bathroom was spotless and the water pressure in the shower was surprisingly good. Very much enjoyed my pancakes and free range eggs at breakfast!

    Jenni2016-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful setup and location. Beautiful site nestled in the forest. Everything was super clean. Highlight was the breakfast of pancakes and free range eggs from the on site hens! Note that the listing showed as an "amenity" 24 hour check-in is actually incorrect. We subsequently informed Edward and his dad of the mistake; they said they would update the Airbnb listing. Overall, we really enjoyed the stay! We really wished that we would've stayed more than one night. We hope to be able to visit again sometime in the future.

  • Obsessed with huckleberry lodge! So beautiful and relaxing. Campfires, hot tubs, warm showers - was great

    Hannah2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Getting greeted By Mick Dodge as we pulled in, and staying in the tent next to his yurt, was beyond cool! I am a natural movement personal trainer and I was mesmerized by his earth gym. Next time I'm coming for a week and hiring him to train me! Wish we could have stayed more than one night.

    Penny2016-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying in the Raven Tent at the Huckleberry Lodge. We were greeted upon arrival and Mick showed us around the site. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and just what we were looking for during our tour of the Olympic Peninsula. While we didn't have a chance to stay and mingle long during breakfast around the campfire in the morning, we found it to be a very nice touch. We would definitely recommend staying at the Huckleberry Lodge for anyone looking for a rustic, fun experience!

  • LOVED our stay here. A quiet and magical oasis, with incredible hosts! Not to mention breakfast was amazing! I cannot wait to come back and stay here again. My only regret is that our group only stayed one night!

This is a bedroom/bathroom within our permanent home, located in the northwest corner of our house. We are 1.5 miles east of downtown Forks; approximately 30 minute drive to Rialto and LaPush Pacific Ocean beaches. Forks is a good place to refresh, refuel, recharge, and restock, offering a choice of restaurants, grocery/hardware stores, gas stations, coffee/espresso spots, library, Laundromat, churches, post office, and a herd of friendly, helpful people. (sorry there's a couple cranky ones)
The NorthWest Room is a private bedroom within our main house, in close proximity to common areas(main living room and kitchen). This is our permanent residence so I am generally on site while hosting, or within minutes away. I can be contacted quickly by text message. The guest room accommodates a single guest only, with one double/full size bed, storage space, and a private bathroom with a shower/tub.
We are located in a quiet neighborhood, with natural sounds from roosters, cows, elk, birds, and trees growing. Our house sits on nearly 1 acre; along a private unpaved dead-end road with 6 other houses occupied by families. An elk herd grazes through our neighborhood occasionally, often bedding down in pasture directly across the road from our yard.
  • Rita's home is very cozy & comfortable-- I had everything I needed! She is also a very thoughtful host & I really enjoyed chatting over breakfast. Great location for exploring the Olympic area! Thank you! :)

    Rachel2017-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • Rita's house is a beautiful space. Her and her husband are SO friendly, helped me with everything I needed, and welcomed their home to me graciously. I had to leave at 3:30 a.m. She had breakfast and a note ready to welcome me in the morning. Forks is a beautiful town, I cannot wait to stay with Rita and her husband again!

    Katelyn2017-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely homestay in quaint Forks. Rita was a sweet, accomodating host, providing a kind welcome, clean room and bathroom (not attached but right next to the bedroom) and good guidance for the area. She even provided breakfast, which was quite unexpected. She respected my privacy and went out of her way to make my stay work well, like making extra ice for my small cooler for day trips, providing ziplock bags....the little things that really make it feel like home. Thanks, Rita!

    Kim2017-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • The space was clean and comfortable with an artsy, homey feel. An added perk was having a private bath. The location was easy to find and both Rita and her husband Mark were very welcoming. I would stay with them if ever in the area again.

    Linda2016-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts, Rita and Mark, made this place spectacular. The town itself is small which I was expecting but this was the perfect home away from home for my trip traveling around the Olympics. Rita and mark were warm and welcoming and down to earth and the room and bathroom was comfortable, clean and exactly what I was looking for. I could not express enough how happy I am to have stumbled upon this gem of a place and meet these kinda and wonderful people.

    Elizabeth2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Rita is amazing! This visit was way more than I expected. I wish I could've stayed longer.

    Hollie2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful time in Forks, and Rita's home was perfect for my stay. It's is very clean, and very quiet. She has really thought of everything. The location of her home in Forks is super convenient, as the center of town is only a few mins drive away. You can also reach multiple beaches within less than 30 mins. Rita was very helpful without being intrusive, and I would definitely stay again if ever back in Forks!

    Stephanie2017-07-03T00:00:00Z

  • We found a little note on our door. And when stepping in, from the rain outside, it felt so nice and rustic. With another small note and a little tray with some fruit and sweets. Really cool decoration and the theme was full on in every room. Kitty was very responsive, and the space was nice and clean, the photo's show you exactly what you get. We had a wonderful stay there and would stay there again if we are in the neighborhood.

    Cathrijn2016-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was very nice. It was cleaner than a hotel room and certainly much nicer than any hotels in the area.

    Scott2016-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Huckleberry Lodge is a pretty fantastic place to stay. Super close to the center of town, it's a great base to explore that part of the Olympic peninsula. The cabin was super cute and self check in was really easy. Kitty left me very detailed instructions as soon as I booked about how to get there and how to check in. The fire pit is fantastic - you can sit there any time and also grill/cook some food. They even had farm fresh eggs for us to use. Highly recommend this place.

    Janice2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is very cute. Warm and snug on a cool early Spring evening. The kids enjoyed the treats left for us. The bedding was really comfortable and the unit was in good repair and clean. This property is self check-in and check-out. I would stay here again in the future or recommend it to friends.

