“For natural beaches I recommend Ft DeSoto St Park or Honeymoon Island St Park. Both are in Pinellas and have an entry fee, but there's no high rises or buildings really and both have been voted one of America's best beaches. ”

“Just across the Gandy Bridge is a wonderful trip of beach and nature. No toilets or showers.... just beach and more beach. On the left side as you cross the bridge for swimmers and sun bathing, and if you want to fish, go on the right side. Beware of the tide in the afternoon.... do not leave your car unattended and go somewhere.... be aware that the tide comes close up! Beautiful place to catch some rays.”
