“Dogtown, is an old local ghost town. There are a lot of boulders with life lessons. I have always wanted to go see this place. The town was founded in large part by wives and widows of seafaring men. The sight of the town was chosen for it's distance from the ocean. Called Dogtown, because of the dogs these women kept for protection. By 1840, no one remained in the town and it was a ghost town. ”