The HydroRoom is our most affordable room with all the basics you need. It is perfect for one or two people who want to enjoy a beautiful natural setting at a low price. A single bed with trundle option and a desk that runs the entire length of the room and wifi makes this a great space for anyone needing to get some work done, perhaps writing or researching your next hike, and then get some outdoor time to recharge.
  • Accomodations are homey with a variety of options for privacy and size of party. Setting secluded and lovely. Should your standards require a finished environment beyond clean bed, linens, kitchen, you may not be pleased. But for us Chiggers warmth, accomodations, most reasonable prices will lead to plan a return.

  • This place is just how it is described. That's what I loved about it. Perfect base camp for any adventure outing. Your away from everything yet not to far. I have an interest in solar power and self-sufficient living. I got to see it in action. The come and go as you please feeling works perfectly with other quest. You meet people from everywhere. Yet your not in anybody's way. I needed Ideas on where to Hike and Chiggers know everything in the area. John

  • Chigger was amazing! I really enjoyed my stay. I definitely recommend. He is kind, warm and super knowledgeable of the area. He used to be a ranger and can give great recommendations on hikes and beaches! He is also really close to everything! Great place and will be back

    Lindsey2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Chiggers is very friendly and knowledgeable about Olympic Natl Park. Offers tea/cereal in the morning and sends you off with snacks and good vibes. Was also able to do laundry and shower. All in all a great stay.

  • The Flying S Farm is off the main road, and off the Grid. The setting and the facilities represent all elements for off the grid living. One has to be slightly open minded and prepared for off the grid living, although everything was working like a charm for our brief visit to the Flying S Farm. The common area was great for creating an evening meal. Chiggers had all the breakfast fix'in options ready to go. along with a great cup of coffee and a banana smoothie to start the day. The common area seems very busy when you first enter, and plates are set for breakfast and the counters are loaded up with items to make breakfast flow easily. Once you see though all that then it becomes real comfortable and feels like home. Our room was large, private, clean, well appointed and very presentable and bathroom was equally well presented. Chiggers provided great insight into local history, area development and options for making the most of a visit to the Rain-forest and coastal beach area. We were lucky enough to meet some of the neighbors who also share the joys of off grid living. It was a great time and we will find a way and make the time to return at some time in the future. If you are looking for a special place to go and be a little off the beaten track, away for the classic hotel/motel scene then Chiggers has a nice bed and nice spot to connect with nature and the rain-forest. The Flying S Farm is a special place that is created and delivered by Chiggers who has his heart and soul into the place. It is a real joy to experience it all and learn from it.

    Randy2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Chigger's place is easily in the top three of the most interesting places I have stayed through AirBnB. This is an ISOLATED location that is more than a little off THE GRID (in more ways than one). Still, it is a comfortable home with an ingenious means of creating its own power. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the power grid and getting a tour of the operation. This may not be for everyone, but I totally dug it. The surrounding property includes numerous other interesting homes. There is a small herd of elk on the (very large) property that I was able to watch graze merely yards from the home. How do you beat that? If you want to experience a bit of independent American living and ingenuity, are willing to be open-minded, have a sense of humor and maybe some patience, you will enjoy your stay. I loved this place.

  • Warm and inviting house in a really beautiful location. Definitely would go again.

    Kendall2017-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great host and great location. If your looking to go and explore or get away from your daily routine this is the perfect place. You have Forks, the Hoh Forest, beaches and several state parks near by. I recommend doing some research before coming out I didn't realize that I needed a discovery pass for Most of the parks. This cost me some time and a drive back to forks to print out my pass. I also recommend filling up before you head back and call it a day.

  • We very much enjoyed staying in this cozy apartment. Ronald was very welcoming and hospitable. The apartment was spacious, clean, and included a small kitchen. Ronald provided snacks for breakfast and gave us access to his beautiful backyard space. The apartment was close to a few restaurants in town and about a 30 minute drive from the stunning Rialto Beach. A nice and comfortable space with a very pleasant host!

    Will2017-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • The house is centrally located in Forks with easy access to surrounding attractions. Sol duc falls is about a hour away and the Hall of Mosses is about 35 to 40 minutes. I loved how cute the house is. Ronnie and Teresa left water in the fridge, oatmeal, coffee and snacks for us. The bedroom is very comfortable and warm with several movies to watch when you need some downtime. I especially love how the place is decorated and the outside space as well. The home was spotlessly clean and quaint. This was a great experience and i would definitely recommend staying here.

    Kara2018-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great communication! Clean, cozy, with full use of back yard area. Ronald offered many suggestions of must see places. Very accommodating!

  • Great, clean and cozy spot. Very private and hospitable hosts. Highly recommended.

    Sandy2017-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Ronnie's house was a very easy landing pad en route to Hoh Rainforest. The section of the home is newly renovated, with a big bathroom and lots of great water pressure. Ronnie availed us of his gas grill in the backyard, so we could do some grilling when we arrived to town. All parts of the house were clean, and scented lightly of lavender.

    Jen2017-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great cozy stay right in town in Forks - the perfect base to explore the western side of Olympic National Park. Ronnie and Teresa were great hosts and the space was clean and comfortable.

  • Accommodating, hospitable, lovely host & stay!

    Lydie2017-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • The space was very clean. I love the fact that it was close to the Rainforest. Ronald left coffee, oatmeal, and granola bars which were excellent for a quick breakfast. The traffic noise was a little louder than I thought it would be - but overall it was an excellent stay.

