“NO LIFT SERVICE / EXTREMELY DIFFICULT! The world famous Tuckerman's Ravine is a 2.5 hour hike up Mt. Washington, and the reward is unbelievable! Ski from the headwall of the bowl all the way down to the parking lot. Experts only. If you get there and the weather isn't promising (it can get brutal up there), drive an extra 5 minutes and find Wildcat, our favorite ski mountain around.”

“If I had to pick one "must ski" mountain in the valley it's Wildcat hands down, and it's only a ~20 minute drive through the beautiful Pinkham Notch. Wildcat is the least crowded mountain around, and usually has the best conditions. Intermediate and expert skiers will really enjoy this. Amazing on powder days, and the view of Mt. Washington is out of this world!”

“Built by a Native American Culture or a migrant European population? No one knows for sure. A maze of man-made chambers, walls and ceremonial meeting places, at over 4,000 years old America's Stonehenge is most likely the oldest man-made construction in the United States. Like Stonehenge in England, America's Stonehenge was built by ancient people well versed in astronomy and stone construction. I”