  • Best trip ever! Loved every minute of our stay. We couldn't have been more impressed with the amentities, cleanliness and hospitality. Thank you for everything!!

    Danielle2016-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible place to stay. All of the people are kind, helpful, and good souls. The place is exceptionally clean and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here!

    Nicole2017-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Overflow tent #1 was much better than we were expecting - we booked it as an affordable accommodation in Forks for our visit to the coast, but it felt like full-on glamping! The joys of sleeping outdoors with the comforts of a hotel. The cots were very comfortable and the whole experience was great. Only 20 minutes to the amazing beaches in La Push and Rialto. The morning breakfast really put our experience over the top - tasty eggs and pancakes (or french toast) next to the campfire, with great coffee. They even had secret aardvark hot sauce for the eggs! Then they shared local tips for everyone hoping to see the local wonders. Really enjoyed the stay, and will be back when we come to Forks next.

    Michael2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful. Be sure to check in early enough to meet everyone and get the tour. Go to the river! It's a 10 min trail away and worth every step. Breakfast was wonderful and had amazing conversation with other guests. Never felt crowded even though the property has multiple accommodations

    Beth2017-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • The overflow tent was even better than expected. We were greeted warmly by Mick who gave a tour and had a cozy night in the tent. Campfire, hot tub, sauna, and warm showers were very welcome after a week of long hikes and drives. The best cowboy coffee and pancakes to top it off. Thank you Kitty, Bill, and Mick.

    Sara2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Kitty's place was a perfect place to stay in Forks. Sitting around the campfire at night and sharing experiences, getting recommendations for explorations was great. It made the stay very unique. The mango pancakes in the morning are fabulous!

    Jessica2017-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed staying here! You are close to the beach and the rainforest and you have everything you need. Having coffee and a light breakfast with the hosts and their pet goat around the campfire was my favorite part!

    Trischa2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the luxury camping experience, beautiful grounds, and nice amenities including covered campfire ring and hot tub. It rained all night but we stayed completely dry and loved the sound of rain on the tent. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming.

  • This place is awesome. Angela is very kind and responsive host. Great value!

    Jae Wan2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • The rental home was on a very quiet street great for resting after hiking and going to the beach all day. The place is centrally located between Hoh rainforest, Sol Duc and Lake Crescent areas of Olympic Nat'l Park, and also all the beaches along the Olympic Wilderness Coast. Our favorite was Ruby Beach we went to twice. The home was safe for our 1 yr old baby to run around in. Wifi worked great but little cell reception. Angela was always available but we didn't need anything during our stay.

    Russell2017-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was a treasure to find and Angela was so accommodating! Very clean, awesome hospitality and lots of space. We loved it!

  • This place is awesome and well taken care of. Angela is great.

    Carl2018-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Angela was responsive to our needs and maintains a clean place. The space is much bigger than we expected which was great - even though we did not need all that room. The heat worked fine, no issues with the water pressure or temperature, and there was coffee and oatmeal for the morning. The house is located away from 101 on a quiet street. No issues with neighbors or noise. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to the area who want to spread out and not stay at a motel.

    Erik2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect location for visiting Olympic National Park. We loved being able to catch up on laundry and prepare simple meals here while on our three week road trip!

  • Amazing location that I would recommend to anyone. This is the perfect home base for anyone wanting to explore the olympic peninsula and enjoy the comforts of home. Angela is a great host and was always a call or text away if we needed anything. Lots of beds for bigger groups but also great for a couple of people.

  • My wife and I woke up on a Friday and decided we’d like to get away on a moment’s notice. Found these campers and Mitchell wrote back right away. After an easy booking Michell took the trailer to our desired campground and secured the camp spot and left us a brand new trailer to use for the weekend! Had everything we needed, towels, coffee pot, plates, cups, nice blankets. We really couldn’t have had such a nice weekend in a tent and probably wouldn’t have even gotten a space as we had to drive to the Olympic Coast from Vancouver BC. The campground was full when we arrived so to me, that’s part of the service... securing the campsite. I’ll definitely rent from Mitchell again.

    Craig2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing experience. We camped at the hoh oxbow campground and it was the most serene and beautiful time that we’ve had in a while. I would suggest you carry enough fresh water and use the rv for minimum necessities. We were 5 adults

    Manali2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Mitch made everything very convenient for us to check in and use the camper to it’s full capacity!! He came out of his way to set us up with the perfect kayak float trip that led us right back to the campsite. He was very nice and definitely knows the area. Glamping is the way to go: hot shower, microwave, stove..this was really a pleasure and in a beautiful place. My wife and I had a blast, thanks Mitch!

    Ian2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome camping experience! Fantastic camper, very clean and had everything you need. Mitchell is a great host, excellent communication and local camping recommendations. Would definitely rent camper again.

    Olivia2018-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our GLAMPING experience! The camper was exactly as shown in the photos, and provided a comfortable stay. The host offered us numerous options for delivery and we ended up staying 40 min from the Hoh Rainforest. Also, good communication with the host was appreciated.

    Laura2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was a really nice experience for me and my family (first time RV campers). Mitchell answered us on a really short notice, found a perfect spot for us and waited quite a while because we were late due to our 2 toddlers (sorry about that again!). I would love to try it again when the kids are older.

    Dominic2018-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Nothing like a camping experience to appreciate the Olympic Northwest!! Mitchell sets it all up so there’s no work to do- just enjoy. Clean campers with AC and heat, awnings, and you need to create memories. Enjoy fishing, hiking and the great outdoors. We will be back!

The Shack is a great place for people who want to go camping but don't like the hassle of tents. Bald eagles, river otters and elk are common animals seen around The Shack. A wood stove will keep you warm at night, you just need to bring the bedding!
    - larger groups welcome (plenty of tent space) - Three sided PRIMITIVE building with rolling doors on the front - Not "airtight" (can be drafty at times) - small wood stove inside - fire pit outside - bank fishing access - no running water - no electricity - cement floors The Shack is a great place to channel your inner camper! Enjoy your quiet evenings under the stars. Take a walk around the property and bask in the shade of mossy maple trees. The beds are wooden single person bunk beds with mattress pads. Although, we have had numerous guests sleep two smaller adults on the two bottom bunks. The two uppermost bunks are slightly shorter than the others. You bring your own bedding. If you need sleeping bags, please ask. The Shack is cozy. It is not full of extra space for hanging out. The purpose is to provide a shelter for sleep and spend your days outdoors. There is no electricity so lighting is limited. We provide a lantern. Bringing a flashlight or headlamp is advised.
The Shack is located five miles north if Forks on the banks of the Sol Duc river. You must pass through a quiet neighborhood to get to The Shack which is located in the woods. We are building a cabin roughly 100 yards away from The Shack. You will see this on your drive in. It won't be worked on while you are there we just want you to be aware that it is there.
  • We greatly enjoyed our stay at the shack and would highly recommend the place for anybody wanting a rustic camping experience with the added benefit of solitude and a warm dry place to hang out. Lots of rain fell during our stay, along with a surprising rise of the river level, but thanks to the owners kindly checking in with us and sharing knowledge of the locale, we slept soundly without a worry. The shack was perfect for us!

    Kimberly2015-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Our fishing weekend was incredible. Very good communication from the get go. Staying on the river in a rustic shack only added to the pleasure to the trip. The hosts were very hospitable and would highly recommend to anyone for a weekend fishing trip or simply to get away. Thank you for everything for we will certainly return.

  • We had a lovely 2 days at The Shack. The property is magical and the Shack is inviting and charming. The kids enjoyed playing in the river and exploring in the woods, and just being free. We all loved the quiet and peaceful landscape. We hope to return again someday soon.

  • This place is beyond amazing! I can't explain how amazing it is to come from a Miami lifestyle and stay in this secluded shack. It has everything you need to have great family time! Saw many bald eagles every morning and evening, roasted marshmallows and did a BBQ! Will deffinetly stay here again when I come back, the host we're very friendly and great communication the whole time!

Traditional 8-room B&B with full breakfast. King beds, private baths, TV, DVD players, Wifi, small refrigerators. We fill in as the "Cullen House" from Stephenie Meyers' "Twilight" books, but not the movies.
Private room in 3-story, 1916 historic farmhouse. Each of the 8 rooms are unique, with different amenities. All rooms have a king bed, private bath with tub/shower, TV, DVD player and small refrigerator. WE DO HAVE A CAT, SO BEWARE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES!
We are located on the edge of Forks (population 3500), about 6 1/2 blocks from the main street. The inn is bordered by pasture land on the east and south sides, our neighbor's 1 1/2 acre yard, then City Hall on the west side and East Division Street at the front of the house on the north side.

  • Bill was so nice, we were arriving late at night due to a crazy storm in the Peninsula and he called us to make sure we weren't in any kind of trouble. He greeted us by name and stayed up late to make sure we were okay.

    Megan2016-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at the Inn is awesome!!! Bill and Susan are extremely nice and very attentive at all times. Had many talks with bill during my stay here. Loved the breakfast each morning. The room and bed was amazing and very private , as well as quiet. If I am ever in Forks again this will be the place I will stay. Thanks again guys. Also let Bill know if you see any starfish at the beach. I saw one at La Push and at least a hundred at Ruby beach during low tides in the am....this place is very central to everything you would want to do in forks, I hiked the HOH Rainforest and visited the beaches on my way around...great place

Perfect rental for a family or group here to hike, hunt, or fish. Large yard, quiet corner in a small neighborhood. Ample parking for boat or large trailer. Fully furnished with enough room to unwind and regroup while you enjoy the West End.
Our rental is a two bedroom, one bathroom duplex with full kitchen, washer and dryer, one car garage, and a large yard. There is ample parking for someone with a boat or trailer. We are a short walk from the city park, and close to the center of town, but on the quiet corner of a small neighborhood. There is a TV with some DVDs, but no cable or wifi. The local grocery store has additional movies for rent. We add books, magazines, puzzles and games as we come across them. We also have a board with some maps, restaurant menus, and local information to help you during your stay.
This area of the world is still remote and mostly free from stress of city living. Not a lot of noise, very little traffic, and even less pollution. We enjoy the scenery and the proximity to beaches and forests, rivers and mountains. In less than an hour, we can have our feet in the ocean or be starting up a mountain trail. In exchange, we endure lots and lots of rain.
  • Wonderful stay!

  • Nicole is very fast in responding and her place is exactly as described in the detail: got all the basics you need for your stay, quiet and conveniently located, and plenty of space (kitchen, living room, 2 full bedrooms). I love the tips she put on the wall about local attractions, because of that, I finally got to go visit the Duncan Cedar. A nice quiet stay overall. :)

  • Nicole非常热心周到,房子收拾的很干净很整洁,日用品一应俱全,地理位置很好找很安静,离镇中心非常近,周围的环境相当好,如果有洗衣机和wifi就更完美了

  • Great place for stay in Olympic national park

    Min2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Nicole's place for few days while we hiked around Olympic National Park. The location was perfect for branching out to different day use areas, while Forks is big enough to find whatever you might need. With four adults, lots of groceries, and sweaty hiking clothes; it was really nice to have the whole duplex with kitchen and laundry all to ourselves. Coffee and a freezer full of popsicles were an added treat!

    Sara2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Our family of four had a wonderful stay and wish we had stayed longer. Very spacious and all we needed. Really perfect location for seeing the park.

  • Great spot and Nicole is great!

    Benn2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We stopped for a night in between Hurricane Ridge and the Hoh. Place is well-stocked with towels and toiletries and my husband enjoyed the otter pops. The bed we slept on was not comfortable, but my dad slept fine. Nicole was responsive.

This rustic home is located on the Beautiful Bogachiel River. Guests are welcome to view the incredible country scenery; from abundant trees to the shimmering waters of the river. Also seen wandering about are chickens, a cat and a few well behaved dogs. The dogs and cat are inside part of the time. We are located 1/2 mile from the boat ramp by the Bogachiel bridge for those who love fishing the river. This home is located between 7 and 10 miles South of Forks...thank you for considering us.
We offer a continental breakfast, but would like to know in advance if you are planning to partake in it, or even prefer to make your own, or plan to eat out. We have WiFi, but are working on the signal strength at this time, and if you don't mind visiting with some of us there is TV in the living room. There are 2 bathrooms both shared.
  • Perfect location to explore the Hoh Rainforest and surrounding areas. Lovely people. Thoughtful touches. Comfortable beds.

    Tammy2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • It was summer so we left the windows open - and fell asleep to the gentle sounds of the Bogachiel River flowing nearby. Good hospitality, spacious room and bathroom (shared bathroom). The home is also handicap accessible. Delicious muffins for breakfast.

    Don2018-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place and delicious breakfast. Every one is friendly. (Hidden by Airbnb) map will not tell you accurate position but the landlord will.

    2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • I am so happy that I found Cristy's place! You can't beat the location - you are in prime position to explore the Hoh forest and coastal beaches. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Cristy provided me with clear, easy directions and I had no problem getting there. However, be careful if you use (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps, it may not get you to the right place. Use Cristy's directions and you will be fine! I much appreciated the yummy muffins and fruit in the morning, that I could grab and go in the morning to get my adventure on. It was nice to fall asleep to the sound of a nearby river and the bed was comy. The room is spacious and would be fine for four people (though I was solo). One last thing - the chocolate lab is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet.

This getaway place is located on a lavender farm just south of Forks, WA. Located just steps away from the Elk reserve and the Bogachiel River, it is perfect for fishing, hiking, bird and wildlife viewing and most importantly, relaxing and enjoying nature. As a bonus, you are only 4 miles south of the Forks city limits, so shopping and enjoying the events of the town are only a short drive away. The Hoh rain forest is only 10 miles south, a must see for any visitors to this beautiful territory.
The place is located on a working lavender farm. During the late spring and summer months, the air is full of the wonderful lavender fragrances. Be sure to ask for a tour of the farm operations. The trailer is only 2 years old with very little use. It has heating and air conditioning, microvave, stove with oven, refrigerator, available barbeque, open fire pit and outdoor seating. The private bedroom sleeps 2 and the sofa converts to a bed as well. TV is not hooked up to cable, but can be used with dvd's.
The neighborhood is secluded and quiet, but just minutes from Forks, The Hoh Rainforest and the majestic Ruby Beach, a must see.
  • Paradise! We had big plans to use this as our base camp in order to explore the area but we were quickly drawn in by the beauty of the immediate property and surrounding walkable river. We had a day all to ourselves on our own private riverfront! We all slept well at night - so quiet! The kids loved being able to have a fire outside and burning a bit of dried lavender kept the mosquitoes away. This place is a little slice of heaven!

    Blake2018-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • We were amazed with this place. We enjoyed the cosy RV and were able to cook several meals from it's kitchen with ease. The farm that it's situated on is such a neat place. It's adjacent to a river that is devoid of any signs of development or humans, which is a great experience for city folk like us. The fire pit that the host set up was easy to start and use, and the firewood is ready to go. We will recommend this place to friends and family.

  • The location was perfect for the running around we did on the Peninsula. Easy access just outside of Forks, wonderful hospitality, thoughtful amenities, comfortable and quiet location. Juice and fresh eggs along with coffee were provided for breakfast. Flowers, cookies and chocolates upon our arrival. The bedding was so soft and there were extra towels available. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, silverware, bbq utensils and pots and pans. It was an easy stay and we felt very welcome on the farm. Thank you for being such great hosts.

    Leora2018-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic hosts with lots of special touches! We enjoyed the secluded area, tour of the lavender farm, proximity to the reserve area, breakfast items, homemade cookies, and the convenient location for seeing the rainforest section of Olympic National Park. We received great tips for sites in the area. We purchased some of the lavender products while we were there and are enjoying them immensely. We definitely recommend booking with Gayle and her husband!!

  • What a great location! Beautiful river! Excellent view of the stars! Hosts were so sweet to bake cookies and provide fresh melon and juice! Most relaxing sleep of the whole trip! Thanks again!

  • This place was my little slice of heaven. Beautiful location, fresh air, scenic, quiet. Terry was a wonderful host; great communication - he made sure I had everything I needed for a restful stay. Cookies, scones, goodies for breakfast and fresh flowers on the table. The trailer was clean and fully stocked with anything you could need. Sitting by the fire, I was able to fully relax, listening to chirping birds and the nearby river. Great location for exploring the National Park. Great stay! Highly recommended.

Rainforest Rest is in a quiet neighborhood with pastureland and a creek across the rural country road; it is close to 'downtown' Forks (about a mile). This serene home features a quiet front porch, cozy covered deck and a reflective pond area. This can be your retreat before and after visiting Olympic National Park sites such as the Hoh Rain Forest, ocean beaches, the many rivers surrounding the Forks area and/or Twilight tourist places.
If you need to work, relax, or get ready to visit the many natural areas around the Olympic Peninsula, Rainforest Rest will meet your needs. The kitchen is fully stocked with oven, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, dishwasher and utensils. The bathroom was recently remodeled and has a tub with shower and the 2nd guest bedroom was updated in early 2017. Wireless internet, DISH TV, comfortable couch/loveseat and recliners in the living area will enhance your visit. The deck immediately off the living room is comfortably arranged with wicker furniture, small grill, fire pit and is under cover if the weather is inclement (during winter some of these items are put away or winterized but still available). You can sit in peace and quiet on the front porch also or on deck chairs around the small pond in the backyard. The garage with washer and dryer is usually off limits but if your stay is for at least 2 nights please contact the host and she will make the washer and dryer available to you.
This neighborhood is usually quiet with little disturbance. One of the many local elk herds visit the yard around the house and pastures across the street on a regular basis in winter and spring, less often in summer and fall. DO NOT approach the elk! As with any city, please lock your car and remove valuables although there has never been a problem. You will find information in my Guest Book on restaurants, nighttime 'hotspots', Olympic National Park areas, the Visitor Center, Logging Museum, Twilight areas of interest, and more.

  • If you are looking for a great place to base your exploration of the ONP then look no further. Great location, easy communication with the host, homemade cookies when we arrived. All the information you might need to stay and explore was right there on the kitchen table waiting for you. The house was clean, homey and had everything you might need for a overnight or a week.

  • I love camping but it's always hard to travel with all the gear. This was a great setup for camping in nearby Olympic Peninsula. Josef's kit was exactly as listed. Super spacious tent, sleeping bags, mats, chairs, stove, eating ware. He even threw in a dozen fresh eggs. Josef's setup enabled us to have a great experience in the park (highly recommend Sol Doc campground).

    Joey2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a great experience! We didn't have time to accumulate camping gear, and Josef made it so easy for us. All equipment was clean and well-cared for. Pick-up and drop-off were extremely easy and hassle free. Josef even threw in a dozen fresh eggs and gave us great tips on campsites and things to do. Thanks Josef!

    Justine2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • There was a bit of confusion on my part that Josef was kind enough to help me with. We were unable to complete our trip Due to some confusion but the customer service Josef provided was great! We intend on using his package at a later date.

  • This was the first time my wife and I camped together and we had a really great time. The communication was very good and we had everything that was mentioned in the posting. Our newly renovated, centrally located, craftsman home in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula & National Park is just the jump off point for all of your adventures! Enjoy a gourmet kitchen, comfortable quality bedding, local art & walk to restaurants. ***please note when booking, we try only to accept one night stays if they fill an already existing gap in bookings. Feel free to inquire about a one night stay, and we'll let you know ASAP if we can accommodate you. Thank you!
We just bought this home a few years ago, and have since remodeled the whole thing! We tried our best to maintain it's original charm, and put our own modern spin on it as well. We reclaimed much of the old and local woods, and were able to purchase many other materials locally to complete the project. It now has one main house (advertised above), and a guest house that we also rent out. Rent one, or both for multiple families. While there is much privacy between the two when rented separately - it can all be opened up for a flow between the spaces as well. We are located right in Forks proper, with excellent access to shops, restaurants, etc. It also proves to be a great home base for the National Park, as it is right in the middle of many attractions. I have worked in the hotel and service industry for a long time, and believe that we have left our home very accommodating for couples and families alike. Fully furnished, with coffee/tea and treats for your stay...all you have to do is show up, and you're at "home".
Although just off the main street, our neighborhood has proved to be quiet and friendly. There is a nursery just down the street that we love to stroll to with our morning coffee. There are restaurants & coffee stands all within a short walk, and a quick drive to enjoy sunrise or sunset at our local beaches. **Although we've not had any problems in the past, ALWAYS lock all vehicles and home.
  • Really sweet little house! Comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, and easy access to great stuff in the Olympic National Park, like Hoh rainforest, Pacific beaches, etc. Also love how well it's decorated, and I am hugely envious of the awesome butcher block table in the kitchen. The little town of Forks doesn't have a lot going on --although the Thriftway is impressively stocked with everything from local ice cream to rain boots.

    Mary Ellen2015-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this little gem! It was the highlight of our trip. It was super clean, comfortable and the perfect size for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The house is decorated with beautiful art, surfer style with many original touches such as air plants and driftwood. The kitchen was perfect for cooking and the kids enjoyed Netflix after a long day exploring Olympic National Park. Forks was an ideal location for visiting all parts of the park. We loved Kalaloch Beach 4 for great tide pools. The pizza place in town is great too. Our hosts were super helpful with everything and a pleasure to work with. We were sorry to go!

    Amy2016-07-18T00:00:00Z
  • Dylan and Justin's home was cozy and quaint to say in short. My jaw dropped upon entry, in awe of how well-done it was decorated. They definitely have an eye for interior design and know how to make you feel at home from fresh linens, kitchen supplies to make a meal at home, and lots of local advice for things to do in the area. I would highly recommend their place for a home-base for beach hoping along the coast. I am definitely telling all my friends to book this as their next getaway stay.

    Megan2015-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fabulous property that well accommodated me and my husband, our daughter and her boyfriend and our son. It is spacious and unbelievably well-equipped. We cooked every night after our hiking adventures to all over the Olympic Peninsula. Dylan and Justin were terrific, responsive hosts with wonderful helpful suggestions. The feel to the house is wonderful and we could've stayed even longer! Thank you thank you thank you!

  • We loved the Wood Street Guest House! It was very clean, had great kitchen, comfortable beds and lots of space: perfect for two couples maybe two children. It is located in an interesting town near great views of the rocky Pacific coast, a small fishing village and the Olympic National Park offering a lot of hiking opportunities.

    Robert2015-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this place! It was perfect a location for us when visiting the national park and had everything we could have needed. Thanks!

  • This cottage is adorable, comfortable and probably the best place to stay in Forks! Every amenity was thoughtfully provided and it is in a great location for exploring so many of the beautiful places on the west side of Olympic Peninsula like the Hoh Rainforest and Rialto Beach. Check out great Mexican food at Jalisco and caribbean style food at Puffin on 101. Convenient coffee house just across the road, too. We loved staying here!

Let us know the time and type of camping experience you are looking for and we will have everything set up ready for when you arrive! All you have to do is load up your family and friends in the car, grab some food and head to the camp spot! How easy is that?! We want you to have the best time here in the Olympic Peninsula so tell us what we can do to make your trip THE BEST! We offer guided river fishing trips, guided kayak tours and kayak rentals!
Prowler: This model is a 29 ft camper in your own private camping area! It has a queen size bed and futon. It is fully stocked for your convenience! We have a number of amenities, including indoor games, a 16ft projector screen where you can sit by the fire and watch a movie, ladderball, tether ball, a propane bbq grill and more. This is a central location at our business (Rainforest Outdoors and Adventures) close to Forks which makes it easy for people wanting to explore the rivers, beaches, hikes, rainforest, etc. Private area where guests with large groups can bring a tent and place it on the property at no extra charge.
  • Mitch is an excellent host. The place for the trailer was outstanding, secluded forest location right by the river with private beach. No other campers in site! Mitch is also great about recommending local attractions and outdoors activities. Will definitely stay at Mitch’s again.

  • We very much enjoyed our stay in Forks.

    Brett2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • The beds were comfortable, and it was warm inside the RV. Th water supply lasted without a problem. We enjoyed outdoor screen, fire pit and BBQ grill. We had a fun stay!

    Eun-Young2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • A nice place, set up as described. It is close to the highway so you can hear traffic.

    Cindy2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Pros: Easy to get to surrounding points of interest, and the area is beautiful. Big campsite with mostly everything necessary. Beautiful trees around the campsite. Movie screen was cool (but sun went down so late we didn’t get a chance to use it). Trailer was very CLEAN and the bathroom and shower worked great. Mitchell was great - easy to get in touch with and coordination was a breeze. Cons: Location is over a ridge off the highway. You can’t see the highway but can definitely hear it... based on another review I was expecting something more secluded with a creek and beach you could walk down to and this was not the case. The trailer has the basic necessities, but breakfast was not included (not sure how it could have been, and Mitchell gave us a small refund based on this fact). Aside from the basics there wasn’t much else in the trailer. We missed a pot cover for instance. Although the trailer was clean there was a faint mildew smell which made me want to keep the windows open, which was difficult due to the highway noise at night. All in allI would definitely consider booking with Mitchell again, but probably not at this location. He has a series of trailers that he will bring out to your campsite for you and I think if I had done that I would have been super happy.

    Erin2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • The camper was in a odd location (right off the main road) but it was secluded and close by stores and gas stations. I like how Matt provided outdoor and indoor games, fire pit, barbecuer and outdoor screen. The camper was clean and had everything you needed (toiletry and kitchenware). Big enough land so if you wanted to bring a couple tents you could. They do provide a couple movies but you can rent more at Thriftway. Overall my husband and I had a great time there!

    Justina2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • It was our first time camping out in the Pacific Northwest and first time ever sleeping/cooking in an RV so it was quite an interesting experience. You could hear cars from the highway but it won't bother you at all. Great wood for the bonfire and pretty cool inflatable film projector. Wish there was more movie options! Hehe

  • A very discreet and quiet trailer. Very nice and clean. Great spot to stay if you’re going around the national park. No running water but isn’t the end of the world, showers right across the way. Kevin came by and gave us some super tasty smoked salmon and other things. I would stay again for sure. Nice trail right down the road that takes you into Olympic national park.

  • Lita was very helpful and saved us with the Airbnb after all the hotels were booked in the surrounding area. Nice trailer. If you’re looking for a very secluded area, this is it. We stayed for one night; I think it would be perfect for a two or three night stay to chill out and explore some of the nearby hiking. Nice campfire in front of the trailer!

  • 房子不好找,建议以后先跟房东联系电话,因为到时候信号不好怕联系不上。洗澡的地方比我预想的远一些,不过还是很方便。

    Lin2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • It's a bit expensive for what it is but it seems to be cheaper than most places in the area. The main downside was there was no cookware of any sort. Other than that it was a nice place in the woods.

    Greg2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent location. Little out of accessibility, but it's a benefit in sense of solitude with full cellular network. Would definitely stay again. BYOB.

    Purvang2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • For us, Lita’s place was perfect. Secluded but minutes away from the 101. Into the forest a bit but an opening to enjoy the stars. There was a mystical creature named “Kevin” that left us some incredible smoked salmon. We loved our stay here and would do so again!

    Michael2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a gem. I can't wait to come back. We used it as "base camp" before hiking in the Hoh rain forest. The location was perfect; on a quiet road in the woods, with a few neighbors near by and the town of Forks less than 15 min. away. The RV felt like a real home; it was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. The 1+ mile of gravel road leading to the RV was new, and although it was steep and had some loose gravel as well as washboards, we felt safe on it. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants a great experience in a remote setting and doesn't mind "roughing it" just a tiny little bit regarding no running water.

  • The camper was perfect for the 2 of us. Remote, no cell.service for at&t, but right on the edge of Bogaichiel State Park. Close enough to drive for gas and groceries. Trailhead is at the end of the gravel road, do yourself a favor and check it out. Saw deer and a female Elk on our hike through the park! Gas fire for porch nights was awesome! We had an awesome time!

Close to all the beaches and the rain forest a mile and a half to forks-the cabin is next to nature so beautiful
  • We loved everything about it! Diana was the best... we will be back.

  • We had a WONDERFUL time in Forks; Diana was very welcoming and made sure we had everything that we could possibly need to enjoy our time in the area. She was extremely accepting of our two dogs (which can be hard to come by) and truly had a great property to offer. We enjoyed a nice, quiet escape while staying at her cabin.

  • Loved the woodsy private trail and rustic atmosphere of the cabin.

  • Diana was a great host. She met us off the road so we could find the cabin easily. Gave us a tour of the cabin. The cabin was spotlessly clean. She even knitted us little heart decorations to remember our trip! Thank you for a great experience. Hopefully we can come again one day!

  • Diana was great, she spent a lots of time explaining how things were working at the cabin. No bats unfortunately ;) great place for a short gateway near Forks.

    Romain2018-07-07T00:00:00Z

  • Diana was an amazing hostess. We loved that she gave us a predetermined place to meet to assure that we arrived safely. She took the time to show us around and to share so much information about the cabin and the property with us. We loved our stay and all the sweet extra touches that she created within and around the cabin. The location was perfect for all the things we had planned and even allowed for a bit of spontaneity too. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to contact Diana for our stay. It was comfortable in every way and provided everything we needed; truly perfect!

  • Diana gave us an upgrade. A lovely home at down town Forks, close to all restaurants. We had a really good time there!

  • Mitchell and Kaylee are amazing hosts. Our trip has been so much more fun and comfortable thanks to their beautiful trailer. They parked the trailer at the campground for us and they picked the most beautiful spot that faces the river. Mitchell even drove down to greet us and give helpful instructions and tips for our trips. They responded to all of our questions really fast. They gave us local guides on which beach to check out and which lake to visit. Thanks to them, we saved a lot of researching time and enjoyed our trip much more. They were even so kind to lend us their kayak and life jackets, so we could have a fun day on the lake. Overall, I highly recommend Mitchell and Kaylee. They are really respectful and thoughtful. I want to thank them so much for being awesome hosts.

  • We had a few issues with the RV during our stay but Mitchell and his family was always answering quickly and kindly. They find us a very nice and quiet spot.

    Caroline2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Mitchell’s trailer, they parked us right next to the river and it was a wonderful sight to wake up to every morning, to get full use of your money/space/time we would suggest staying for at least 3 full days. We got in late Friday evening and left very early Sunday morning so we didn’t get a chance to full enjoy everything like we hoped to, so we’re definitely hoping to rebook and stay awhile! It was a great experience!

Mick's Yurt was home to the star of "The Legend of Mick Dodge". The Yurt has two cots, electricity and a built in table. Bedding and towels are provided. There is no water plumbed to the Yurt, but the restrooms, showers, sauna and laundry room are just 25 feet away. We also have a new outside hot shower! Breakfast is served in the gazebo Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 AM to 9:30 AM, Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
The Yurt was built for Mick Dodge, the star in "The Legend of Mick Dodge" who helped us host in 2016. There are two large cots, built in table and the amenities. Starting Memorial Weekend the famous "Cow Boy" coffee and pancakes will be served Saturday and Sunday until Labor Day Weekend.
Forks has some of the most pristine waters in the U.S. including the Hoh, Sol Duc and Bogachiel Rivers. The peninsula has some of the best fishing guides to put you on the fish and the Pacific Ocean is just 20 minutes away. There are 3 Indian Reservations, two museums, the rain forest and many more activities that only the Pacific Northwest can offer.
  • Would steal this Yurt if I could have got away with it

  • Cozy spot! My third time here and each trip has been great. Beautiful property and great hosts!

  • We loved everything aboug the Yurt. It was clean, comfortable and an amazing location for visiting the rainforest. Pancakes and coffee around the fire was delicious. There is also a river that you can walk to from the site. Jan was so accommodating, i had to get something mailed and she even went to the post office to pick it up for me. Wonderful employees and friendly guests. Will def be returning on our next trip

  • A wonderful stay in a wonderful Yurt! We had lots of fun meeting fellow travelers, sharing stories, and wandering the grounds.

  • We had a great stay! The yurt was comfortable and cozy. The amenities are nice. It was quiet and peaceful, and very close to Forks. We would definitely stay there again.

  • Very friendly and gave great advice on hiking trails!

  • My boyfriend and I stayed in Mick’s yurt for the weekend and loved it. The yurt was clean and cozy and it was nice to have showers, sauna, and a bathroom on site just a few steps away. It was a plus to have an open air kitchen and bbq pit too to cook and hang out at. There were also friendly goats and chickens on site which were fun to interact with. The location is secluded, but just a short drive away from downtown Forks, so we had quick access to restaurants and the grocery store when needed. We will definitely be back this Summer!

  • Loved: Having a cot/bed to sleep in after camping for a few days. The breakfast was phenomenal: coffee and blueberry pancakes were excellent. Extremely friendly people! Hot showers and clean bathrooms were great! Disliked: It's right off of the highway and close to city center. If you prefer that, you'll absolutely love it. We just prefer more remote settings. Also, our Yurt wasn't ready when we arrived at 3pm. We left and did some day hikes and came back and it was good to go.
